Unlike those ships, however, the sky deck was more similar to an airport runway. Due to the nature of Camelot being at high altitudes on a regular basis, the sky deck was used less for take offs and rather for landings. And one of the current entities to land was the very unwelcome hydra-class shadow construct. It was a black and red serpent at forty feet tall, completely metallic, and had three heads that roared and fired lasers from their mouths. And it was durable too, standing up to fire from the tiltrotors and a fly by from Shaye and Ahhotep. No soldiers were present on the sky deck as only a mad man would be ballsy enough to try fighting up there while Camelot was high up in the sky. Once things were safe enough, Morrigan rushed over to the black and red, metal and glass craft as she had caught enough of a glimpse of it. “Hold on! Previous | First | Next Master Post - Patreon      Weaving his way through his fellow officers and soldiers desperate to get their stations and positions, Antares finally entered the bridge as the fortress shook again. The bridge was a massive room, consisting of a series of wide catwalks above many control and instrument panels, all facing a series of colossal windshields that gave a truly spectacular view of the skies in front of Camelot. The only issue was that there were strange, enemy aircrafts soaring by that view, being fought off by Liger Brigade tiltrotors. Normally the roughly 200 officers and pilots of the bridge would have been peacefully maintaining Camelot’s course, but the attack had them all on edge and on the verge of panic, as only one man and his zeppelin was gutsy enough to attack the sky fortress head on like that… and it had only been a month and a half since his last attack.      Standing on the central platform that oversaw the ...

I mean, yeah, obviously my intent is on my sleeves... but let's be real, DA's standards are way too strict. This isn't even PG-13. This is PG at worst. Honestly this is more comedic than anything else given Will's attitude. Oh no, the villains captured the heroes... except Will is being a poor sport about it. This isn't canon to the books, but it could be canon. Universe-23 is weird like that. Maybe I'll canonize it in a future short story to show off the two's magic, or illustrate how Sam is being there for Will on his missions.
