Haze & Chaos - Reunion A Part 6

Previous | First | Next Master Post - Patreon      Weaving his way through his fellow officers and soldiers desperate to get their stations and positions, Antares finally entered the bridge as the fortress shook again. The bridge was a massive room, consisting of a series of wide catwalks above many control and instrument panels, all facing a series of colossal windshields that gave a truly spectacular view of the skies in front of Camelot. The only issue was that there were strange, enemy aircrafts soaring by that view, being fought off by Liger Brigade tiltrotors. Normally the roughly 200 officers and pilots of the bridge would have been peacefully maintaining Camelot’s course, but the attack had them all on edge and on the verge of panic, as only one man and his zeppelin was gutsy enough to attack the sky fortress head on like that… and it had only been a month and a half since his last attack.      Standing on the central platform that oversaw the ...

UMAE 2026 - Will and Sam in the blob pit

Image
Art Page - Master Post - Patreon Before you ask, Will is 30 and Sam is 28 as a human. You know what? This one is fine to upload to the blog. I mean, yeah, obviously my intent is on my sleeves... but let's be real, DA's standards are way too strict. This isn't even PG-13. This is PG at worst. Honestly this is more comedic than anything else given Will's attitude. Oh no, the villains captured the heroes... except Will is being a poor sport about it. This isn't canon to the books, but it could be canon. Universe-23 is weird like that. Maybe I'll canonize it in a future short story to show off the two's magic, or illustrate how Sam is being there for Will on his missions. I don't really have a story for this one other Will-23 and Sam-23 got themselves into trouble and are now sinking into a pit of sticky blobs designed as a booby trap to capture intruders in some facility they had to infiltrate. The two are currently coming up with a plan to escape... desp...

Haze & Chaos - Reunion A Part 5

Previous | First | Next Master Post - Patreon      As he entered a code into the keypad and presented his badge to the scanner, Antares gave a soft groan as the heavy doors to the outer containment cell for ACF-008 slid open. “And that’s the real reason why we don’t do disclosure, Sam. It’s not that people will lose their minds, it’s that people will lose their goddamned minds…”      Sam laughed at that one as they entered the large, rectangular room. There was a slight chill to it, but it was nothing too bothersome. “Excuse me? Could you explain that a little more?”      Antares chuckled as he reengaged the door, but not fully locking it just in case. Bran, and the two guards in black and blue uniforms, could see that the Lt. Colonel was a little stressed, so they waited patiently for him to finish. “No one will be able to behave themselves around alien life. Sure, there are sensible people like us that will give Zarnak a good birthday...

UMAE 2026 - The Goolubber God

Image
Art Page - Master Post - Patreon - - - - - Oh hey, I drew The Goolubber God, a character who will be showing up in ULTRAMagic Haze & Chaos. If you'd like some context to some of her lore, check out these lore entries: Lore Entry 25 , Lore Entry 27 , Lore Entry 28 . The Gods Volume 1 also has information on The Virus God (mentioned below). - - - - - The Goolubber God Dimensional level: 11D Void caller: Zalmarren (Will)      Hermetic gods usually go unnoticed and unnamed in the grand scheme of things. They silently inspire Man to strive for personal perfection and wholeness, except, very few actually open themselves up to them. The revelations Poimandres gave to Hermes Trismegistus are almost always ignored, mocked, belittled, or even written off as mental illness, all the while these same people worship materialism and walk further and further away from the light of God. Many gods simply gave up, as it is not worth teaching those who will not listen. Hermes Trismegi...

UMAE 2026 - Anomalous Planet Dossier 3

Image
Art Page - Master Post - Patreon I figured I'd do another one of these for fun. I'm not quite in the mood to draw at the moment, but at the same time I wanted to upload something. I am planning to draw The Goolubber God soon. Might as well given that I drew a manifestation of her here. Previous | First | Next - - - - - HGMAEX-432 Designations: HG - Hermetic God, MA - Manifestation, EX - Extreme HGMAEX-432 is a member of an alarming group of anomalous planets that are the direct manifestations of a higher dimensional entity, in this case, the manifestation of a hermetic god known as "The Goolubber God." The namesake is not a word, rather it is an original concept created by the god in question. This planet appears to be made of a rubbery, goo-like substance that can be solid and flexible, but also viscous and sticky. This planet does not actually exist, and is just an extension of The Goolubber God. It cannot go beyond being a “planet,” but it can be traveled to an...

Haze & Chaos - Reunion A Part 4

Previous | First | Next Master Post - Patreon      “As Will has no doubt told you by now, Sam, our focus is actually supposed to be extraterrestrial activity,” Antares explained as they entered Reception Area A-X. It was not as populated as the other areas, but there were a few operatives and soldiers in the spacious, comfortable room with some potted plants in the corners. “But given the ongoing conflict with The Eternal Order, it’s been an ‘all hands on deck’ situation. Obviously we’re well equipped to handle magic anomalies, as you’ve no doubt seen by now.”      “Oh yes, absolutely,” Sam acknowledged. “Although in hindsight I’m surprised I didn’t see any Ligers in Nightsalem City back before The Tyrant War kicked up…”      “Well we do have Gemini active in New York City as a way of making sure nothing spills over from The Unlight,” Antares pointed out. “Speaking of which, Will, they’re dying to see you again, especially after the obv...

Haze & Chaos - Reunion A Part 3

Previous | First | Next Master Post - Patreon      Antares Briggs was sitting at his mildly messy desk, grumbling about the paperwork he had to fill out, going back and forth between his work, the computer, and his tea. Being rapidly promoted to Lt. Colonel following what came after The Red River City Incident had its perks, but he did not foresee all of the busyness that would come along with it… Leaning back in his chair to rest his mind for a second, he sipped his herbal tea and looked around his office. It was spacious, but not terribly big, sharing the mildly utilitarian, yet futuristic aesthetic of Camelot. The Frutiger Aero-inspired decor was always pleasing to the eyes, reminding him and Will of simpler times. Glancing at the futuristic monitor with its, bright, curved OLED display detailing the forms he still needed to fill out, he leaned back in with a sigh. And then his office phone went off…      “Lt. Colonel, you have a call on line 2…” a ...
