Once the dragon’s passenger hopped off, it reverted back into a beautiful woman in an elegant coat who was accompanied by a quirky man in formal attire. Aava Janzen-Caden and Mind-Wraith Caden had returned from their journey to the border of The Deep Realm of Chaos after needing to assist the Discordant Gods Nacht and Paradoxos with something that concerned the two in regards to the Lost Era. He had a relatively comfortable sleep, but at the same time his teeth felt uncomfortable and he was a tad overheated from the warmth of his thick, piled up blankets. There was an underlying feeling of anxiety as he had work to do that day. He unburied himself from the mound of bedding, brushed his messy blonde hair out of his face (he was in need of a haircut), and trudged his way across his bedroom in The Dark Divers Guild Hall. This is a very special story that serves to explain what happened right before ULTRAMagic Prelude in regards to the plans of Leif (The Dragon of Old) and a certain someone had to stop The Lich of Old. Let’s just say that the overall plans were not perfect and we are about to meet a special ar’ton we all know and love, seeing what he was like long before he became the man he is now. Not only that, but we will finally get a glimpse into the enigmatic Dark Divers Guild. This will be a short book, only a novelette in length, but will greatly expand the scope of ULTRAMagic Alternate as a whole.
