Introduction:
Reality Errors are a phenomenon that occurs when The Unlight bleeds into a conventional universe and creates a unique realm within realms that connect to both the universe in question and The Unlight. These realms are not supposed to exist, and become liminal reflections of reality that can hold untold wonders and horrors. This phenomenon is not limited to The Unlight’s interaction with the Cosmos, however. It is entirely possible for Reality Errors to form from the result of Heaven, Inferno, The Realm of Chaos, Purgatory, or even other Cosmos entirely. And while Reality Errors can be found in the more structured regions of a universe, they are most frequent in the outer reaches of a universe, where the barrier between the universe and the void of the multiverse is thin. While danger is abound in these realms and it is just as easy to get lost in them, it is entirely possible and expected to apply the conventional knowledge of Reality Errors to maneuver them and learn more about reality as a whole.
What are Irregular Reality Errors specifically?
The key difference between normal Reality Errors and Irregular Reality Errors is that normal Reality Errors must form from The Unlight and no other realm. If they form from realms such as Inferno or The Realm of Chaos, they are classified as Irregular Reality Errors. The realms that have been observed manifesting Irregular Reality Errors include Inferno, Heaven, The Realm of Chaos, Purgatory, The Commercialverse, The Dream Realm, and other Cosmos. Irregular Reality Errors cannot form from Overflow Realms, IGL Universes, The Lost Era, and regions beyond the 13th dimension. Overflow Realms are just extensions of the realm they originate from in question, IGL Universes connect to both types of Reality Errors, The Lost Era did not allow for these realms to form, and beyond 13D cannot be reached through conventional means. It should be noted that while there is a distinction between the Reality Errors and their Irregular counterparts, both are often just referred to as “Reality Errors.”
An interesting quirk of Irregular Reality Errors as they tend to take on the elemental affinities of the realm they originate from. Reality Errors from Inferno typically have the properties of fire and darkness, Heaven-based ones have the properties of wind and light, The Realm of Chaos creates Earth-based Reality Errors, and Purgatory leads to water-based Reality Errors. Inferno and Heaven’s effects on Reality Errors are easy to figure out, but The Realm of Chaos and Purgatory are a little more esoteric. For Reality Errors based on The Realm of Chaos, it is widely agreed that Chaos needs form to define itself, which is why it prefers Earth. And when one has form, Chaos can perpetuate ad infinitum. Purgatory is aligned with the concept of Order, and when Order demands form and structure, it tends to lose its sense of self in the pursuit of its goals. On the other hand, water is soothing and reflective and allows one to slow down and think, leading to Order. Reality Errors born from The Dream Realm and The Commercialverse are more vague in their affinity, but Dream Realm Reality Errors share the potential of creativity and Commercialverse-based Reality Errors tend to behave akin to the rules of The Commercialverse.
What is the Outer Universe?
Being one of the most common places for Irregular Reality Errors to appear, The Outer Universe is always a bit nebulous based on the scientific capabilities of the civilization observing it. These regions almost always consist of spread-out galactic filaments that border the void of the multiverse, or the Outer Void itself in certain cases. Every universe has a barrier known as the “outer barrier” that prevents their stars, planetary bodies, and similar objects from spilling out and disintegrating the universe. They exist well beyond what is typically defined as the “observable universe” given that most civilizations do not have the technology to see that far. The fact that most civilizations rely on light traveling to them to observe the universe also hinders any research into what is beyond the “observable universe.” Some civilizations have access to highly advanced telescopes (usually making use of arcane or higher dimensional technology) that allow them to see what is going on in the now, but the Outer Universe still remains tricky to parse.
The Outer Universe is almost always impossible to reach with conventional propulsion technology, and most civilizations never develop the technology to bridge the gap (progress is usually halted by politics, ideology, and people constantly hurling around accusations such as “scientific misinformation,” “conspiracy theories,” and/or “dangerous pseudoscience”). Civilizations usually need help from magic, miracle scientific breakthroughs, or divine intervention to gain the ability to merely leave their solar system due to the expansion of the universe – which is often overblown due to most civilizations conflating it with unaccounted-for forces, but is still an obstacle to overcome regardless. Those that are able to travel to the Outer Universe discover that life is sparse and unique due to conditions being generally unfavorable for life to arise. They also discover that the Outer Barrier is not perfect and it is very easy to leave and enter the universe. And because the conditions are so loose and fluid, there are a wealth of Reality Errors that form in these regions.
A great deal of Reality Error research is possible thanks to the Outer Universe, and this often becomes a stepping stone for many civilizations, allowing them to traverse their universe with ease and travel to realms beyond, easily making it past the Eldritch Barrier. A lot of these civilizations go on to partner with The Multiverse Patrol, expanding the reach and capabilities of the organization. Civilizations who make it past the Eldritch Barrier that go rogue are rare, but occur nonetheless. Thankfully many of them become lost in Irregular Reality Errors thinking that they have found another universe to conquer, with the survivors emerging as changed men who either return to their universes to live quiet lives or go on to join The Multiverse Patrol to redeem themselves. Either way, these incidents also help expand the knowledge of The Multiverse Patrol and The League proper as a whole.
Notable Irregular Reality Errors
Will-23’s Dream Reality Error
Dreams have a high potential to manifest Reality Errors and are often the most stable while being the most unpredictable. RE-WF23 is such a Reality Error based on a combination of dreams from Specialist William Ford II of Universe-23. Located on Sunset Hill just outside of Witchaven, if Will walks to a special place in the woods, he will find himself in a clearing flanked by woods on all sides in a rectangular-shaped field that will always be in early twilight with an incredibly large, skull-like moon in the sky – the field resembles the one of his childhood home, and surrounded by a few trees and bushes is an absolutely luxurious 5th-wheel trailer with electricity and running water where Will can relax. It has all sorts of movies to watch and games to play, with a special video game console possessing a futuristic, Frutiger Aero aesthetic (with black, off-white, and navy blue as its colors) being the main media player. Nicknamed the “Dream Station X,” it has several horizontal bar-style menus with vertical drop down menus, with all sorts of bizarre games from across the Dream Realm, with a further index-based menu of its downloaded content that resembles a Satellite TV guide set to dark mode with silver, black, and blue colors. The controller is also nice and bulky, ergonomic, and a pleasure to hold.
Will can only get to this Reality Error when he is tired and ready to go to bed, wandering out into the woods at early twilight. Specifically he needs to duck under a strange fallen tree that takes him down a path that is familiar yet undiscovered, walking past surreal trees that form a unique realm in and of itself, guided by the signs left by familiar tree spirits such as those hailing from The Unending Forest. After maneuvering his way past a colossal pitch pine with a wide trunk, Will will find himself in the field, and knows he will be there when he sees the moon. The 5th wheel will be present, and he will spend the night, remaining there for what feels like a couple of days. For the longest time Will would go into a dream-like state, but ever since going to The Unlight he has been able to go to the Reality Error whenever he wants, and remains fully lucid. While the Reality Error is off the beaten path and no one else can really find it except for Will, Sam, and the others connected to Will, entities such as The Zombie God have been known to lurk there...

The Zombie God’s Reality Error
The Zombie God has access to a Dream Realm-based Reality Error that is connected to her original Commercial Universe where she resides when not out and about or staying at the Obsidian Hexecontahedron. This realm, dubbed RE-ZG01, resembles an Earth consisting mainly of forests and abandoned buildings in a perpetual state of sunset, with a dull blue sky transitioning into sunset orange and clouds of indigo and pink. Geometric shapes made of a strange light-based substance hover far above in the atmosphere, but it is unclear what they do as they seem to be Dream Realm constructs. The Reality Error is remarkably similar to Orion Ford’s menger sponge universe, Universe-SP42Z, and many have wondered if it connects to SP42Z. It has been confirmed that RE-ZG01 connects to RE-WF23, of which WF23 is known to connect to SP42Z given that Orion was adopted by Will and Sam.
On an interesting note, The Zombie God seems to be at peace in this Reality Error, and will not attack or plot against anyone who visits her there – treating it like how The Lost Enndell-Enndell God wants The Obsidian Hexecontahedron to be treated. The Zombie God’s friends can also be found here, including Darla, her friends, and The Xanthous King. The Alkainting God also has a tendency to show up so that he can catch up with his daughter given that she is almost always traveling around. Volf Blitz and Gudrun Holzknecht naturally show up, but also The Sepulcher God and The Decay God. While The Sepulcher God is not supposed to leave The Night Realm as per the agreement set up by Raziel, RE-ZG01 was added to that deal by Raziel at the behest of The Tyrant God (with Raziel agreeing). The Tyrant God has been using this realm to talk to The Sepulcher God, and they seem to be slowly resolving their issues, despite their disparate ideals.
Relevant Individuals and Reality Errors:
Faolán Craddock
The eldest brother of Weaver and Grimwald Craddock had quite the adventure after fleeing his universe with Weaver, and their cousin, Torunn Craddock. The two Craddock’s lost track of Faolán, and that is because he was pulled aside by Lief–The Dragon of Old for training and to help him take care of something. Leif sensed ULTRAMagic potential in Faolán on account of him being blessed by The Beast of Old and wanted him to join The ULTRAMagic Guild when it finally formed in the second phase of the Cosmos. Leif would show Faolán an Inferno-based Reality Error connected to Universe-CER22 and Universe-22, where an authoritarian mega corporation known as The Zeta Corporation from Earth-CER22 was attempting to invade other Earths. This Reality Error resembled a colossal, monumentalist city suspended above a void of what appeared to be fire and darkness, dubbed Reality Error–I2222. Leif would help Faolán achieve ULTRAMagic so he could potentially take on a super-cyborg known as Codename SMASHER.
Codename SMASHER was developed by The Zeta Corporation to be a super weapon that could enforce their agenda with an iron fist and eliminate anyone who stood in their way, even the innocent and defenseless. Sadly even with ULTRAMagic and his electricity-based beast powers, Faolán was still no match for someone like SMASHER. Leif was no longer available for help, so Faolán had to get creative. Instead of trying to stop SMASHER or seal off Universe-CER22, Faolán would seal off the entrance to The Unlight within RE-I2222 so The Zeta Corporation could not enter The Unlight, and he could wait until The ULTRAMagic Guild was at full power. Leif had also left Torunn with a map so she and Weaver could easily find Faolán when he was ready for them. The two would actually find their relative fairly quickly, and Faolán would be an in and out member of The ULTRAMagic Guild helping out The Beast of Old. Once the guild had enough of its most famous members, Faolán would call on Weaver and Torunn to help him scout things out RE-I2222. What they did not expect was that someone from Universe-22 had already dealt with the Universe-CER22 problem. What they found instead lurking within the depths of The Reality Error was vastly more concerning, unrelated to Universe-CER22 or Universe-22…
Leofstan Mulder, Reginald Pickaway, and Grandfather Oak
These three individuals are Tree People hailing from The Unending Forest found within The Unlight, and are members of a special guild dedicated to keeping an eye on Reality Errors known as The Forest Watchers Guild. This guild works closely with The Central Unlight Explorers Guild and The ULTRAMagic Guild. Typically these three Tree People focus on Reality Errors of all kinds that pop up in relation to Universe-23, 15, and 0X – and Universe-17 and 0Z have also become of interest to them given that Will-17 and Grimwald Craddock have found their way to The Unending Forest. Leofstan, Reginald, and Oak have become well known for their antics, but also their ability to handle any issues that come their way. They are often called upon by the various tribes and townsteads of The Unending Forest to settle disputes and handle interlopers.
The three Tree People are powerful mages, on par with Sigmund Willfort, the leader of the Tree People famous for his ULTRAMagic and training under Ealdhelm Thorne. Leofstan is a Pitch Pine who focuses on gunnrmancy, channeling his magic through his guns, with shotguns being his preferred weapons. His main guns are a double-barreled shotgun, a pump-action shell-fed shotgun, and a buckshot shotgun. He also uses a 121.6cc 41 inch chainsaw as a sword through enhancement with his magic, but in actuality this is his chainsaw used for clean-up and landscaping of The Unending Forest. He has been told time and time again that using his chainsaw as a sword is dangerous, but he often does not care. Reginald Pickaway is a Silver Maple who is a skilled soul magic mage who has mastered the four classical elements and combines them with ease to catch his opponents off guard. While not a gunnrmancer, he has been known to channel his magic through his longsword which he maintains and keeps nice and tidy on a regular basis. Grandfather Oak is the group’s resourceful and patient medic, with powerful defensive and healing magic always ready to patch up the other two.
These three are good friends despite coming from disparate origins as trees. They each bounce off each other and are always there for each other no matter what, getting the job done and then going to have a pint after work is done for the day. Leofstan is the kind of man who plays hard rock on the radio while working and shows off his chainsaw with a glee as he works on cutting down a dead tree at risk of falling, Reginald is the brains and planning behind all of the trio’s endeavors while making sure his sword is spotless, and Grandfather Oak is always there to tell stories to the children and teach them about things they need to know in life. Despite their cavalier and good-natured attitudes, the three have encountered many issues that have tested their patience and mettle. Recent incidents caused by the war between The League and The Lost Darkness God have elicited groans from them, but there is not much they can do about it other than deal with the issue at hand and respond accordingly.
Baron Nikola Wrath and Dr. Night
Leofstan has an archrival in the form of Baron Nikola Wrath. Nikola is a nuclear-powered super-cyborg created by The Dynamo Corporation of Universe-22, and appears to be the Sebastian Friedrich III of Universe-22. The Metal Titan Project was an attempt by The Dynamo Corporation to match the power of The Titan of Old, specifically Atlas and his brothers. While they fell short, they created a super soldier who could eliminate their competition. The Dynamo Corporation was involved in “The Peace Race,” in which countries and corporations around the world were trying to establish world peace in the quickest way possible, which ended up being anything but peaceful. Many of them resorted to authoritarianism, bioweapons, and doomsday weapons, but The Dynamo Corporation sought to end The Peace Race once and for all by going after the aggressors. Their main target was The Extinction Order, of which those reviled rogues had not accounted for The Peace Race and could not control it no matter how many economies they crashed.
The Metal Titan project is famous for two things: The Apocalypse Reactor that powers Nikola, and The Tomahawk Protocol AI, which taps into Nikola’s magic to power The Apocalypse Reactor. The Tomahawk Protocol is an end-all be-all AI that directly responds to Nikola’s thoughts and executes them accordingly, with no possibility for external tampering – It was built on unique computing architecture with no government backdoors, which put The Dynamo Corporation on The FBI’s radar. In response to the repeated raids and probes from the FBI, The Dynamo Corporation had Nikola destroy The FBI Headquarters as a show of might. The technology Nikola was sporting also attracted the attention of the president of the United States of the time, but this was an attempt to recruit Nikola to fuel his proxy wars in the middle east. Nikola took great offense to this and personally went to The White House to assassinate the president, with his famous line before he blasted the pathetic man to atoms being “You’ve been impeached, Mr. President.”
In regards to the Apocalypse Reactor, it is a deuterium-tritium fusion reactor which sources its fuel from Nikola’s Philosopher's Stone. Nikola is a master alchemist despite his pride and lust for power, and how his alchemy never rejected him is up for debate, but it is widely believed that he rejected an offer from Karnage Dethgrave and one of his lackeys in a refusal to bend the knee to someone who would destroy his way of life. While Nikola is an authoritarian, he is not a sadist – He believes the state is God and that it is his duty to protect his people and point them in the right direction. To him, might makes right, but only if it furthers the growth of mankind. He is a ruthless general of a leader who believes in survival of the fittest, but he will not leave his people behind. He will make sure those he is sworn to protect are fit by the end of the day, and they will claim their birthright as the greatest civilization that ever lived come hell or high water.
Both The Tomahawk Protocol and Apocalypse Reactor were spearheaded by Doctor Night, an ACF researcher who escaped the chaos of Universe-X090X. Dr. Night split from a corrupt researcher who was one of the more infamous members of the chain of command for the old X090X ACF. This researcher had many misconduct allegations against him, in addition to accusations of murder, racketeering, drug trafficking, piracy, fraud… and one moving violation. The original Dr. Night (whose name has been lost) was in the middle of a trial when Schwarzes escaped, and was not present when Schwarzes started wiping people from existence. The chaos allowed Dr. Night to escape from his original body, and he killed that original researcher off so he could escape his past. Dr. Night had two reasons for the extreme response, the first being he knew carrying on as his original self would destroy his reputation all over again, but also because he loathed what he originally was. His original self was a sleazy dirtbag who only cared about fame and fortune – it went against Dr. Night’s ethos, which was to achieve greater and greater heights in the field of science.
Dr. Night was so thorough in erasing his old self through several anomalies contained by The ACF that it actually made it difficult for the victim of the original to seek justice – on one hand the old researcher was gone for good, but on the other, records of some of the victims have been legitimately lost forever, requiring assistance from The Time Watchers to track down. Nikola would find out about Dr. Night’s past during The Metal Titan Program, as Dr. Night was a little reckless and some information slipped through the smallest of cracks imaginable. Nikola would quietly hold Dr. Night accountable for his past actions, forcing him to make several changes to The Tomahawk Protocol – It was based on The Void Protocol and quite powerful, but it lacked something Nikola felt The Apocalypse Reactor needed. These changes were the integration of Nikola’s Philosopher Stone, which would allow him to create the fuel the reactor needed.
Nikola has been known to use Dr. Night’s past against him to achieve his ends, but the two have been slowly becoming friends, as Dr. Night still retains his old desires for money and status. The two clash personality-wise, but that has led to them calming down as time goes on, becoming more sensible and reasonable. Dr. Night was infamous for messing with Nikola at first, sabotaging his machinery and giving him false information, but slowly the two realized they were not so different. Both men wanted to achieve greatness, and no cost was too great for them. The ends did not justify the means, but they were willing to see how close they could get to the limit in the pursuit of their goals. They yearned for greatness, but were not stupid – they knew if they rocked the boat too hard it would tip over. A mentality they both shared was their rejection of the notion that good guys always finished last, as to them it was the mantra of a coward. Nikola and Night knew they could become the embodiment of all that is good and just, and would finish first to prove the naysayers wrong.
Leofstan had encountered Nikola when the cyborg he had wandered into an Irregular Reality Error that was too close to The Unending Forest. Leofstan, Reginald, and Oak chased him back to Earth-22 after the Antares Briggs of that universe went looking for help and found the trio. The Dynamo Corporation had been researching Reality Errors after another corporation from Universe-CER22 tried to use them to invade Earth-22. Nikola had to fend off a similar super cyborg to him, which prompted The Dynamo Corporation to begin research beyond the Eldritch Barrier. Leofstan and Nikola would end up fighting across several universes by accident, including Universe-CER22, Universe-FF07, and Universe-0X. Through their clashes they learned a lot about where each other came from, leading to The Dynamo Corporation forming an uneasy alliance with The League and their member organizations.
The aforementioned super-cyborg known as Codename SMASHER showed up for revenge against Nikola during Leofstan’s first pursuit, causing the fight to head over Universe-CER22, of which SMASHER was already battling an impromptu super-cyborg by the codename of APEX, who was leading a ragtag band of anarchist freedom fighters against The Zeta Corporation (who had created Codename APEX as a SMASHER prototype). Nikola and Lefostan would have to fight together to combat SMASHER, killing him by the end of the bout and inadvertently saving the lives of the freedom fighters. Reginald and Oak would hang back to try and fix up Earth-CER22 given that SMASHER’s death sent The Zeta Corporation into chapter 7 bankruptcy. Earth-CER22 had also witnessed something beyond their wildest dreams in the fight between Loefstan, Nikola, and SMASHER, which further led to the magic awakening of Earth-CER22, despite it being a corporate, surveillance state nightmare of an Earth.
Nikola needed to get back to Earth-22, but also had to get away from Leofstan. Using another Irregular Reality Error (RE-H333), he ended up in Universe-FF07, an Earth with prominent magical forests being attacked by the dying remains of an evil empire. The Undead Shuck from Universe-21HTP was already there as a part of his redemption – that being to help out the forest denizens by destroying the old tower of the evil empire. Leofstan and Nikola’s battle had no regards for the tower, and they destroyed a good portion of it leading to its collapse, forcing The Undead Shuck to pivot to rescuing anyone the ancient queen and evil archmage of the tower had kidnapped and held prisoner.
The final leg of the battle would see Nikola and Leofstan head to Universe-0X, where they would clash across the European continent. Lenn Giraud was present at the headquarters of the PMRDO talking to Milosh when he saw the chaos and intervened – he recognized Nikola as a super-cyborg that had shown up on Earth-16 during the aftermath of Atlas’ rebellion. Lenn, Milosh, and Fausta would work to quell the fighting, but it would be the retired Colonel Thunder Furnace of Fortschritt that would end the fight, given that Leofstan and Nikola had begun using the clashes to really test their mettle against each other. Naturally Lenn would go complain to The Multiverse Patrol about the recklessness of Leofstan, only to get shot down by Sir Robrecht. Thunder Furnace would call on the board of directors and CEO of The Dynamo Corporation, and Sigmund would bring in The Council of The Forest to sit down with The Dynamo Corporation and talk things over, leading to the corporation becoming an honorary member organization of The League proper (despite their questionable history).
The agreement was an uneasy one, but The Dynamo Corporation had invaluable boots-on-the-ground knowledge of Reality Errors and various versions of Earths that attempted to abuse them – Earths that had been corrupted by Karnage Dethgrave. Earth-22 had resisted the temptations of The Lost Darkness God and were stronger for it. Anton Bloodthresher was on the fence given that Nikola reminded him too much of the man he once was as Milosh and himself back in The Requiem Cosmos before he had come to his senses, but he had to concede that Nikola, Dr. Night, and their superiors would help in the fight against The Lost Darkness God. He had been working with the upper echelons of The Eternal Order for multiple issues beyond his scope, so he was in no position to reject the help of The Dynamo Corporation. In regards to Leofstan, while he received a massive dressing down from Sigmund, he was commended for his tenacity which helped bring The Dynamo Corporation into the fold.
Naoise Kovac
Naoise hails from the same Commercial Universe as The Zombie God, being one of the heroes that dealt with her original form. He had discovered both RE-ZG01 and RE-WF23, and concluded that he needed to go out and make sure The Zombie God was not causing trouble – of which his friends tried to convince him he should not venture out, but his mind was made up. Trajan Bellator was in support of this as the lad was becoming a proper man in his eyes, so he created a human form and identity for the boy so he could maneuver the Cosmos with ease without getting stopped for autographs and potentially revealing who The Zombie God was. This would lead to the creation of Naoise Kovac, a happy-go-lucky explorer who was polite to a tee and would not give up no matter what. Naoise expected to run into The Eternal Order and deal with them given what he had heard about what The Zombie God had been up to, but he was promptly caught off guard by what he actually encountered.
Universe-19XVZ is a fairly chaotic universe off the beaten path, and their Earth saw the rise of group calling themselves The Coalition of Order and Safety (colloquially “The Coalition”) – born from a rogue collective of Attorney Generals who sought to establish control of the planet in the name of The Extinction Order by demanding that every website submit to mass surveillance and identity checks, nearly leading to World War III as NATO, BRICS, and The U.N. were brought to heel. The Coalition was stopped by The League of that universe, but that did not stop The Coalition from continuing to exist and causing trouble. They would eventually come into contact with The Society of The People’s Army (The SPA) from Universe-21ACVS, a similar organization The Coalition. Both organizations were aware that Naoise was in league with Trajan, a member of The League proper, so they attempted to hold Naoise under investigation. Thankfully Sir Robrecht and Lenn were aware and able to stop the two organizations from harassing Naoise. Lenn caused more trouble than he helped, but he still contributed a great deal to Naoise’s defense.
Naoise knew something wasn’t right with The Society of The People’s Army, and with help from Captain-General Aurelius Sanseverino had discovered that The SPA were capturing and petrifying people with the potential for ULTRAMagic across the Cosmos – Gudrun Holzknecht was also suspicious of The SPA as she recognized their MO given that it was what she was doing in part across The Commercialverse. While Trajan and Soren were not pleased with Gudrun, they recognized that The SPA was the bigger threat. The Zombie God had also been looking into The SPA for some time under the suspicion they were working with Rambert Roijakkers, and helped Naoise locate the Irregular Reality Error within the purgatory region where they were keeping the mages (Reality Error-P0101). This fight would be handed over to The ULTRAMagic Guild of which Eloise Ter Avest (ULTRAMagic Elize-Rex) would lead the charge to save the mages. The guild had notably lost a group of mages investigating this issue to capture and petrification, consisting of Walter Nithercott (ULTRAMagic Walker), Baldr Graystone (ULTRAMagic Boulder), Olve Lind (ULTRAMagic Frost), Elias Pachis (ULTRAMagic Hoplite), and Gregory Shane Thompson (ULTRAMagic Vindicta).
Prince Ealdberht Waldemar Aldershoff
A notable Reality Error is RE-204DTAQ, where a friend of Isador Payton, Prince Ealdberht Aldershoff, hails from. This Reality Error is a liminal, medieval Europe-based realm that connects to Universe-23, 16, 21HTP, 21ACVS, 18XVE, 19XVZ, 14CSV, CCXL9, and X090X. It further overlaps with The Unlight, The Realm of Chaos, and Purgatory – The land is made from the Realm of Chaos, the oceans flow in from Purgatory, and the magic comes from The Unlight. The prominent story of this Reality Error is the conflict between the Kingdom of Axenaad and The Gadian Empire – the latter wishes to expand its domain across the Eastern Continent, but the former refuses to bend the knee, and Gadia does not want to start a war with Axenaad. Surprisingly this conflict has little, if anything, to do with the machinations of Karnage Dethgrave and The Lost Darkness God, and appears to be an organic conflict based on the growing needs of the kingdoms that inhabit the Reality Error.
Despite the isolation from the conflict between The League and The Lost Darkness god, Prince Ealdberht has ventured out into The Cosmos Proper. One universe he visited was Universe-21ACVS, as some of the vampires from that universe tried to establish a foothold in his Reality Error. They were driven out, but it still warranted looking into. With assistance from Isador given that The League was concerned given that the vampires had ties to the ones from Universe-21HTP, the prince would explore Earth-21ACVS where he would meet a vampire hunter by the name of Takumi Blade. Sadly Takumi was a bit rude and dismissive, hurting Ealdberht's feelings. Ultimately the prince would leave Universe-21ACVS, as he was not going to teach those who refused to learn in his eyes, but Isador was having none of this nonsense and went straight to Takumi and jumped down his throat and then some. He ended up making Takumi cry, and after talking things over ice cream and soda and several vampire hunts, Takumi would be welcomed as a new friend of Isador and Ealdberht.
A Quick message from The Dead God
“Hey everyone! Didn’t expect to see me here, did you? Well I’ve got a friend who lives in Reality Error… what was it… Oh good lord he’s here and getting mad at me – RE-AG452, that’s right! It’s a Dream Realm-based Reality Error and the home of The Author God, and he just found out something about Will and his work… and well, I’ll just relay what he has to say to you. Ahem: ‘REALLY?!?! THOSE LITIGIOUS BASTARDS ACTUALLY CAUSED HIM TO CENSOR HIS WORK!? Ghostverse Beyond?! Fire Ladder Company 10?! BLOODRAGE?! ARE YOU ACTUALLY KIDDING ME!?! THEY’RE CULTURAL REFERENCES… WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE CAN STILL GET INTO LEGAL TROUBLE!? THIS IS BECAUSE OF THAT RAT BASTARD, KARNAGE, ISN’T!? That piece of garbage should have been erased the minute he became The Behemoth God – GOD COULD HAVE DONE IT TO! This nonsense makes me want to go join The Eternal Order… NO, I’M NOT ACTUALLY GOING TO JOIN THE ETERNAL ORDER! Who’s idea was it to have Zalmarren incarnate into the Cosmos proper? WHO?! Was no one paying attention when his Epoch-Modernity Transition incarnation attempt went belly up!? Alright, looks like I’m throwing my hat into the ring… We should have just made Zalmarren a God so he didn’t have to go through this nonsense…’”
“So yeah… um, that’s a thing that happened. It really sucks that Will can’t have his way with his writing, that it feels like he could have someone bring the hammer down on him for – God forbid – knowing his culture exists. You know, I bemoan the fact that I am lonely in this liminal hellscape above the 13th dimension I call a home, but at least I can say I don’t have to deal with the damn legal system. So yeah, moral of this story – not the lore entry, mind you – don’t do cultural references unless you know you can get away with it… and by that I mean don’t do it unless it’s a non-corporate community project or public domain work… and even then be thoughtful with the former.”
The Author God: HOLD ON, Dead God. You realize we’re potentially in trouble, right? Remember when Zalmarren failed to incarnate, so he made that deal?
“Deal? What deal?”
The Author God: The deal nobody wants to acknowledge, where he promised he would help bring into existence those strange entities from Surtr’s genesis… and then he got cold feet and backed out, with Threrth having to broker a renegotiation so they didn’t go after Zalmarren.
“Wait a second, I remember now – The ones The Wonderful Gentleman has been dealing with?”
The Author God: Yeah, those… things – so foreign to even The Lost Era, what The Roaring Ones were trying to say about The Primal Angels–
“Yeah, the ones Raziel said predated Lost Carcosa – which is bizarre given the nature of The Lost Era.”
The Author God: Hatanathos is following Zalmarren… Will around, and wherever he goes there’s nothing but chaos. I’m not saying those two are the cause of all our troubles, far from it, but we really need to keep an eye on them.
“Yeah, I’ve been thinking about that… honestly makes what I did during my ‘incident’ feel like something normal, despite the ACF classifying me as a ‘lethal’ threat.”
The Author God: Primal Angels are inherent forces of Chaos in our era because of how foreign they are–
“Wait, since when are you an expert on The Lost Era?”
The Author God: I’ve been talking to Akktak and The Element God.
“Ah, continue…”
The Author God: Primal Angels are nothing but trouble and are fundamentally incompatible with the current state of reality, and I’m worried about more crossing over – that’s something The Miranda Group can’t control or regulate. Hatanathos and the ones that have crossed over so far are manageable, but imagine if Audoin somehow pulls off his stupid plans…
“I’d rather not think about that…”
The Author God: The issue isn’t that Surtr, The Lost Darkness God, and Audoin are going to bring The Lost Era to The Void Era – It’s that they’re going to try to do it, fail, and unleash a whole bunch of chaos from The Lost Era and beyond, and we’ll have to clean up the mess… We need to figure out how to get people like Hatanathos aligned with The Old Gods – he’s warming up to them, but we’re not quite there yet…
“Do I have to go talk to him? He gives me the heebeegeebees…”
The Author God: (sighs) Yes, you are going to have to go talk to him. Being 14D allows you to converse with these Before Entities with clarity not even 13th dimensionals can afford. And given that those pretentious tossers up in the incomprehensible dimensions won’t even come near us and The Wonderful Gentleman being busy with his own work, this is up to you – Look, just make it clear that Zalmarren was young and not sure what he was getting himself into given that it was his first attempt at reincarnation and everything should be fine.
“Oh boy… alright, I’ll do it for Will… Because we’re friends like that.”
The Author God: There you go – don’t worry, we’ll figure this out. And tell Will to be careful, please?

“Right… Hey, Will? Do what you’re going to do, but be careful if someone comes along with a good deal – really read the fine print on that deal. Good night everyone, I’ve got a contract dispute to resolve… Can I at least get Threrth’s help with this?”
