These chaotic Fae typically show up in the early days of a civilization alongside their normal fae kin... except these little stinkers tend to linger, as opposed to their kin leaving for greener pastures. They mess with humans, pulling tricks and pranks on them. As to why they haven't been discovered, they are crafty. After watching a video game trailer, Will went to Haze and presented him with the idea for a new form called "Megalo-Haze." Art Page - Master Post - Patreon Originally drawn on: 5/29/2024 - - - - - What's going on here?      Will (ULTRAMagic Ignition, formerly ULTRAMagic Shadow) was sent out on a mission to investigate reports of an entity causing havoc in an abandoned temple in The Deep Unlight. The ULTRAMagic Guild has suspicions that this could be an ANTIMagic Mage, but those chances were slim. Ignition had just gotten back from a mission that ended with the timeline in question annihilating itself through nuclear war, so this was seen as a nice and easy mission to relax his nerves.      What Will, Haze, and the guild did not expect was that there was a mage and it took the form of a blob of pure poison with poison based magic... Will does not want to call for backup given the failure of his biggest mission, but his instincts are telling him to run and get help. Whatever he decides on needs to be done fast as Haze can only hold back the poisonous mist created by the entity ...

In this case, Will was in a turbulent mood, most likely due to overstimulation. Chaos form is a more wild and unpredictable state consisting of erratic behavior. Will is difficult to reason with and acts with reckless abandon. This can be attributed to him knowing that Haze will protect him. As for Haze, the overstimulation spreads to him, suppressing his reason and logic. A massive concern held by M.A.I.G., The Liger Brigade, and The ULTRAMagic Guild is the question of whether or not other individuals bonded to Haze can exhibit such behavior.      The duo's abilities are similar to their normal state in concept. The Liger Brigade's attempt ended when Haze possessed one of the guards guarding his containment cell. Thankfully, Haze would be drawn to Will/ULTRAMagic Shadow (a special agent of the Liger Brigade). The two would form a friendship that would lead to Haze sticking around Will. This was a relief for the brigade and M.A.I.G. as now they could keep an eye on Haze. Then Dr. Reynard Woodall (lead scientist of M.A.I.G.) put forth an unsettling idea: If Haze exists, then what's stopping other entities like him from existing? They got lucky with Haze because he made himself easy to detect. This is not to be confused with aberrant magic as many of these mages have aberrant abilities. ANTIMagic usually forms when there is a great upheaval in one's magic. What this upheaval is can be literally anything, with the end result being either the mage in question being corrupted or forming a new entity altogether. There is also the possibility that an ANTIMagic mage can form from the collective emotions of a group of people. ANTIMagic can also be used to designate magic or magic-capable entities that are poorly understood.
