Prior to the arrival of Scotty, things had been quiet and calm, leading to the guild never really having a cause for celebration like the one they had been presented with. The members were easy going and laid back, but now they felt truly rallied and united. The Eternal Order was not going to be content with going after The Unlight. This was no cause for celebration, as Scotty was certain that Damien was planning something and even spoke with the other Azoth Mages to validate his suspicions. And Scotty was proven right when word had come in from The Highway Knight that he had spotted Damien at The Forsaken Labyrinth, which stood at the border between the Dark Void and the True Abyss. The Highway Knight had engaged Damien as the miscreant was attempting to find a portal to Universe-23 and had located the gateway in question, but thankfully Leif, Mind-Wraith, and Aava had shown up just in the nick of time. Previous | First | Next Master Post - Patreon      Mind-Wraith was running circles around Damien now that he knew what he was dealing with. In the past Damien must have been a real bully of a fighter, brash and going for attacks that sought to overwhelm his opponent, but now he was just a bog-standard brute who used offense as his defense. Instead of exchanging blows, Mind-Wraith outright refused to let Damien get in a successful attack. Wind blast after wind blast assaulted the knight while Aava would launch boulders at Damien. In this chaos Damien began screaming every time he was pushed back or denied, raging like an egomaniac about to start beating up his house because he could not get his way. Leif was beginning to see why Aava had grown so concerned in the last battle as these fights were definitely bringing Damien back to proper consciousness.
