Haze & Chaos - Reunion B Part 8

Previous | First | Next Master Post - Patreon      Both groups converged on the chamber of the fragment with ease, as it appeared that the original architects were not one for games. It was quite surprising how straightforward the path was–which indicated that Perkele had not properly familiarized himself with the layout of the structure. The chamber itself was large like the rest, and looked like it was a hall of reverence and the burial site for the warriors who had fought to keep the irreverent from abusing the power of the mad flame. Open, stone coffins lined the walls with armored mummies lying in them with their arms crossed. Their armor was unlike anything the group had seen, but felt weirdly plausible given that the armor was segmented and plate-based. The warriors themselves were very much alive–contrary to their withered states, as their glowing green eyes had temporarily shifted away from the conflict at hand to keep an eye on Will and Haze (which creeped t...

Haze & Chaos - Reunion B Part 7

Previous | First | Next Master Post - Patreon      “Alright… I think we’re good…” Will said with a shaky voice as he looked around the seemingly empty and roomy chamber. Pulsing lines of light in the walls and ceiling illuminated the room with a soft white glow–and across the walls were more of the story of the battles against the mad flame cultists. These ones presented the quandaries presented by the encroaching Void Era that spurned the cultists into their fervor. The concerns were valid, but the solutions the cultists presented through silvered words were not. “Geez, looks like some things never change…” Will remarked as he studied the carvings. “Did we see who else ended up with us?”      Morrigan took a second to think, her mind finally settling down. “I think I saw the others get stuck with Ripsaw and Esteri–definitely.” she then adjusted her armor, as one of her pauldrons had loosened.      “Liss and Akaya too?” Yale questioned....

ULTRAMagic Archive - Special 1 - Voidcallers Vol 1

Previous | First | Next Master Post - Patreon      Here is a list of voidcallers, their patrons, and their spells (if they have audible ones). The ever powerful void magic–rare as it is in modernity–still creates some of the most powerful mages to ever exist. Currently only gods 10D and higher (or equivalent to) can take on voidcallers. Pure Gods typically do not take on Voidcallers, and there are void magic capable gods who are not interested in void magic. And while this list does contain minor spoilers, all of this is information you are intended to find out one way or another. The Abyss God Dimension: 10D Class: Demigod Alignment: Independent Voidcaller: Spells: (Unknown) Details: Upon reincarnating into the modern phase of The Cosmos, The Abyss of Old became a god. It is unclear how this happened. Currently studying under The Dread God before he is allowed to take on a voidcaller The Alkainting God Dimension: ?D (Possibly 12D) Class: Bizarre God Alignment: Thrert...

Haze & Chaos - Reunion B Part 6

Previous | First | Next Master Post - Patreon      With her armor ready to go, Morrigan clenched her fists to make sure it was nice and secure and headed downstairs to the lobby. It seemed like they were going to head right out the door, meaning that she was not going to get to eat breakfast–which was unfortunate due to Morrigan being a morning person. Entering the lobby she was greeted by the sight of Will, Vlastimir, and Ekaterina talking to Milan and Yale. Will smiled when she entered, and she noticed he was eating something–he handed her what looked like a candy bar at first glance. “What’s this, Boyo?”      “An army-grade energy bar–your best friend on missions.”      Morrigan inspected the shiny brown packaging and nodded. “Oh, okay–and cran-raspberry too?”      “Cranberry is your favorite, isn’t it?”      She smiled, patted his shoulder, and gave it a light shake. “Thanks, Boyo.”    ...

Haze & Chaos - Reunion B Part 5

Previous | First | Next Master Post - Patreon      Yale was restless that night on account of the unpleasant memories that flooded back into his head of the battle between The Liger Brigade and The Death Knell Coven that took place in his old forest. What was once an undiscovered forest deep within the reaches of the European continent had become a battlefield when The Death Knell Coven had started logging it for their profane magic practices. And then came the fire and smoke, destroying the beautiful forest Yale once called home. There would be no more pleasant afternoons listening to the birds sing their songs, no peaceful sunsets lighting up the horizon with a relaxing orange glow, and no more guiding wayward travelers back to civilization. All of it was taken away from Yale in the blink of an eye–and he nearly lost his mind, on the cusp becoming primal until Milan had discovered him all those years ago.      Yale had always been fairly tight-lipped...
