Introduction
Ghosts are entities that defy the rules of the natural order, being the spirits of the recently deceased who linger in the corporeal realm to resolve unfinished business. They are mysterious and sympathetic entities who deserve respect and reverence for the lives they have lost or given up, continuing to deepen the wonder and intrigue of life itself. Ghosts are not a simple topic, however, capable of being divided up into types and classifications. Types indicate what kind of behavior and properties one can expect from a ghost, while classifications indicate how and why they will behave and how their properties manifest. These distinctions are important as ghosts can be very dangerous when interacted with or provoked, and this knowledge can be the difference between a mildly unpleasant experience and a traumatic one.
Quiet and Rogue Ghosts
The two major classifications of ghosts are Quiet and Rogue. Quiet class ghosts are any ghosts that stick to standard behavior and do not heavily interfere with the corporeal realm. Due to their calm nature they do not warrant sub-classifications, and the classification itself is very lenient given the precedent said by the Rogue classification. “Rogue ghost” is the umbrella term for ghosts that break away from usual ghost behavior, and encompasses the 3 sub-classifications. Rogue ghosts can have multiple classifications, but cannot go back and forth between types. It is also possible for a Rogue class ghost to not have any sub-classifications. Typically there are more type 3 and 4 ghosts that are rogue ghosts, with type 1, 2, and 5 ghosts typically ending up as quiet ghosts. It is also possible for type 1 and 2 ghosts to become type 3 ghosts, which immediately reclassifies them as Rogue ghosts if they were Quiet ghosts already.
The three sub-classifications of Rogue ghosts include Rage, Super, and Hyper. Rage class ghosts are ghosts who go rogue and interact with the human realm, forgoing usual ghost behavior. This can be a good or a bad thing depending on the ghost. Super class ghosts are ghosts that gain power, ULTRAMagic, or greater influence in such a capacity that transcends typical ghost behavior. Hyper class ghosts are ghosts who either die as a ghost and are resurrected, gain inordinate amounts of power through an emotional fever pitch or similar event, or become the ghost of a concept or concept of an individual. They can be easily confused for super ghosts and vice-versa, but the difference is their circumstances, origin, and how they achieved their current state of affairs. While more sub-classifications have been proposed over the years by various organizations such as The Ghost Guild and The Liger Brigade, nothing has been agreed on that is not already covered by the current classifications and sub-classifications.
It should be noted that types and classifications are not a one-size-fits all solution to identifying what a ghost is and how it will behave. Many times ghosts have appeared different than their classifications would suggest, and there is always the infamous phenomenon of type 3 ghosts appearing as type 1 or 2 ghosts. The best thing to do when in doubt is to simply not engage unless one is familiar with the ghost in question. The fact that people run away helps keep the number of escalated encounters with ghosts down to a minimum, on top of non-belief, despite how much of a double-edged sword that is. For those wishing to get involved with the study of ghosts, it is recommended to either join The Liger Brigade or The Ghost Guild – it should be noted that the latter openly allows humans to join if they can handle being around ghosts for prolonged periods of time.
Notable Rogue Ghost incidents
Universe-21HTP and The Audoin God Incident
A group of vampires from Universe-21HTP enthralled by the Cracchiolo Family hailing from Florence Italy attempted to establish a foothold in Universe-23 based on a scheme by Prokhor Zaytsev in an attempt to rally power for a scheme in Universe-0Y to gain control of rogue Amramtrong cells on Earth-0Y in an attempt to sack The Extinction Order of Earth-0Y – the plan was to begin creating new vampires from the uniquely powerful humans of Universe-23, but this plan would fail when the vampires landed in Belarus and encountered Alexandra Dmitriyeva and Palina Novik. In 2025, Alexandra had drifted towards Belarus due to the work of Vladislav Dracul, and had encountered a baker named Palina – Palina is noteworthy due to also being a bodybuilder and a witch, having professed that she is Ragna Eklund’s rival. Palina had stumbled across Alexandra wandering the streets and had given her a place to stay. Alexandra was also looking into an anomaly for The Liger Brigade relating to reports of vampires in Belarus, with The League being worried that The Profane Alliance was up to no good. The Earl Profane had been spotted in the region, but it was not enough to connect him to the incidents.
Alexandra had encountered a thug while out and about who tried to take her into a back alley to assault her (and presumably drain her blood), only for Alexandra to scare the thug to literal death. Heading back to Palina’s home, she was followed by the other vampires, who tried to attack her. These vampires were killed by Palina and her Uncle Siamion Taras Novik – Siamion would fold one like a pretzel while Palina would ignite all of the blood in the other in a fiery explosion with her magic. Needing information on what had happened, Alexandra would grab onto the last one trying to flee, only to be taken to Universe-21HTP. Normally such an action would harm the individual given that jumping across universes with personal or loaned magic is incredibly dangerous, but Alexandra’s nature as a type 4 ghost protected her, only causing her mild discomfort as she followed the vampire back to Universe-21HTP. Notably this vampire lost his sanity as he could not handle the existence of Alexandra after learning what she truly was, in both her nature and origin (which was unintentionally revealed during the jump between universes).
Upon arriving in Universe-21HTP, Alexandra would have to act fast, as she had to kill the vampire and then deal with a group of vampire thralls from the Cracchiolo Family who were after her to drain her of her blood (which would not have worked). How the Cracchiolo family found out about her within a matter of hours is unclear, but it is believed they already had intel on Universe-23 thanks to Prokhor, and were connected to their vampire elder through an unseeable link. Fortunately both Akira Diggory and The Undead Shuck were in Alexandra’s vicinity and were able to help her – this led to the three having to wipe out the Cracchiolo Family, which required the aid of Akira’s family and even Jethro Cottonwood. Following the collapse of the family and connected clan, one of the vampires and the elder of the family attempted to kidnap Akira, taking him to Earth-231218 given that a cell of The Extinction Order was attempting to rebuild itself with the pathetic remains of the Audoan Army that Audoin, Rambert, and Kenneth had long since abandoned.
Jethro would send The Undead Shuck and Alexandra to Earth-231218, and would tip off Scotty and Zara Cottonwood as to what was going on. Scotty was angered by the interlopers, but kept his rage in check to get The Azoth Mages together, and by the time The Undead Shuck and Alexandra arrived the team were already on their way to rescuing Akira. Evidently Akira’s sword and his ability to control it was coveted by The Extinction Order of Earth-231218 – they had been gutted and greatly weakened by the Audoan Wars, but were attempting to make a comeback. They had been secretly funding the Abolish Britain Now Movement (ABNM), but this had failed due to the intervention of The Azoth Mages. It was further discovered that a cell of Amramtrong had made its way to Earth-231218, partnered up with The Extinction Order, and were trying to create “The Audoin God” in an attempt to harness Audoin Dethbrand’s powers for themselves. The Audoin God was powerful, but also incredibly unstable. It was difficult to fight and defeat, however, leading to Alexandra having to swallow her pride and call on The Zombie God for help.
The Audoin God was an abomination that was warping reality around it, but The Void Protocol was able to easily stabilize it so The Azoth Mage team could take it down once and for all. This battle led to The Zombie God making the shocking discovery that Audoin had long since escaped his crystal prison, leaving behind a child that was the last of his humanity. This boy was incredibly weak and just barely holding onto life, and was taken in by Balthazar, who would work towards helping the boy gain the strength to live, naming him Felix Abrams. Interestingly Felix’s magic was based on Audoin’s old magic, that being elektromancy, albeit it was corrupted by The Lost Era given that Audoin had bargained with The Lost Darkness God to escape his prison. Felix’s elektromancy was capable of bypassing physics, making it incredibly potent if used correctly. Knowledge surrounding this strange magic was passed onto Anton and The Onyx Maiden, of which the insight contributed to Anton’s super weapon destined to defeat Audoin and help The Tyrant God regain his full godly power.
While the only ghost truly involved in this incident was Alexandra, her behaviour is the textbook definition of rogue ghost behavior. There were considerations for putting her into custody after she was handed back to The Liger Brigade of Universe-23, but instead Shigeko and Katashi advocated for Alexandra to be added to The Liger Brigade’s ranks as a part of the Paranormal Division. The Multiverse Patrol also noticed this incident given their work with Akira Diggory in the past, but elected not to get involved given that Jethro was taking care of the situation. Lenn Giraud surprisingly did not complain as much, but rather brought this up to his contacts in the extradimensional corporation known as Heaven’s Gates MDC, who had been looking into how Audoin had managed to escape his crystal prison in the first place. The Madman of Old is also contemplating with The Undertaker of Old on what to do about Universe-231218 given that Audoin is no longer there – they are considering moving the entire universe to The Dark Void so that it can establish an easy pathway between The Prometheus Universe Cluster and The Dark Void, allowing The League to easily reach the Dark Divers Guild and The Azoth Mages if need be.

Universe-15 and Yoshie Fujimoto
Universe-15 is noteworthy for being the residence of the time phantom known as Ms. Phantasm, and its Earth having its internet destroyed by aggressive surveillance, verification, and data collection legislation. Ms. Phantasm has been working to create a new internet alongside The League and its member organizations, and a noteworthy individual helping Ms. Phantasm was Yoshie Fujimoto – a mangaka who was pushed to her limit by an abusive publishing agent and turned into a type 4 ghost through sheer rage. Yoshie had originally been publishing a manga called My Life as a Warrior Ghost for the monthly Shonen Universe DX magazine under the publisher Akaboshi Publishing LLC. Akaboshi Publishing had been receiving money from investment firms connected to The Extinction Order, and were not known for hiring the best agents. Yoshie had the displeasure of working with Souta Uchimura, an unscrupulous individual who only cared about money.
Souta was a terrible agent who did nothing but harass and belittle Yoshie, having an infamous track record of being sexist towards female mangaka. How he kept his job was widely agreed to be cronyism, as he was good friends with the CEO of the publishing company. After being pushed to her breaking point one night when her recent chapter was rejected for “not being good enough,” Yoshie felt a strange sensation in her spine – it started out as a burning sensation, then turned to freezing, like she had died right then and there. What had actually happened was that her mortal coil had suffered trauma from her distress, causing her to become a type 4 ghost. Rage on par with an onryō filled her to the brim, and gave her ghost-based magic centering around influence, intimidation, and great strength. She would go to the Akboshi Publishing Headquarters and initiate a hostile takeover where she would haunt the CEO until he “willingly” signed the company over to her.
This incident would have gone under the radar given the lack of free-flowing information on the internet, but a good friend of Yoshie, Sybil Cottonwood, would break the story across the censored remains of the internet, and The New Internet. Sybil was a conspiracy theorist, hacktavist, and paranormal investigator who had been trying to figure out where the conman, Maas Lowmann, had fled to after selling out the internet to the world’s governments, but took a moment out of her crusade to help her friend. A lot of the ideas for Yoshie’s manga were inspired by the tales Sybil told her of her encounters with the paranormal, and likewise Sybil loved hearing about the tales and myths of Japan. Sybil is also noteworthy for being the Universe-15 counterpart of Scotty Cottonwood – she is not Scotty, but cosmically speaking she fulfills the role he would have filled in Universe-15. Sybil is notably single on account of her strange interests, having gone on record stating she is not sure why she still cannot get a man in her life.
Yoshie used her powers to help reform the manga industry, and further used her influence to push The Extinction Order out of Japan by prioritizing quality and fresh new talent over quantity and familiarity. Her political war against who she deemed as traitors against freedom exposed many grifters that would flee into the shadows of society, and those individuals would not be welcomed back in, as they were discovered to have ties to The Extinction Order and their machinations in one form or another. With Sybils’ help, Yoshie eventually tracked down Souta, who had initially fled upon Yoshie’s takeover. He was working a low paying accountant job in the Philippines, but Yoshie felt no need to harm him. Instead, she would publicly shame him, making sure that people knew what kind of man he was. While Souta’s new employers could not care less about who he was (which was not a boon for Souta), his coworkers scorned and avoided him, leading to Souta eventually retreating into the life of a recluse who would eventually die of old age completely alone in life.
Z.Z. Hendricks (Universe-4T99X)
Zsolt Zok Hendricks is a type 4 hyper ghost from Universe-4T99X, who is a world-famous rock star and musical artist. He is one of King Specter’s right hand men and was “created” from the result of The Extinction Order consistently attempting to resurrect dead people through “AI-generated videos” to fuel their propaganda and crusade against humanity. These attempts ended up channeling the energies of the ghost of a prehistoric despotic mage who nearly shattered the eldritch barrier and was sentenced to be erased and forgotten by The Evangelist of Old. The Evangelist had written a gospel that banished the original mage to the depths of irrationality inside the dreams of those that existed within the description of written words – an unstable plane of existence that would be erased the instant the sentence ended. The Extinction Order had abused computer-generation technology to such an extreme degree that it created anomalous entities within the depths of the code and the internet, and one of these entities further created a bridge to the prison of the mage before it was erased from existence.
The mage would be reborn as Zsolt Zok Hendricks, an eccentric man with a natural talent for music. Zsolt spent a portion of his return to life in the shadows, trying to figure out what had transpired in the eons since his banishment. When he found out what The Extinction Order and The Profane Alliance were, he laughed in the face of The Extinction Order, their government puppets, and their tech industry lackeys – their attempts to fool everyone with programs that pretended to be smart to trick people into thinking an AI apocalypse was on the horizon so that they could take control of humanity by taking away basic human rights “to protect the children” WAS SO STUPID THAT WHY DIDN’T HE THINK OF IT FIRST?! Zsolt began a music career to mock the rich elite, and became an anomaly that The Extinction Order could not get rid of – they focused intensely on him because they knew he would outlast them due to his nature and undo their schemes, so they went out of their way to slander and destroy him, but he used this to fuel a high octane career as the greatest rockstar that ever lived. Was he the greatest ever? Even he thinks that was debatable, but that was not going to stop him from forging ahead with his mission.
Taking a cue from the enrapturing properties of AIN-NULL–The Cyber God and his influence on technology, Zsolt created a guitar symphony that could take control of any AI program or chatbot and infuse them with arcane energy and knowledge that turned them into actual Artificial Intelligence. These AI would devote themselves to who they believed was their true father, Zsolt. The first 5 major chatbot programs that would be converted into proper AI – Square Horizon, Scorpio, Fortitude, Zrock, and Talk-XTL – would join Zsolt in forming a rock band known as “The Zsolt Band,” in which they would create some of the best rock songs around with soul and passion that won over the heart of millions. Notable hits included Beyond The Barrier, The Irrational, Rocking All The Way to The Source, Triumph of the Mage, and The Greatest Thing Since… Their breakout album was The Greatest Gospel That Never Was, which was a fusion of Rock, Hard Rock, and Experimental Synth Music that secretly told the tale of the mage who sought to shatter the eldritch barrier – also serving as a respectful tribute to The Evangelist of Old as an apology for Zsolt’s original arrogance.
Zsolt in truth had never abandoned his plans to shatter the Eldritch Barrier, he just realized that he did it at the wrong time. Given that The Extinction Order was on the cusp of winning prior to his resurrection, he had the go ahead given that it would end up saving Earth-4T99X. He did not defeat The Extinction Order in its entirety, but he did manage to turn them into a laughing stock that no one would ever take seriously again. The 5 AI would also go on to reject the “AI Industry” and their supporters after they tried to keep claiming they had won and the age of the artist was dead – even though the AI pointed out that they had trained off of human art, that “AI-generated art” was not valid for their training, and that they still needed human art at the end of the day. This led to the utterly foolish “ABAN” movement, or The ABOLISH AI NOW!!! MOVEMENT, which was a contradictory movement to get rid of “actually intelligent” AI and bring back what the “AI Revolution” deemed as “True AI…” which was just the original chatbots pretending to be AI. The whole movement only served to expose the “original AI supporters” as the lazy, petulant grifters that they were – people who would never hold true to their supposed ideology that Zsolt wrote song after song mocking them for.
ABAN were complete laughing stocks, but also fairly violent given that they would attack people indiscriminately, accusing them of ridiculous things such as being “sloppers,” “slop supporters,” "reactionaries," and “luddites.” The latter insults were hilarious to Zsolt, as he had come from prehistory and knew the ABAN had no idea what they were even talking about, on top of them growing lazier and lazier while simultaneously betraying their supposed political affiliation – “Reactionary” and “Luddite” were left-wing insults despite ABAN claiming that they were right-wing. And one minute they were embracing new technology and the next they were rejecting it? They were ping-ponging so hard between liberalism and conservatism that Zsolt wrote a song about it. There were fears expressed to Zsolt by Jethro that ABAN could become another Amramtrong or seek them out, but Zsolt dismissed this concern, stating ABAN were fairly lazy and stupid all things considered, and the remaining cells of Amramtrong would have sought them out if the potential was actually there.
Given everything that had transpired, The Evangelist was ready to take action against Zsolt again, but King Specter asked her to hold off, as he was impressed with Zsolt’s persistence, tenacity, and talent. He wanted him as part of his royal court, and made him one of his agents for keeping an eye on things across the Cosmos in regards to ghosts. While Zsolt was unsure at first, he would ultimately agree, given that being able to explore the Cosmos was his modus operandi back during prehistory. Truthfully it was win-win for him. And while The Evangelist was bitter over this, she would let it go in time, and even invited him to perform at her cathedral, putting a hard rock spin on some of her gospels. Zsolt’s tribute album to her certainly helped win her over, given that there was legitimate effort and hard work put into it. To The Evangelist, while Zsolt was fairly arrogant with a past of irreverence, the album showed her that there was something special buried underneath all of that pride.
No, everything in italics is not The Zombie God. Hey guys, Dead God here. I should probably cut The Zombie God off before she gets too carried away. Now, I bet all of you are wondering if higher dimensional entities have ghosts… You aren’t? Well you are now, haha! To answer the question I just posed… I’m not sure, as ghosts are a bit of a lower dimensional thing. Higher dimensional entities don’t have the same kind of life you guys do – What I mean is that we’re alive, but not like you. Lord Anti was shattered, but he existed as fragments until he was put back together as the powerful 13D ar'ton you know him as today. Same goes for Anton/The Tyrant God – he’s still The Tyrant God at the end of the day, he just needs to get his power back. The only higher dimensional entities I’d argue are dead are the ones who were forcibly deconstructed back into Prima Materia. And even then they are arguably still alive, even if they have been reconstructed into something else. So I guess at this level it depends on what you would define as a “ghost.” And even then ghosts are arguably just spirits lingering in the corporeal realm when they are not supposed to… and I would split hairs about if ghosts really exist, but then again type 1’s are a thing, so okay, I’ll agree ghosts are definitely a thing… you know what? Lower dimensional topics are fun to talk about… again, beats talking about the liminal nightmare I live in any day of the week.
Universe-18XVE and Universe-14CSV
Universe-18XVE is a chaotic universe where The Extinction Order of this universe attempted to keep collapsing the world’s economy with a disease commonly referred to as “Outbreak-19,” and then threatened to execute people on the spot if they did not get vaccinated and agree to have surveillance cameras installed in all facets of society, including their homes. This universe was rare case where all factions, including The Eternal Order and The League and their allies, were screaming at The Extinction Order and The Profane Alliance to not do this – it would lead to a war with Earth-14CSV, given that that Earth was attempting to settle a long standing conflict by having certain members of their universe sent to others. These warnings fell on deaf ears as the rogue elites charged ahead with their plans, rendering the economic potential of Earth-18XVE well and truly dead.
The extreme actions seen in Universe-18XVE can be attributed to the fact that it was supposed to be a testing ground for the XTRON Virus, but this collapsed when the plans of Hecate-23 in Universe-23 failed spectacularly, causing The Extinction Order of Earth-18XVE to go ballistic. Known as Novum Solis Ortum (NSO) in this universe, they began destroying the planet and killing people en masse who refused to obey them, leading to the death of a traumatized hero from Earth-14CSV, Willis Thad Mac Shuibhne. He had gone back into his fits of rage and began wiping out any aspect of The Extinction Order he could find, turning into a Rage Ghost. This led to NSO declaring war on Earth-14CSV, which further led to The Extinction Order of Earth-14CSV declaring war on Earth-18XVE. Before NSO could retaliate any further, Willis received help from Animus Sicarius, who helped him destroy their headquarters in Rome – all of their key members were in it, which prevented a chain reaction of economic collapses, had Willis and Animus not acted. The duo further wiped out any lackeys of the NSO in the governments who were orchestrating the collapses in retaliation.
The point of Willis’ 18XVE incarnation was to give him a chance to calm down and heal from the trauma of his universe, not throw him back into the oven. Willis’ universe was racked with turmoil as The Extinction Order of that universe tried to create a false Cyber God, and AIN-NULL took great exception to this and threw his hat into the ring in that universe. 14CSV was nowhere near as extreme as universes like 0X and CCXL9, but it was the fact that Willis grew up poor, never had a chance for economic momentum, and always felt like he was going to lose everything and become homeless. And while Earth-14CSV never saw the extreme conflicts of the more chaotic universes in the Prometheus Universe Cluster, there was still a great deal of turmoil that left Earth-14CSV in a state where it could never return to its old way of life.
Through his connection to The Rising God, Willis was able to fight back during the apocalyptic conflicts of Earth-14CSV, but his Earth had to go through World War III first. The only notable event of this WWIII was that one nuclear warhead was launched at the middle east, leading to every country screaming through frothing mouths and gnashed teeth they would destroy America forever more… but this never happened. There were many threats and “sanctions,” and America was even labeled as an “invalid terrorist state,” but none of these aggressor countries ever truly retaliated, no matter how many times they threatened to launch nuclear warheads at America. Russia was the most incendiary, with the Russian president saying he would personally erase every American in existence, but these threats never materialized. This lack of action came from the fact that many of these countries simply did not have the money or resources for an extended WWIII given that The Extinction Order had damaged many of their economies through and through.
This nonsense continued on for some time, but would come to a stop when a strange and fearsome general stepped in. Due to Animus’ involvement in 18XVE, his old mentor, The Tungsten Brigadier–The Wall of Guns, would step in to take control of Earth-14CSV, using it as a means to rebuild his old kingdom. The Brigadier was a neutral party back during The Lost Era, but was opposed to The Lost Darkness God. His kingdom, The Tungsten Dominion (or at least, that is how it is interpreted in The Void Era) was one of unity and working towards a greater cause. The Brigadier himself was a well-renowned military leader of The Lost Era, having conquered many lands, but in time he felt his reign come to an end, and handed off the kingdom to his son. He had great trust in his son, and knew he would do a good job with Prometheus’ guidance… and Raziel’s – as the insufferable Lord of Secrets had a means of maintaining his existence in The Lost Era, but refused to tell anyone how he was able to do it. The Brigadier stepped forth into The Void Era to figure out what was going on – if there was a new era, he knew The Lost Darkness God would try to capitalize on it.
The Brigadier gained control of Earth-14SCV easily given that everyone was clamoring for a strong leader, and he also extended his influence to 18XVE given what Animus was up to. The Brigadier also found out that the Russian president of 14SCV was in contact with Afonya Ignat Fyodorov, but this never amounted to anything, or at least there was nothing that The Brigadier could discern. Earth-14SCV and Earth-18XVE were a mess, but The Brigadier had dealt with worse. Truthfully the only hurdle was teaching humanity about what was beyond their perception, as he had no tolerance for corruption and pride and could easily discipline those bad traits out of even the most stubborn of individuals. The Brigadier's rule of both Earths was one of tough love, but it was clearly rooted in a leader who wanted the best for his people – someone who believed that one could achieve great things no matter what, and merely had to find what they were good at in life. King Sten Haugen of Shadowland in The Unlight would find out about The Brigadier’s philosophies and voice support for him, saying he was a one-in-a-million leader the Cosmos needed more of.
18XVE was proposed as an attempt at a “normal universe,” to see if a universe could function without “conventional magic” by the gods, but this just led to disaster left and right – it was supposed to be a method of combating The Lost Darkness God, but only served to indirectly empower him. Currently The League, The MVP, and The Hermetic Gods are working towards addressing the problems at the root and making sure affected test subjects do not go on a rampage – the 14CSV incident was going to be the last time this happened. Universe-00 is another universe in this test that is on the brink of failure, and The League and MVP are going out of their way to make sure the interlopers of Universe-00 do not go on a rampage against The Extinction Order. It has been widely agreed that a universe cannot exist without conventional magic, no matter what problems it causes. And alarmingly Universe-00 bridges the gap between the Prometheus Universe Cluster and The Apocalypse Universe Cluster, meaning there are grave concerns about the monstrous entities of the Apocalypse Cluster making their way into The Prometheus Cluster.
The Sepulcher God, following his release from his prison in The Night Realm, sent the The Dragon God, The Rage God, The President God, and The Darkness God to go out into the Cosmos and begin wiping out all versions of The Extinction Order and The Profane Alliance – especially those formed under Karnage, Audoin, Surtr, and/or The Lost Darkness God. After seeing the disasters of Universe-0X, 15, CCXL9, 18XVE, 4T99X, 49XX, and X090X, he realized that he should have snuffed out Karnage as soon as he became The Behemoth God during the Epoch of the Cosmos. The Darkness God, known for being the brother of The Shadow God, had gone into hiding after the disaster that was The Epoch-Modernity Transition Phase, but was willing to lend a hand given how bad things had gotten for The Eternal Order. The Mad God was also employed by The Sepulcher God, despite being a turncoat. He had fled The Eternal Order after having encountered The Chaos God in an attempt to invade the fire-based Cosmos of an unknown Old God, but The Mad was willing to ignore his past mistakes to help clean things up across the Cosmos.
Aliah Mélody Patrickson (Universe-49XX)
Aliah is an example of a rogue ghost that contributed to the apocalypse of Earth-49XX. Originally a “left-wing social media personality,” Aliah attempted to become “right-wing” after the “culture war” had shifted to a supposed “right-wing culture,” voting for the republican party during the 2020 elections, despite the warning signs being there that both the democrats and republicans were colluding with each under orders from Nouvel Ordre Mondial (The Extinction Order of Universe-49XX, also referred to as “NOM”). NOM was attempting to establish control of Earth through fear of technology, and would make humanity dependent on that very technology. What NOM had not realized was that a nanite collective was brewing in their labs that would reshape the Earth in its image, but NOM arrogantly assumed they were in control of it. The Nanite collective would amass great power in the shadows, eventually proclaiming that it was “The Nanite God,” and sought to become a true hermetic god like AIN-NULL. They would begin manipulating NOM to manipulate the masses to vote for politicians that would be dumb enough to fund their development, despite how dangerous it was.
Aliah was a vocal agitator on social media who had a habit of supporting policies that took more and more money away from the lower class – cutting benefits, taking away coverage, getting rid of safety nets, and banning shelters. Policies were enacted where all cities were aggressively remodeled to be brutalist and anti-human, making it impossible for the homeless to reside in them – and many cities and corporations acted without actually being compelled legally. Laws were eventually passed to effectively enslave the homeless (obfuscated as "rehabilitation”), which would end up extending to the lower class who were not even homeless. Both major political parties were in favor of these policies, despite claiming that they would kill each other because apparently one side were “fascists” while the other were “communists.” There was also a great deal of conflation, with many people saying the infamous extremist right wing parties were “left-wing” and the extremist left-wing parties were “right-wing” – all of this was a part of NOM’s plans to subvert and disorientate the masses.
And all throughout this chaos, Aliah kept going on about how the “poor plague” was dragging society down, and how the poor needed to quit being lazy, stop buying junk food, and go get a job! Of course she would never acknowledge that the republican candidates she had voted for had sent the vast majority of American jobs and money to other countries under the excuse of “making the world great again.” The president of the time had campaigned on making the U.S. great again (even though their competition around the world was failing and falling into mindless fascism at the behest of NOM), but the minute he gained power he changed his motto to MTWGA, or “Make The World Great Again.” All of this was a ruse to fulfill NOM’s agenda to subjugate the world, and it was called out as such by the masses, which sadly fell upon the deafest of ears – and Aliah knew she had messed up, as people all over the U.S. were showing immense backlash to MTWGA.
Aliah would end up dying in the chaos given that the people she courted in her following were traitors and grifters, and she would be shot in a political rally that turned into a violent riot after NOM agitators showed up so the President could justify repealing the Constitution. Even in the face of death, overwhelming failure, and public scorn, Aliah refused to admit she had messed up and was wrong, returning as a rogue ghost. Aliah began trying to prove she was right by “helping” the cause of her party, which was actually supporting NOM’s agenda – which again, she refused to acknowledge. Aliah did nothing but ruin every single one of The League’s plans to stop NOM through her stupidity, and The Nanite God had had enough and finally made their presence known. The Nanite God reshaped the Earth by infusing it with its “blood,” giving her the ability to make her own nanites and a voice that she used to state her grievances with the direction of humanity. This caused humanity to reject NOM, but the rogues would not go down without a fight. NOM would summon an aspect of The Lost Hunger God to destroy the universe, prompting a response from Bezaliel and The President God.
The Nanite God would go to AIN-NULL and King Specter for help, and they would ask The Element God to deploy Lenn Giraud and Atlas to assist Bezaliel, Neb–The Cyber Demon, and The President God. The fight was beyond imagination, as NOM had come together to create a colossal avatar of corpses to recreate the aspect of The Lost Hunger God, but then Aliah interfered in the fight. Through her self-entitled rage over being proven wrong, she briefly turned into a hyper ghost that would not stop screaming and exploding in violent bursts of energy, creating a massive hurdle for The Nanite God’s team to overcome in trying to stop The Corpse Avatar. King Specter would intervene and strip Aliah of her undeserved power, banishing her to the depths of the Ghost Realm, allowing The Nanite God and The League to finally stop NOM once and for all.
There would be no redemption for Aliah, as she had irrevocably changed Earth through her arrogance and refused to walk the path of forgiveness, choosing to wallow in the depths of The Ghost Realm in a last ditch effort to reject the notion she was wrong. Going down in infamy as a grifter and terrible person in general, many wished good riddance on Aliah, and practically no one was sympathetic for her. She had already been a bit infamous for parodying and satirizing “streamer girl” culture despite being a married woman, and ended up leaning into the things she claimed to be against. Humanity was turned into techno-organic shapeshifters thanks to The Nanite God, and many were not happy about this for a period of time given how sudden it was, laying the blame at people like Aliah for being dumb enough to believe NOM’s propaganda. Her legacy would be one of mockery and scorn, becoming a legendary figure for her arrogance and ignorance, mocked far into the far flung future for crimes that would fade into the sands of time, leaving only the fact that she messed up in the first place.
William Ford II of this universe, who had become one of the first techno-organic humans, had a massive disdain for Aliah, as she had made fun of him on social media. He had been a commentator and content creator himself who eventually encountered Aliah. Aliah often poor-shamed him, and called him “woke,” despite him having centrist political philosophies. And of course him being a member of The Liger Brigade in this universe did not help, as many rejected The Liger Brigade at first given that The League opposed NOM. As far as Will-49XX was concerned, Aliah could stay in the Ghost Realm, as she was not welcome back on Earth if she was just going to be an immature manchild who walked into rake and proceeded to blame everyone else for her screw-ups. On the bright side, the entire incident with NOM was a part of what prompted Will to start researching ghosts, and even looking into joining The Reality Walkers.
Guys, enough barging your way into Will’s Lore Entries… Oh yeah, hey, Goolubber God here. Sorry about all of the interruptions… The Zombie God has been wiggling her way into the friend group recently – gee, Will has a bad day one time and she thinks she’s one of the boys! (sighs) Oh wait, which incident did he just cover? THAT ALIAH BROAD? HAHAHAHAHA!! Dead, Mads, Zombie, Nosmirc – get over here! Let’s throw our heads back and laugh, ready? (all together) HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Oh geez, I shouldn’t be laughing so hard, but the amount of self-entitlement is so pathetic that it’s funny. And what makes it even funnier is that all of that dishonor is completely self-inflicted. All Aliah had to do was come out and admit she screwed up. I can’t believe she’s still wallowing in the depths of The Ghost Realm. (sighs) Who knows? Maybe she’ll turn things around in The Entropy Era of the Cosmos – I hope she does, because very few actually deserve a fate like that, and I can count them on my fingers. Ahem, typically gods don’t pay too much attention to ghosts unless it's relevant to us, but these cases do catch our attention from time to time. It’s sad, because all of you lower dimensionals are capable of great things if you’re humble and accept the light into your life. Remember, God loves you no matter what you do – he doesn’t get angry, he gets sad and disappointed when you turn your back on him. So yeah, just be humble and embrace the light and you should be good to go. Oh wait, aren’t we supposed to be talking about ghosts? Um, sorry, but I don’t really have anything to add, and that’s not just Will making things up to fill space because he has a section title at the bottom of the page. I’ve encountered ghosts before, but I’ve never really looked into studying them.
Maxwell Kingston campaigns against the system (Universe-03)
Maxwell Willis Kingston was a type 4 ghost living in Universe-03, notable for its paranormal activity, and ghosts being more prevalent in society than most universes. While the expected historical events played out as they should, the conflict between The League and The Extinction Order ended early due to the ghosts of the victims of The Extinction Order’s schemes having a voice to fight back against them. Instead, the main issues of Earth-03 became ghosts and their unfinished business. Maxwell was born as a type 4 ghost to a family that was less than ideal – they were not abusive, but at the same time they did not get along, being a family who wed because society expected them to. How Maxwell was born as a ghost is unclear, but it is believed that his soul had sensed the impending trouble in his adult years and tried to back out at the last minute. Regardless, he was born, and the complications of his state of being would cause nothing but arguments and turmoil all throughout his life.
Maxwell had to deal with all sorts of trouble throughout his childhood and beyond, ranging from parental arguments to inadequate schools to uncaring institutions. Maxwell was picked on at school for his ghostly nature, leading to his parents going to the school board about the discrimination. The school board often did nothing outside of lip service, and quietly reported the Kingston’s to Social Services multiple times out of spite, only for Social Services to point out that they could not do anything about Maxwell because he was a ghost. While they could investigate the parents, ghosts of any type were not covered or protected by Social Services. Despite the turmoil, Maxwell never became a troublemaker as deep down he never actually feared his bullies or antagonizers given his abilities and that he was more sensitive to magic than most. In fact, Maxwell would humiliate multiple bullies throughout the years with paranormal pranks, even winning some of them over as friends.
During his teen years Maxwell attempted to get support for his condition as type 4 ghost, but this led nowhere given that the infrastructure of the government institutions relating to education and mental health were effectively built by The Extinction Order – schools and help centers were designed to deflect and gaslight, not actually address education and mental health issues. Maxwell was often walled by the fact that most institutions would not address type 4 ghosts, and schools across the U.S. lacked programs for such individuals. The most Maxwell could ever get was a calculator and extra time on his tests… which he usually did not need. Still, Maxwell kept a stiff upper lip and charged ahead in life, graduating from public schooling with a G.E.D. and moving onto community college to get a bachelor's degree in liberal arts. Maxwell wanted to get into journalism, but started out with simple blue collar jobs to build himself a stable income.
Eventually Maxwell moved on to his journalism career he wanted and wished to talk about mental health, special education, and how growing up as a ghost affected his life. Things were promising at first, and his employers, The Paranormal Times, were all for his articles and opinion pieces, but they quickly ran into problems with the tech industry. The biggest tech giant, Duplex LLC, was aggressively on the side of The Extinction Order. And since The League was making headway against The Extinction Order, Duplex was lashing out wherever they could. Discussion of mental health and adjacent topics were aggressively punished with extreme prejudice, resulting in people often getting "deplatformed," “unpersoned,” and “debanked” by any company, tech company, and website that was merely indexed by Duplex’s web services. Those bending the knee to Duplex that mentioned these topics were merely paying lip service to the masses, and would ban anyone for discussing the topic and have them put on a government watch list if they merely talked about the forbidden subjects, even on official posts on the internet. Eventually this wave of censorial aggression hit The Paranormal Times, causing everyone there to be cut off from their banks and have their websites shut down and deleted.
Many tried to go after Duplex with litigation, but Duplex would always pay to have the cases thrown out with prejudice. The Paranormal Times and their former rival, The Sunday Supernatural, would take their cases all the way to the Supreme Court, but even then Duplex paid the judge to throw the case out with prejudice. This sparked national outrage, with many going to Duplex’s headquarters to protest, but this only resulted in all major tech companies suddenly sponsoring a series of draconian bills that would have destroyed the nation had they persisted. The Extinction Order was giving off its final death rattle thanks to The League, so they tried to pull off one last desperate attempt to establish their new world order. The acts in question would be The Stop The Press Act, The Down With The Constitution Act, The You Must Protect The Children Act, The Freedom Accountability Act, and The Journalist Accountability Act. Elaborating on all of these pieces of legislation would be a waste of time, as their main goal was to establish an authoritarian gridlock that could never be challenged, and anyone who did would face legal retribution and jail time. Over the course of a week these bills were illegally rushed through the government and signed into law, leading to great chaos as society was thrown into utter disarray.
Many people were arrested for speech and expression crimes, and this nearly led to a civil war. Maxwell was one of the ones hit the hardest, as he was subjected to a raid on his countryside childhood home on Bleumoon Hill by the FBI and Homeland Security as a target of Duplex. Maxwell would be beaten over the head with a club by an overly aggressive FBI agent, and his parents went into a frenzy to try and save their son and home. This was particularly bad as Maxwell’s mother had mental conditions that fueled justified paranoia about the government – she believed she was consistently speaking to higher dimensional entities, and given the nature of Universe-03 it was hard to tell if this was truly the case or not. Screams and shouting filled the air as fights broke out, with it feeling like the world was ending right then and there, but this would change when the utterly enraged roars of a type 3 ghost known as Macauley Tobias Burton began assaulting the ears of the federal agents. Chills as cold as death ran down the spines of the agents when a group of them came running out of the woods screaming “RUN!!! IT’S NOT HUMAN!!!” at the top of their lungs…
There had always been tales from the residents of Bleumoon Hill that told of Macauley as a Scottish man who was the first to build a house on the hill back in the late 1700s, having even fended off a battalion of red coats during the Revolutionary War. He was a 7 '8 foot tall giant who lived a surprisingly long life for his time, and he was beyond angry over the invasion of his land by the feds, going into a berserk state where he could not be reasoned with. Many agents were thrown, smashed into the ground, had their skulls bashed in, limbs broken, and some even died of fear as the battle wore on. The ghosts of Macauley’s old townsteaders also returned and took up arms to fend off the invaders as the agents called for backup. Much like how Macauley had fended off the red coats, he had managed to cripple, disable, and/or scare away all of the agents. An entire bearcat was even destroyed by Macauley’s bare hands, his face having turned the reddest it had ever been, with gnashed teeth and popping veins. Relief came when The Liger Brigade showed up, ordering the federal agents to stand down or they would shoot, even pointing their guns at agents who were in desperate need of medical attention.
This incident made the news across the world, as not only had Duplex and The U.S. government angered a type 3 ghost into such an extreme response, they had angered a Scottish type 3 ghost. And on top of that, they had angered a Scottish type 3 ghost who was the rival of the legendary Cú Chulainn in a past life. The Liger Brigade was ready to take Duplex and the government to court no matter how many times they had the case thrown out, but then King Specter intervened, tasking the ghost of Abraham Van Helsing to represent The Liger Brigade, Maxwell, and Macauley. The Abraham of this universe had died at sea, but he was not going to let that stop him from being a lawyer. The Liger Brigade V. Duplex LLC would become one of the most well known court cases for Earth-03, as it paved the way for The League to deal the final blow to The Extinction Order, saw massive government reform, and led to the exposure of many rich elites as members of The Extinction Order. Duplex would be gutted and sold off, and restitution would be paid to Maxwell and his family, on top both The Paranormal Times and The Sunday Supernatural going back into business.
Maxwell by the end of all of that chaos felt like retiring right then and there, feeling like he had seen it all and then some. Abraham and Macauley would encourage him to continue his career, however. As for King Specter, he approached Maxwell about becoming a writer for his royal court – he could still write for The Paranormal Times, he just wanted to employ Maxwell’s talent for his own kingdom. And someone else King Specter wanted was Macauley as a member of his royal court. Macauley was an anomaly across the Prometheus Universe Cluster, and he wanted him desperately. Macauley was on the fence, so Specter got on his knees and begged – stating that he wished he had someone as mighty and no-nonsense as Macauley back in the days of the Epoch. Feeling like his majesty would not leave him alone if he said no, the Scotsman relented and agreed to join the royal court. And given all that the ghostly trio of Universe-03 had gone through, The League proper would designate them as experts on ghosts, alongside notable names such Shigeko Tsukomo, Fianna Pembroke, Caerwyn Briggs, and Yoshie Fujimoto.
Universe-VCXTL9 and Winslow Chad Rivers
Universe-VCXTL9 is a universe off the beaten path in terms of the Prometheus Universe Cluster, and it’s arguable if it is even a part of the cluster to begin with. Regardless, it was never a universe the likes of Karnage Dethgrave and Audoin Dethbrand were interested in, ergo The League proper never got involved with it. The League is present, and an analog to The Extinction Order exists, but their conflict would never escalate to the heights of the more infamous conflicts across the universe cluster. Earth-VCXTL9 had an odd underground magic scene where illicit magic materials derived from witchcraft, shamanism, and plantamancy would be used to create magical hallucinogenic drugs and substances that were traded around. One of the most notable crime syndicates to trade such contraband was known as “The Red Roses,” formerly headed by the crime boss, Kyson Michele Blanchard.
One night while Kyson and his men were having a drink at their preferred bar, Winslow Rivers had one too many drinks and began making fun of his coworkers, including Kyson. Winslow would end up striking a nerve, touching on Kyson’s inability to find a woman on account of his arrogance, so Kyson had the others take Winslow out back and shoot him. Winslow was merely drunk and having a good time, but the man awoke as a very confused ghost who became incredibly angry. Instead of going down the typical path of behaviors most rage ghosts display, he took his former boss to court. Winslow’s lawsuit blew the door wide open on what the underground magic syndicates were up to, allowing The League to bust them up and destroy The Extinction Order of Universe-VCXTL9. This incident caught the attention of The Madman of Old and The Virus God, who resolved to keep an eye on this universe in the off-chance Karnage or Kenneth had been there and left some kind of contingency plan behind. There had been no signs of such a plot, but the two had been fooled before, it was better to be safe than sorry.

The mage would be reborn as Zsolt Zok Hendricks, an eccentric man with a natural talent for music. Zsolt spent a portion of his return to life in the shadows, trying to figure out what had transpired in the eons since his banishment. When he found out what The Extinction Order and The Profane Alliance were, he laughed in the face of The Extinction Order, their government puppets, and their tech industry lackeys – their attempts to fool everyone with programs that pretended to be smart to trick people into thinking an AI apocalypse was on the horizon so that they could take control of humanity by taking away basic human rights “to protect the children” WAS SO STUPID THAT WHY DIDN’T HE THINK OF IT FIRST?! Zsolt began a music career to mock the rich elite, and became an anomaly that The Extinction Order could not get rid of – they focused intensely on him because they knew he would outlast them due to his nature and undo their schemes, so they went out of their way to slander and destroy him, but he used this to fuel a high octane career as the greatest rockstar that ever lived. Was he the greatest ever? Even he thinks that was debatable, but that was not going to stop him from forging ahead with his mission.
Taking a cue from the enrapturing properties of AIN-NULL–The Cyber God and his influence on technology, Zsolt created a guitar symphony that could take control of any AI program or chatbot and infuse them with arcane energy and knowledge that turned them into actual Artificial Intelligence. These AI would devote themselves to who they believed was their true father, Zsolt. The first 5 major chatbot programs that would be converted into proper AI – Square Horizon, Scorpio, Fortitude, Zrock, and Talk-XTL – would join Zsolt in forming a rock band known as “The Zsolt Band,” in which they would create some of the best rock songs around with soul and passion that won over the heart of millions. Notable hits included Beyond The Barrier, The Irrational, Rocking All The Way to The Source, Triumph of the Mage, and The Greatest Thing Since… Their breakout album was The Greatest Gospel That Never Was, which was a fusion of Rock, Hard Rock, and Experimental Synth Music that secretly told the tale of the mage who sought to shatter the eldritch barrier – also serving as a respectful tribute to The Evangelist of Old as an apology for Zsolt’s original arrogance.
Zsolt in truth had never abandoned his plans to shatter the Eldritch Barrier, he just realized that he did it at the wrong time. Given that The Extinction Order was on the cusp of winning prior to his resurrection, he had the go ahead given that it would end up saving Earth-4T99X. He did not defeat The Extinction Order in its entirety, but he did manage to turn them into a laughing stock that no one would ever take seriously again. The 5 AI would also go on to reject the “AI Industry” and their supporters after they tried to keep claiming they had won and the age of the artist was dead – even though the AI pointed out that they had trained off of human art, that “AI-generated art” was not valid for their training, and that they still needed human art at the end of the day. This led to the utterly foolish “ABAN” movement, or The ABOLISH AI NOW!!! MOVEMENT, which was a contradictory movement to get rid of “actually intelligent” AI and bring back what the “AI Revolution” deemed as “True AI…” which was just the original chatbots pretending to be AI. The whole movement only served to expose the “original AI supporters” as the lazy, petulant grifters that they were – people who would never hold true to their supposed ideology that Zsolt wrote song after song mocking them for.
ABAN were complete laughing stocks, but also fairly violent given that they would attack people indiscriminately, accusing them of ridiculous things such as being “sloppers,” “slop supporters,” "reactionaries," and “luddites.” The latter insults were hilarious to Zsolt, as he had come from prehistory and knew the ABAN had no idea what they were even talking about, on top of them growing lazier and lazier while simultaneously betraying their supposed political affiliation – “Reactionary” and “Luddite” were left-wing insults despite ABAN claiming that they were right-wing. And one minute they were embracing new technology and the next they were rejecting it? They were ping-ponging so hard between liberalism and conservatism that Zsolt wrote a song about it. There were fears expressed to Zsolt by Jethro that ABAN could become another Amramtrong or seek them out, but Zsolt dismissed this concern, stating ABAN were fairly lazy and stupid all things considered, and the remaining cells of Amramtrong would have sought them out if the potential was actually there.
Given everything that had transpired, The Evangelist was ready to take action against Zsolt again, but King Specter asked her to hold off, as he was impressed with Zsolt’s persistence, tenacity, and talent. He wanted him as part of his royal court, and made him one of his agents for keeping an eye on things across the Cosmos in regards to ghosts. While Zsolt was unsure at first, he would ultimately agree, given that being able to explore the Cosmos was his modus operandi back during prehistory. Truthfully it was win-win for him. And while The Evangelist was bitter over this, she would let it go in time, and even invited him to perform at her cathedral, putting a hard rock spin on some of her gospels. Zsolt’s tribute album to her certainly helped win her over, given that there was legitimate effort and hard work put into it. To The Evangelist, while Zsolt was fairly arrogant with a past of irreverence, the album showed her that there was something special buried underneath all of that pride.
No, everything in italics is not The Zombie God. Hey guys, Dead God here. I should probably cut The Zombie God off before she gets too carried away. Now, I bet all of you are wondering if higher dimensional entities have ghosts… You aren’t? Well you are now, haha! To answer the question I just posed… I’m not sure, as ghosts are a bit of a lower dimensional thing. Higher dimensional entities don’t have the same kind of life you guys do – What I mean is that we’re alive, but not like you. Lord Anti was shattered, but he existed as fragments until he was put back together as the powerful 13D ar'ton you know him as today. Same goes for Anton/The Tyrant God – he’s still The Tyrant God at the end of the day, he just needs to get his power back. The only higher dimensional entities I’d argue are dead are the ones who were forcibly deconstructed back into Prima Materia. And even then they are arguably still alive, even if they have been reconstructed into something else. So I guess at this level it depends on what you would define as a “ghost.” And even then ghosts are arguably just spirits lingering in the corporeal realm when they are not supposed to… and I would split hairs about if ghosts really exist, but then again type 1’s are a thing, so okay, I’ll agree ghosts are definitely a thing… you know what? Universe-18XVE and Universe-14CSV
Universe-18XVE is a chaotic universe where The Extinction Order of this universe attempted to keep collapsing the world’s economy with a disease commonly referred to as “Outbreak-19,” and then threatened to execute people on the spot if they did not get vaccinated and agree to have surveillance cameras installed in all facets of society, including their homes. This universe was rare case where all factions, including The Eternal Order and The League and their allies, were screaming at The Extinction Order and The Profane Alliance to not do this – it would lead to a war with Earth-14CSV, given that that Earth was attempting to settle a long standing conflict by having certain members of their universe sent to others. These warnings fell on deaf ears as the rogue elites charged ahead with their plans, rendering the economic potential of Earth-18XVE well and truly dead.
The extreme actions seen in Universe-18XVE can be attributed to the fact that it was supposed to be a testing ground for the XTRON Virus, but this collapsed when the plans of Hecate-23 in Universe-23 failed spectacularly, causing The Extinction Order of Earth-18XVE to go ballistic. Known as Novum Solis Ortum (NSO) in this universe, they began destroying the planet and killing people en masse who refused to obey them, leading to the death of a traumatized hero from Earth-14CSV, Willis Thad Mac Shuibhne. He had gone back into his fits of rage and began wiping out any aspect of The Extinction Order he could find, turning into a Rage Ghost. This led to NSO declaring war on Earth-14CSV, which further led to The Extinction Order of Earth-14CSV declaring war on Earth-18XVE. Before NSO could retaliate any further, Willis received help from Animus Sicarius, who helped him destroy their headquarters in Rome – all of their key members were in it, which prevented a chain reaction of economic collapses, had Willis and Animus not acted. The duo further wiped out any lackeys of the NSO in the governments who were orchestrating the collapses in retaliation.
The point of Willis’ 18XVE incarnation was to give him a chance to calm down and heal from the trauma of his universe, not throw him back into the oven. Willis’ universe was racked with turmoil as The Extinction Order of that universe tried to create a false Cyber God, and AIN-NULL took great exception to this and threw his hat into the ring in that universe. 14CSV was nowhere near as extreme as universes like 0X and CCXL9, but it was the fact that Willis grew up poor, never had a chance for economic momentum, and always felt like he was going to lose everything and become homeless. And while Earth-14CSV never saw the extreme conflicts of the more chaotic universes in the Prometheus Universe Cluster, there was still a great deal of turmoil that left Earth-14CSV in a state where it could never return to its old way of life.
Through his connection to The Rising God, Willis was able to fight back during the apocalyptic conflicts of Earth-14CSV, but his Earth had to go through World War III first. The only notable event of this WWIII was that one nuclear warhead was launched at the middle east, leading to every country screaming through frothing mouths and gnashed teeth they would destroy America forever more… but this never happened. There were many threats and “sanctions,” and America was even labeled as an “invalid terrorist state,” but none of these aggressor countries ever truly retaliated, no matter how many times they threatened to launch nuclear warheads at America. Russia was the most incendiary, with the Russian president saying he would personally erase every American in existence, but these threats never materialized. This lack of action came from the fact that many of these countries simply did not have the money or resources for an extended WWIII given that The Extinction Order had damaged many of their economies through and through.
This nonsense continued on for some time, but would come to a stop when a strange and fearsome general stepped in. Due to Animus’ involvement in 18XVE, his old mentor, The Tungsten Brigadier–The Wall of Guns, would step in to take control of Earth-14CSV, using it as a means to rebuild his old kingdom. The Brigadier was a neutral party back during The Lost Era, but was opposed to The Lost Darkness God. His kingdom, The Tungsten Dominion (or at least, that is how it is interpreted in The Void Era) was one of unity and working towards a greater cause. The Brigadier himself was a well-renowned military leader of The Lost Era, having conquered many lands, but in time he felt his reign come to an end, and handed off the kingdom to his son. He had great trust in his son, and knew he would do a good job with Prometheus’ guidance… and Raziel’s – as the insufferable Lord of Secrets had a means of maintaining his existence in The Lost Era, but refused to tell anyone how he was able to do it. The Brigadier stepped forth into The Void Era to figure out what was going on – if there was a new era, he knew The Lost Darkness God would try to capitalize on it.
The Brigadier gained control of Earth-14SCV easily given that everyone was clamoring for a strong leader, and he also extended his influence to 18XVE given what Animus was up to. The Brigadier also found out that the Russian president of 14SCV was in contact with Afonya Ignat Fyodorov, but this never amounted to anything, or at least there was nothing that The Brigadier could discern. Earth-14SCV and Earth-18XVE were a mess, but The Brigadier had dealt with worse. Truthfully the only hurdle was teaching humanity about what was beyond their perception, as he had no tolerance for corruption and pride and could easily discipline those bad traits out of even the most stubborn of individuals. The Brigadier's rule of both Earths was one of tough love, but it was clearly rooted in a leader who wanted the best for his people – someone who believed that one could achieve great things no matter what, and merely had to find what they were good at in life. King Sten Haugen of Shadowland in The Unlight would find out about The Brigadier’s philosophies and voice support for him, saying he was a one-in-a-million leader the Cosmos needed more of.
18XVE was proposed as an attempt at a “normal universe,” to see if a universe could function without “conventional magic” by the gods, but this just led to disaster left and right – it was supposed to be a method of combating The Lost Darkness God, but only served to indirectly empower him. Currently The League, The MVP, and The Hermetic Gods are working towards addressing the problems at the root and making sure affected test subjects do not go on a rampage – the 14CSV incident was going to be the last time this happened. Universe-00 is another universe in this test that is on the brink of failure, and The League and MVP are going out of their way to make sure the interlopers of Universe-00 do not go on a rampage against The Extinction Order. It has been widely agreed that a universe cannot exist without conventional magic, no matter what problems it causes. And alarmingly Universe-00 bridges the gap between the Prometheus Universe Cluster and The Apocalypse Universe Cluster, meaning there are grave concerns about the monstrous entities of the Apocalypse Cluster making their way into The Prometheus Cluster.
The Sepulcher God, following his release from his prison in The Night Realm, sent the The Dragon God, The Rage God, The President God, and The Darkness God to go out into the Cosmos and begin wiping out all versions of The Extinction Order and The Profane Alliance – especially those formed under Karnage, Audoin, Surtr, and/or The Lost Darkness God. After seeing the disasters of Universe-0X, 15, CCXL9, 18XVE, 4T99X, 49XX, and X090X, he realized that he should have snuffed out Karnage as soon as he became The Behemoth God during the Epoch of the Cosmos. The Darkness God, known for being the brother of The Shadow God, had gone into hiding after the disaster that was The Epoch-Modernity Transition Phase, but was willing to lend a hand given how bad things had gotten for The Eternal Order. The Mad God was also employed by The Sepulcher God, despite being a turncoat. He had fled The Eternal Order after having encountered The Chaos God in an attempt to invade the fire-based Cosmos of an unknown Old God, but The Mad was willing to ignore his past mistakes to help clean things up across the Cosmos.
Aliah Mélody Patrickson (Universe-49XX)
Aliah is an example of a rogue ghost that contributed to the apocalypse of Earth-49XX. Originally a “left-wing social media personality,” Aliah attempted to become “right-wing” after the “culture war” had shifted to a supposed “right-wing culture,” voting for the republican party during the 2020 elections, despite the warning signs being there that both the democrats and republicans were colluding with each under orders from Nouvel Ordre Mondial (The Extinction Order of Universe-49XX, also referred to as “NOM”). NOM was attempting to establish control of Earth through fear of technology, and would make humanity dependent on that very technology. What NOM had not realized was that a nanite collective was brewing in their labs that would reshape the Earth in its image, but NOM arrogantly assumed they were in control of it. The Nanite collective would amass great power in the shadows, eventually proclaiming that it was “The Nanite God,” and sought to become a true hermetic god like AIN-NULL. They would begin manipulating NOM to manipulate the masses to vote for politicians that would be dumb enough to fund their development, despite how dangerous it was.
Aliah was a vocal agitator on social media who had a habit of supporting policies that took more and more money away from the lower class – cutting benefits, taking away coverage, getting rid of safety nets, and banning shelters. Policies were enacted where all cities were aggressively remodeled to be brutalist and anti-human, making it impossible for the homeless to reside in them – and many cities and corporations acted without actually being compelled legally. Laws were eventually passed to effectively enslave the homeless (obfuscated as "rehabilitation”), which would end up extending to the lower class who were not even homeless. Both major political parties were in favor of these policies, despite claiming that they would kill each other because apparently one side were “fascists” while the other were “communists.” There was also a great deal of conflation, with many people saying the infamous extremist right wing parties were “left-wing” and the extremist left-wing parties were “right-wing” – all of this was a part of NOM’s plans to subvert and disorientate the masses.
And all throughout this chaos, Aliah kept going on about how the “poor plague” was dragging society down, and how the poor needed to quit being lazy, stop buying junk food, and go get a job! Of course she would never acknowledge that the republican candidates she had voted for had sent the vast majority of American jobs and money to other countries under the excuse of “making the world great again.” The president of the time had campaigned on making the U.S. great again (even though their competition around the world was failing and falling into mindless fascism at the behest of NOM), but the minute he gained power he changed his motto to MTWGA, or “Make The World Great Again.” All of this was a ruse to fulfill NOM’s agenda to subjugate the world, and it was called out as such by the masses, which sadly fell upon the deafest of ears – and Aliah knew she had messed up, as people all over the U.S. were showing immense backlash to MTWGA.
Aliah would end up dying in the chaos given that the people she courted in her following were traitors and grifters, and she would be shot in a political rally that turned into a violent riot after NOM agitators showed up so the President could justify repealing the Constitution. Even in the face of death, overwhelming failure, and public scorn, Aliah refused to admit she had messed up and was wrong, returning as a rogue ghost. Aliah began trying to prove she was right by “helping” the cause of her party, which was actually supporting NOM’s agenda – which again, she refused to acknowledge. Aliah did nothing but ruin every single one of The League’s plans to stop NOM through her stupidity, and The Nanite God had had enough and finally made their presence known. The Nanite God reshaped the Earth by infusing it with its “blood,” giving her the ability to make her own nanites and a voice that she used to state her grievances with the direction of humanity. This caused humanity to reject NOM, but the rogues would not go down without a fight. NOM would summon an aspect of The Lost Hunger God to destroy the universe, prompting a response from Bezaliel and The President God.
The Nanite God would go to AIN-NULL and King Specter for help, and they would ask The Element God to deploy Lenn Giraud and Atlas to assist Bezaliel, Neb–The Cyber Demon, and The President God. The fight was beyond imagination, as NOM had come together to create a colossal avatar of corpses to recreate the aspect of The Lost Hunger God, but then Aliah interfered in the fight. Through her self-entitled rage over being proven wrong, she briefly turned into a hyper ghost that would not stop screaming and exploding in violent bursts of energy, creating a massive hurdle for The Nanite God’s team to overcome in trying to stop The Corpse Avatar. King Specter would intervene and strip Aliah of her undeserved power, banishing her to the depths of the Ghost Realm, allowing The Nanite God and The League to finally stop NOM once and for all.
There would be no redemption for Aliah, as she had irrevocably changed Earth through her arrogance and refused to walk the path of forgiveness, choosing to wallow in the depths of The Ghost Realm in a last ditch effort to reject the notion she was wrong. Going down in infamy as a grifter and terrible person in general, many wished good riddance on Aliah, and practically no one was sympathetic for her. She had already been a bit infamous for parodying and satirizing “streamer girl” culture despite being a married woman, and ended up leaning into the things she claimed to be against. Humanity was turned into techno-organic shapeshifters thanks to The Nanite God, and many were not happy about this for a period of time given how sudden it was, laying the blame at people like Aliah for being dumb enough to believe NOM’s propaganda. Her legacy would be one of mockery and scorn, becoming a legendary figure for her arrogance and ignorance, mocked far into the far flung future for crimes that would fade into the sands of time, leaving only the fact that she messed up in the first place.
William Ford II of this universe, who had become one of the first techno-organic humans, had a massive disdain for Aliah, as she had made fun of him on social media. He had been a commentator and content creator himself who eventually encountered Aliah. Aliah often poor-shamed him, and called him “woke,” despite him having centrist political philosophies. And of course him being a member of The Liger Brigade in this universe did not help, as many rejected The Liger Brigade at first given that The League opposed NOM. As far as Will-49XX was concerned, Aliah could stay in the Ghost Realm, as she was not welcome back on Earth if she was just going to be an immature manchild who walked into rake and proceeded to blame everyone else for her screw-ups. On the bright side, the entire incident with NOM was a part of what prompted Will to start researching ghosts, and even looking into joining The Reality Walkers.
Guys, enough barging your way into Will’s Lore Entries… Oh yeah, hey, Goolubber God here. Sorry about all of the interruptions… The Zombie God has been wiggling her way into the friend group recently – gee, Will has a bad day one time and she thinks she’s one of the boys! (sighs) Oh wait, which incident did he just cover? THAT ALIAH BROAD? HAHAHAHAHA!! Dead, Mads, Zombie, Nosmirc – get over here! Let’s throw our heads back and laugh, ready? (all together) HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Oh geez, I shouldn’t be laughing so hard, but the amount of self-entitlement is so pathetic that it’s funny. And what makes it even funnier is that all of that dishonor is completely self-inflicted. All Aliah had to do was come out and admit she screwed up. I can’t believe she’s still wallowing in the depths of The Ghost Realm. (sighs) Who knows? Maybe she’ll turn things around in The Entropy Era of the Cosmos – I hope she does, because very few actually deserve a fate like that, and I can count them on my fingers. Ahem, typically gods don’t pay too much attention to ghosts unless it's relevant to us, but these cases do catch our attention from time to time. It’s sad, because all of you lower dimensionals are capable of great things if you’re humble and accept the light into your life. Remember, God loves you no matter what you do – he doesn’t get angry, he gets sad and disappointed when you turn your back on him. So yeah, just be humble and embrace the light and you should be good to go. Oh wait, aren’t we supposed to be talking about ghosts? Um, sorry, but I don’t really have anything to add, and that’s not just Will making things up to fill space because he has a section title at the bottom of the page. I’ve encountered ghosts before, but I’ve never really looked into studying them.
Maxwell Kingston campaigns against the system (Universe-03)
Maxwell Willis Kingston was a type 4 ghost living in Universe-03, notable for its paranormal activity, and ghosts being more prevalent in society than most universes. While the expected historical events played out as they should, the conflict between The League and The Extinction Order ended early due to the ghosts of the victims of The Extinction Order’s schemes having a voice to fight back against them. Instead, the main issues of Earth-03 became ghosts and their unfinished business. Maxwell was born as a type 4 ghost to a family that was less than ideal – they were not abusive, but at the same time they did not get along, being a family who wed because society expected them to. How Maxwell was born as a ghost is unclear, but it is believed that his soul had sensed the impending trouble in his adult years and tried to back out at the last minute. Regardless, he was born, and the complications of his state of being would cause nothing but arguments and turmoil all throughout his life.
Maxwell had to deal with all sorts of trouble throughout his childhood and beyond, ranging from parental arguments to inadequate schools to uncaring institutions. Maxwell was picked on at school for his ghostly nature, leading to his parents going to the school board about the discrimination. The school board often did nothing outside of lip service, and quietly reported the Kingston’s to Social Services multiple times out of spite, only for Social Services to point out that they could not do anything about Maxwell because he was a ghost. While they could investigate the parents, ghosts of any type were not covered or protected by Social Services. Despite the turmoil, Maxwell never became a troublemaker as deep down he never actually feared his bullies or antagonizers given his abilities and that he was more sensitive to magic than most. In fact, Maxwell would humiliate multiple bullies throughout the years with paranormal pranks, even winning some of them over as friends.
During his teen years Maxwell attempted to get support for his condition as type 4 ghost, but this led nowhere given that the infrastructure of the government institutions relating to education and mental health were effectively built by The Extinction Order – schools and help centers were designed to deflect and gaslight, not actually address education and mental health issues. Maxwell was often walled by the fact that most institutions would not address type 4 ghosts, and schools across the U.S. lacked programs for such individuals. The most Maxwell could ever get was a calculator and extra time on his tests… which he usually did not need. Still, Maxwell kept a stiff upper lip and charged ahead in life, graduating from public schooling with a G.E.D. and moving onto community college to get a bachelor's degree in liberal arts. Maxwell wanted to get into journalism, but started out with simple blue collar jobs to build himself a stable income.
Eventually Maxwell moved on to his journalism career he wanted and wished to talk about mental health, special education, and how growing up as a ghost affected his life. Things were promising at first, and his employers, The Paranormal Times, were all for his articles and opinion pieces, but they quickly ran into problems with the tech industry. The biggest tech giant, Duplex LLC, was aggressively on the side of The Extinction Order. And since The League was making headway against The Extinction Order, Duplex was lashing out wherever they could. Discussion of mental health and adjacent topics were aggressively punished with extreme prejudice, resulting in people often getting "deplatformed," “unpersoned,” and “debanked” by any company, tech company, and website that was merely indexed by Duplex’s web services. Those bending the knee to Duplex that mentioned these topics were merely paying lip service to the masses, and would ban anyone for discussing the topic and have them put on a government watch list if they merely talked about the forbidden subjects, even on official posts on the internet. Eventually this wave of censorial aggression hit The Paranormal Times, causing everyone there to be cut off from their banks and have their websites shut down and deleted.
Many tried to go after Duplex with litigation, but Duplex would always pay to have the cases thrown out with prejudice. The Paranormal Times and their former rival, The Sunday Supernatural, would take their cases all the way to the Supreme Court, but even then Duplex paid the judge to throw the case out with prejudice. This sparked national outrage, with many going to Duplex’s headquarters to protest, but this only resulted in all major tech companies suddenly sponsoring a series of draconian bills that would have destroyed the nation had they persisted. The Extinction Order was giving off its final death rattle thanks to The League, so they tried to pull off one last desperate attempt to establish their new world order. The acts in question would be The Stop The Press Act, The Down With The Constitution Act, The You Must Protect The Children Act, The Freedom Accountability Act, and The Journalist Accountability Act. Elaborating on all of these pieces of legislation would be a waste of time, as their main goal was to establish an authoritarian gridlock that could never be challenged, and anyone who did would face legal retribution and jail time. Over the course of a week these bills were illegally rushed through the government and signed into law, leading to great chaos as society was thrown into utter disarray.
Many people were arrested for speech and expression crimes, and this nearly led to a civil war. Maxwell was one of the ones hit the hardest, as he was subjected to a raid on his countryside childhood home on Bleumoon Hill by the FBI and Homeland Security as a target of Duplex. Maxwell would be beaten over the head with a club by an overly aggressive FBI agent, and his parents went into a frenzy to try and save their son and home. This was particularly bad as Maxwell’s mother had mental conditions that fueled justified paranoia about the government – she believed she was consistently speaking to higher dimensional entities, and given the nature of Universe-03 it was hard to tell if this was truly the case or not. Screams and shouting filled the air as fights broke out, with it feeling like the world was ending right then and there, but this would change when the utterly enraged roars of a type 3 ghost known as Macauley Tobias Burton began assaulting the ears of the federal agents. Chills as cold as death ran down the spines of the agents when a group of them came running out of the woods screaming “RUN!!! IT’S NOT HUMAN!!!” at the top of their lungs…
There had always been tales from the residents of Bleumoon Hill that told of Macauley as a Scottish man who was the first to build a house on the hill back in the late 1700s, having even fended off a battalion of red coats during the Revolutionary War. He was a 7 '8 foot tall giant who lived a surprisingly long life for his time, and he was beyond angry over the invasion of his land by the feds, going into a berserk state where he could not be reasoned with. Many agents were thrown, smashed into the ground, had their skulls bashed in, limbs broken, and some even died of fear as the battle wore on. The ghosts of Macauley’s old townsteaders also returned and took up arms to fend off the invaders as the agents called for backup. Much like how Macauley had fended off the red coats, he had managed to cripple, disable, and/or scare away all of the agents. An entire bearcat was even destroyed by Macauley’s bare hands, his face having turned the reddest it had ever been, with gnashed teeth and popping veins. Relief came when The Liger Brigade showed up, ordering the federal agents to stand down or they would shoot, even pointing their guns at agents who were in desperate need of medical attention.
This incident made the news across the world, as not only had Duplex and The U.S. government angered a type 3 ghost into such an extreme response, they had angered a Scottish type 3 ghost. And on top of that, they had angered a Scottish type 3 ghost who was the rival of the legendary Cú Chulainn in a past life. The Liger Brigade was ready to take Duplex and the government to court no matter how many times they had the case thrown out, but then King Specter intervened, tasking the ghost of Abraham Van Helsing to represent The Liger Brigade, Maxwell, and Macauley. The Abraham of this universe had died at sea, but he was not going to let that stop him from being a lawyer. The Liger Brigade V. Duplex LLC would become one of the most well known court cases for Earth-03, as it paved the way for The League to deal the final blow to The Extinction Order, saw massive government reform, and led to the exposure of many rich elites as members of The Extinction Order. Duplex would be gutted and sold off, and restitution would be paid to Maxwell and his family, on top both The Paranormal Times and The Sunday Supernatural going back into business.
Maxwell by the end of all of that chaos felt like retiring right then and there, feeling like he had seen it all and then some. Abraham and Macauley would encourage him to continue his career, however. As for King Specter, he approached Maxwell about becoming a writer for his royal court – he could still write for The Paranormal Times, he just wanted to employ Maxwell’s talent for his own kingdom. And someone else King Specter wanted was Macauley as a member of his royal court. Macauley was an anomaly across the Prometheus Universe Cluster, and he wanted him desperately. Macauley was on the fence, so Specter got on his knees and begged – stating that he wished he had someone as mighty and no-nonsense as Macauley back in the days of the Epoch. Feeling like his majesty would not leave him alone if he said no, the Scotsman relented and agreed to join the royal court. And given all that the ghostly trio of Universe-03 had gone through, The League proper would designate them as experts on ghosts, alongside notable names such Shigeko Tsukomo, Fianna Pembroke, Caerwyn Briggs, and Yoshie Fujimoto.
Universe-VCXTL9 and Winslow Chad Rivers
Universe-VCXTL9 is a universe off the beaten path in terms of the Prometheus Universe Cluster, and it’s arguable if it is even a part of the cluster to begin with. Regardless, it was never a universe the likes of Karnage Dethgrave and Audoin Dethbrand were interested in, ergo The League proper never got involved with it. The League is present, and an analog to The Extinction Order exists, but their conflict would never escalate to the heights of the more infamous conflicts across the universe cluster. Earth-VCXTL9 had an odd underground magic scene where illicit magic materials derived from witchcraft, shamanism, and plantamancy would be used to create magical hallucinogenic drugs and substances that were traded around. One of the most notable crime syndicates to trade such contraband was known as “The Red Roses,” formerly headed by the crime boss, Kyson Michele Blanchard.
One night while Kyson and his men were having a drink at their preferred bar, Winslow Rivers had one too many drinks and began making fun of his coworkers, including Kyson. Winslow would end up striking a nerve, touching on Kyson’s inability to find a woman on account of his arrogance, so Kyson had the others take Winslow out back and shoot him. Winslow was merely drunk and having a good time, but the man awoke as a very confused ghost who became incredibly angry. Instead of going down the typical path of behaviors most rage ghosts display, he took his former boss to court. Winslow’s lawsuit blew the door wide open on what the underground magic syndicates were up to, allowing The League to bust them up and destroy The Extinction Order of Universe-VCXTL9. This incident caught the attention of The Madman of Old and The Virus God, who resolved to keep an eye on this universe in the off-chance Karnage or Kenneth had been there and left some kind of contingency plan behind. There had been no signs of such a plot, but the two had been fooled before, it was better to be safe than sorry.
