Not all universes are created equally and some are less fortunate than others. Some universes slip through the cracks and Weaver's timeline just so happened to be one of them. That universe was near the ULTRAMagic timeline and was very unstable. While very few managed to escape, the ones who did were cast about throughout reality. Weaver managed to land in the Unlight... not the best place to land in. Regardless, he chose to make the best of his new circumstances. He wandered for a bit until stumbling across a city known as Shadowland. The city was in its infancy and was in desperate need of workers. It just so happened that they needed a blacksmith or two and Weaver needed the work. He was nowhere near as constrained back in his timeline, so he was really able to improve his skill and craft.
