Despite the recent ChromeOS update messing up Krita, I was able to get this done.      I want to start drawing Konrad Strobel more because I'm beginning to realize how truly interesting his design is and yes, I am being 100% serious with this scenario. The side effects and accidents of his magic, Toximancy, are worth exploring. - - - - -      Konrad, a recent recruit to the ULTRAMagic Guild courtesy of ULTRAMagic Ignition, is quite the interesting fellow with his signature Toximancy magic. The range of useful chemicals and reactions he can create knows no bounds, but sometimes things can go awry. Much like how a normal human is unaware of the complexities of their biology, Konrad is mostly unaware of what brews inside his body. Art Page - Master Post - Patreon Originally uploaded on: 3/28/2025 Previous drawing Let's talk a little more about Konrad. - - - - -      Getting ANTIMagic Hex to calm down revealed that Konrad was once human, but something happened to him that caused him to mutate into ANTIMagic Hex. His origin is up for debate as his insight on the matter is inconclusive and he just showed up in The Unlight one day. The running theory is that he is from an IGL universe at a high enough level to mutate him and his magic. Whatever the case is, he expressed desires not to return to that universe.      As a human he has great control over his magic, actually making it more potent and dangerous than when he is in his "dragon" form. Even if his human form is not perfect, the key to maintaining it is keeping him calm. Over-stimulation and heavy emotional distress causes him to lose control and revert back to his dragon form, making him a threat to everyone around him.  ...

I decided to finally give this ANTIMagic mage a face and name, tying him to ANTIMagic Hex who was mentioned in Haze's lore entry. Art Page - Master Post - Patreon Originally drawn on: 5/29/2024 - - - - - What's going on here?      Will (ULTRAMagic Ignition, formerly ULTRAMagic Shadow) was sent out on a mission to investigate reports of an entity causing havoc in an abandoned temple in The Deep Unlight. The ULTRAMagic Guild has suspicions that this could be an ANTIMagic Mage, but those chances were slim. Ignition had just gotten back from a mission that ended with the timeline in question annihilating itself through nuclear war, so this was seen as a nice and easy mission to relax his nerves.      What Will, Haze, and the guild did not expect was that there was a mage and it took the form of a blob of pure poison with poison based magic... Will does not want to call for backup given the failure of his biggest mission, but his instincts are telling him to run and get help. Whatever he decides on needs to be done fast as Haze can only hold back the poisonous mist created by the entity ...
