ULTRAMagic Eon 2 - Chapter 2

Previous | First | Next Master Post - Patreon          “Are they–did they get past the gates?” Blood-Wraith inquired. “No, they’re sitting in the road again,” Dragoslava answered plainly. Blood-Wraith let out a loud groan and began to make his way out of the main hall. “That is just LOVELY! New faces and they’re probably going to get scared off by those zero IQ activists!” Shaye gave a quick laugh as he and Ahhotep followed Dragoslava, Mal, Tiberius, Schwarzes, and Quasar out of the guild hall. “Activists? What in the Sam Hill would they be protesting?” “They keep claiming we’re not inclusive enough because of the ULTRAMagic requirement,” Schwarzes answered. “Dad’s dealt with these types before–they demand we be better and that we stand with them in solidarity… even though we’re actively protecting the entire Cosmos.” “Oh, so they’re communists?” Shaye deduced. Dragoslava laughed, recalling her trips to Earth-23. “Usually, but even then they don’t ...

Sitting next to Blood-Wraith was one of his best friends who was once a strange boy that could just barely be perceived, but now was a fully visible man with green eyes and tidy, brown hair. As for his hand, it was clear he was not going to win that round. “And to add insult to injury, Morrigan and Gore reared their heads around the same time we got radio silence.” This elicited a subtle groan from Blood-Wraith. Mal, a strange, slender primordial who was the adoptive daughter of Blood-Wraith’s late friend Leif, added more of her chips to the bet. “It’d be nice if we had more intel. Given that we’ve rounded up a...

ULTRAMagic Babel - Chapter 20

Previous | First | Next Master Post - Patreon           Leonard’s realm was a great, majestic city perpetually adrift in an everlasting thunderstorm. The Maelstrom Colosseum, whose architecture was like someone from another dimension drawing inspiration from ancient Greek temples, sat atop of a great tornado and was a breathtaking sight to behold. Gratiana felt incredibly nostalgic and complete as she entered the arena with Lia. The subjects of the realm, consisting of man, dragon, and jabberwock cheered and applauded the return of the Discordant Champion of Lightning. And of course seeing that Rahela had finally picked her champion was also fantastic to see.      Audamar was even more intimidated now given that he was unsure what his magic even was and he knew a thing or two about Gratiana’s past. The pressure of knowing he was being watched by a massive audience also did not help. Out of courtesy he was given the first move of the due...
