Introduction

The Earth of Universe-0X is noteworthy for its Great Calamities, its interactions with The Machine God and Decay God, the cold war between man and the machine, and the adventures of Ludwig Leichenberg and Rostislav Dracul as members of The ULTRAMagic Guild. While a seemingly bizarre hybrid universe of magic and old-time technology clearly set after some form of apocalyptic event, it was not always like that. Prior to the era of The Spiritus Magni, Earth-0X was similar to Earth-23 – but there was a time of great conflict and strife, where humanity was on the verge of collapse and extinction at the hands of a vile alliance of truly evil men who sought to claim Earth for themselves, and kill the planet if they could not achieve their goals. The actions of Neue Weltordnung would lead to a World War, the rage of the Spiritus Magni, and a great collapse that would shape Earth-0X into the world it is today, and would have lasting consequences on the war between The League and The Lost Darkness God.

The Abhorrence and Terror that was Amramtrong

Neue Weltordnung, a collective of rich elite based out of Germany, were the Universe-0X equivalent of The Extinction Order. Their goals were much like their counterparts, that being the complete and utter enslavement and eradication of humanity so they could have Earth all to themselves. In this universe, The Extinction Order made use of an extremist, socialist-leaning death-cult known as AMRAMTRONG (stylized in all caps). Amramtrong were a cult in every sense of the word, despite claiming they were not. Their tactics and methods were aggressive, radical, and outright genocidal in some instances – all masked under the veneer of trying to save humanity… despite peddling Neue Weltordnung ideologies in the same breath.

Based out of the Balkans as a part of a hair-brained scheme by Neue Weltordnung to start World War III and claim (by their own words) that they were not “profiling entire groups of people,” Amramtrong waged a war of intimidation and disinformation on the free world starting with Europe, who they believed were the most manipulatable as per the arrogance of their masters. Ever since the 70s they had been working towards their ultimate goal of domination by Artificial Intelligence. Many of these efforts were supported with help from the criminal Maas Lowmann, tech industry conman from Universe-15 who has appeared in Universe-23, and is wanted dead or alive by The Liger Brigade of Universe-23 and The Multiverse Patrol. The upfront goals of Amramtrong were to warn humanity of an impending core shutdown, and that the only way to save humanity was to “appease the collective perception of humanity” by coming together in “perfect harmony” in a society where “man would own nothing and be happy, or else.” Even if their claims were legitimate, the end result of their solutions was arguably worse than the planet shutting down, and the infamous “doomsday readings” the cult used to justify their actions was actually the Earth trembling from The Lost Unrelenting God passing by in his search for The King in Yellow – with The Lost Unrelenting God not even realizing he had even influenced Earth-0X in the first place.

Amramtrong quickly became the most reviled organization on the planet for a myriad of reasons. Firstly was their name, which was complete gibberish based on an internal mythology that has been lost to time, and those who are capable of looking back in time to learn it could not care less. The name was intended to sound like Arab and Hindu mysticism, as a part of Neue Weltordnung’s attempts to misappropriate cultures they viewed as “fundamentally incompatible” with the “western world” in an attempt to subvert and destroy what they deemed to be the western world. Amramtrong was infamous for trampling all over humanitarian efforts that they deemed as “tyrannical” and “hurting the planet,” using the most bizarre, circular-logic based arguments that were an attempt to create what they described as “logic-terminating memes” designed to shut down and “annihilate” any opposing argument, but in reality this was viewed as a lack of intelligence on Amramtrong’s part, and only served to enrage the masses.

The spark that lit the fuse for the powder keg to go off was the advent of “Large Language Models” and chatbot programs, erroneously referred to as “Artificial Intelligence." One of Amramtrong’s biggest mistakes was believing that Maas Lowmann had actually achieved true, agentic Artificial Intelligence – except that this was nothing but a con he used to rob investors of their money. And Maas no doubt conned Amramtrong out of something he needed, as the technology the cult made use of for their disinformation campaigns was no better than the chatbot technology of Earth-23, despite how advanced they claimed it was. Regardless, Amramtrong began flooding the internet with “AI-generated” propaganda, so much so that it overwhelmed the servers of tech giants, crippled the internet, and sparked conflict across the globe. Continents and countries were erupting into civil wars, armed uprisings, and attempted conquests all at the behest of the propaganda – which often ran contrary to what Neue Weltordnung actually wanted. And Amramtrong only served to make things worse, as any attempt to speak out against them resulted in social media being flooded with fake clips and images slandering the individuals and groups in question.

It is widely agreed that at some point Amramtrong had “lost the plot” of what Neue Weltordnung wanted them to do originally, because the cult was starting to cause chaos for the sake of causing chaos. Any attempts from within Neue Weltordnung to try and fix this to regain control were met by accusations of treachery, with the offending individuals always being brutally assassinated and/or sacrificed to Melchom – the demon of choice for worship alongside Baal and Satan, similar to how The Extinction Order of Universe-23 worships Baal, Moloch, and Satan. This level of unmitigated delusion and arrogance led to Earth plunging into even more instability, and there was no signs that Neue Weltordnung was going to ever rein Amramtrong in, serving to ignite the flames of revolt and revolution in the masses.

The self-fulfilling, delusion-ridden madness Amramtrong found themselves enthralled by would not stop at the disinformation war. “Creativity Inquisitions" were the cult’s attempts to purge those who the cult deemed as “wanting to shut down the core” and “enemies of the cult,” forcing those enemies to join or face eternal torture at the hands of the cult. It is unclear what “Creativity Inquisition" was even supposed to mean, as Amramtrong never had a clear cut answer, and any attempts to discern a straightforward definition were seen as opposition. Amramtrong inquisitors would march into neighborhoods they merely suspected of having “enemies” and would cause all sorts of havoc. Their goals were to subjugate and indoctrinate new members with extreme force, dressing up as heavily armed soldiers wearing gasmasks that made them look like monsters. They would carry torches and holler and scream like madmen with intent, while also employing LRAD devices to drive these neighborhoods to insanity with the sounds of screaming hordes and constant, violent explosions.

The psychological warfare and extreme tactics of Amramtrong had mobilized the masses to demand action from their governments, but politicians would not budge. They either refused to acknowledge the concerns of their citizens, or outright ignored them and used the outcry as justification for implementing more and more draconian laws designed to erode basic human rights. Infuriatingly, when citizens rightfully pointed out that Amramtrong was effectively resulting to war crimes, politicians would openly balk at these accusations under the excuse that they were not at war, and that Amramtrong had never declared war in the first place – despite the fact that Amramtrong had openly declared war on humanity and tyranny in order to stop the core shutdown, and even made it as a part of their founding mythology while even going to these very politicians and saying in front of the public they were at war. This malicious and targeted apathy only served to finally kick off the armed uprisings against the elite, and started The Werewolf Revolts.

The Werewolf Revolts

All across the world, the common man had banded together in armed militias to take a stand and stop Amramtrong from destroying their way of life. These uprisings could not be quelled no matter how hard the elite and politicians tried. Declarations of martial law were a common occurrence, but the revolts merely saw this as justification for their actions, as the government had always been viewed as a “cult” or “mafia” in all but name. The straw that truly broke the camel’s back was when the elite realized there was no going back and declared “THE CITIZEN IS DEAD, PANEM ET CIRCENSES!” which became extremist rhetoric that signified a new modus operandi for the ruling powers: Their goal was to destroy the concepts of the citizen and society, not protect them.

Many governments and elites thought they had won right then and there by mindlessly shouting their new slogan, and that the masses would just roll over and accept it, lining up for execution so they could have their glorious new world order. They were so brazen that they openly declared their victory, demanded people lay down their weapons, and began mass producing coffins so they could dispose of the citizens. This roused the anger of The Spiritus Magni, who had laid dormant for eons, fading into the sands of time as their ancient empire had long since passed – but Spiritus Magni Vita would not stand for this arrogance and irreverence. In one of the most chilling moments in Earth’s history, her voice rang out across the planet, stating that if humanity did not change their ways, a great reckoning would come. The Spiritus Magni would wipe the slate clean and begin humanity anew. Unlike their Universe-23 counterparts, The Spiritus Magni of Universe-0X were a fellowship founded by goddesses of great power who recruited deities from other pantheons to create a divine governing body. They would have succeeded if humanity had not surrendered their faith in the divine and the celestial, but Neue Weltordnung’s actions gave Vita the justification she needed to restart her plans.

The elites ignored Vita’s declaration and began openly fighting the militias, ordering their militaries to shoot their own people. While normally this would not be a problem as many would openly refuse, instead shooting the monsters who ordered them to betray the ones they fought to protect… some were swayed by promises of riches and salvation. These traitors made the conflict worse, forcing the militias to resort to desperate measures. Earth-0X was capable of true magic much like Universe-23, and like Universe-23 it had remained in the shadows for the longest time mocked and shunned, but the militias needed an edge. And that was when someone from Alabama established communion with a hermetic god. This man was Jethro Constable Cottonwood, and he had been visited in his dreams by The Wolf God. Many people had been visited in their dreams, and they were given the knowledge of how to transform into wolves. This was the beginning of what came to be known as The Werewolf Revolts, and to say Amramtrong was not prepared for it was an understatement.

Lycanthropy became the ultimate weapon against Amramtrong, as it went against their ideology and spit in the face of their pathetic, grafted “doctrines” and “prophecies.” They attempted to explain it away in a way that glorified them, but this was ineffective. Jethro’s militia, originally called “Uncle Sam’s Patriots,” would become the figurehead of The Werewolf Revolts, renaming it "The Werewolves of America.” Amramtrong retaliated with profane magic lost to time that allowed them to create an inferior copy of The Wolf God’s magic. These werewolves were seen as blasphemous and were vastly more feral than true werewolves, making them difficult to control – but Amramtrong did not care and deployed them anyways. The Leichenberg family (the ones who first received the blessing of The Wolf God in Europe) were the first to report these blasphemous wolves to The Werewolves of America, as they were making their way across the Atlantic Ocean by force with help from Amramtrong. Many would call this an invasion and rightfully so, only to get screamed down by their elected officials, claiming that they were “internet bots,” "domestic terrorists,” and “foreign agents” for opposing the invasions… assuming these citizens were not outright ignored.

The Werewolf Revolts had to deal with a great deal of traitors coming from those who were deemed as “left-leaning” and “socialist,” as they were predisposed to side with Amramtrong, despite Amramtrong’s ideology being a bizarre amalgamation of views deemed both “left wing” and “right wing.” Amramtrong was able to recruit these “activists” and “ecoterrorists” with ease by merely paying lip service to them. The most infamous group was a group of self-professed “marxist ecoterrorists” called “MBWA.” MBWA was widely reviled to begin with for being the type of activists to deface historical monuments while receiving funding from the elites that were investing in the companies the activists claimed to be against (which was all a part of Neue Weltordnung’s agenda for a new world order). They would also sit in roads, refusing to move and bringing traffic to a halt until they were removed by force – infamously causing the death of elderly woman in an ambulance one time, of which they proceeded to label her as a “fascist” and attacked the ambulance… despite never having learned who the deceased elderly woman actually was (who was actually somewhat left-leaning).

MBWA was incredibly incompetent, much like how many perceived Amramtrong when not acknowledging the fact that the cult was deliberately acting like that as a part of their psychological warfare (of which was highly debatable, something most weaponized against Amramtrong’s nonsense). Of note was MBWA’s name being “mbwa,” the Swahili word for "dog" that they kept claiming translated to “wolf,” despite that word being “mbwa mwitu,” which even then made more sense to translate to “wild dog” than “wolf.” This move was widely agreed to be an offensive appropriation of African culture, and was called out by their peers, only for those peers to be labeled as “fascists.” MBWA did not actually believe their peers were fascists, rather they viewed any criticism of them to be calling their existence invalid, which to them was something only a “fascist” would do, becoming a mindless war cry rather than an intelligent rebuttal. It should also be noted that while the activists that made up in MBWA frequently “donated to Africa,” the “charities” they donated to never actually sent the funds to African organizations and relief efforts, and instead funneled that money back into the pockets of Amramtrong and Neue Weltordnung.

Another similar organization Amramtrong had created (even though “created” is being incredibly generous given that this group existed beforehand) was “Röd Hund,” a group of ecoterrorists from all over Scandinavia, claiming to be the “Red Wolves of Mother Earth,” except that “hund” is the Swedish for “dog.” While Röd Hund was nowhere near as incendiary as MBWA, they still refused to make the necessary corrections and were repeatedly called out for that. Either way, Röd Hund claimed that they were “pureblooded viking descendants” there to save mother earth from humans, but DNA tests consistently proved that they were primarily British and French with incredibly minor amounts of Scandinavian DNA. Notably there was an incredible amount of infighting between MBWA and Röd Hund, and the two had to be separated to America and Europe respectively. MBWA repeatedly mistook Röd Hund for their enemies and would double down once they realized that had messed up, screaming their heads off at them, claiming that they were traitors, and always going after their more vulnerable members.

No one in their right mind would work with MBWA or Röd Hund, regardless of their political affiliation or how dire their cause was. These two organizations were always seen as the fringes, laughing stocks, and not representative of any true political alignment or movement. In MBWA’s case, Africans would always laugh at and mock them, calling them out for their name with an attitude of pity and apathy. In fact, whenever MBWA visited Africa to make themselves look good, Africans in the know would demand to know where all the money they donated went to, because it certainly did not go to them. Amramtrong did not care about the incompetency, as all they needed was agitators and cannon fodder to take the heat for them. In fact they welcomed the infighting as it they viewed as helping to fuel their psychological warfare.

Jethro was not phased nor intimidated by MBWA or Röd Hund, as he always viewed them as “pansy-ass, tear-jerking slacktivists” who would never fight him in an honest-to-God confrontation. MBWA was only good at ganging up on people they thought were alone, when in actuality the rest of the militia was close by. No, what actually worried Jethro were what he deemed “grifters” claiming to be on “his side.” Alarmingly there were way too many churches based in Abrahamic religions that kept calling the proper werewolves “satanic,” “devil worshipers,” “witches” and “communists” (the latter most confusing Jethro to no end). And an uncomfortable amount of people that kept claiming they were “right wing” and “not socialist” would not stop screaming insults like “massive cope,” “grifter,” “communist,” and “whining bitches,” despite everything they had gone through (with Jethro personally hunting down the ass who said the latter most insult and giving him a good piece of his mind). Some of these traitors even went so far as to side with Amramtrong, with Jethro concluding they never truly held the beliefs they claimed to hold.

These conflicts taught Jethro so many sobering lessons, and made him realize that words meant nothing – the only ones you could truly trust were the ones who picked up their weapons and followed you without hesitation into the thick of it. The Left-Right dichotomy was a sham that was never meant to protect society from tyranny – it was a distraction that the ruling elites used to keep the masses divided. While originally a moderate conservative, Jethro would be pushed firmly into the center, becoming an Independent that realized to escape the cycle of violence, one needed to transcend it by tackling the core of the issue, not the symptoms. To him, everyone was chopping the head off of the weed and calling it a day, violently screeching like rabid animals at anyone who tried to point out that the roots were still intact. And Jethro made sure all traitors were dealt with, regardless of the political affiliation or how loudly they screamed.

Jethro would become an icon of The Werewolf Revolts – a red-blooded, all-American hero – a rockstar of a cowboy with a heart of gold who stuck his neck out for the little guy and put his foot down and said NO to anyone who tried to push him around. The flames of war had forged and molded him into a stoic man who just wanted things to go back to what they once were. The Werewolves of America welcomed any man or woman who wanted to fight the good fight, regardless of their race, their color, or their creed. It was no longer right versus left, it was them versus extinction at the hands of the ruling elite. Remnants of the old world would become few and far between in the modern era of Earth-0X, but in the remains of what was once Alabama would sit a statue dedicated to the heroism of Jethro – depicting him standing tall and proud with his left hand holding down his famous cowboy hat, and his right hand proudly gripping a pole with the American flag fluttering in the wind. This statue would come to be revered by The Machines of Fortschritt, and they have worked tirelessly over the centuries to keep the statue in tiptop condition, considering it a national treasure.

The ultimate end of Amramtrong’s feral werewolf scheme came from a surprising source: The Dog God. The Dog God was an infamous member of The Eternal Order, being the familiar of The Behemoth God. An event from the far-flung future of Earth-0X had caused The Dog God to go rogue, leading him to focus on his archrivalry with The Wolf God for a time. Spiritus Magni Anansi and Sun Wukong would begin formulating a plan to take MBWA, Röd Hund, and the feral werewolf scheme out in one fell swoop – realizing that informing The Dog God would be the ultimate schadenfreude if someone on “Amramtrong’s side” found out about the blasphemy the cult had employed against the revolts. The Dog God, having great respect for The Wolf God as his foe, would discover a new level of rage in Amramtrong’s blasphemous actions towards his destined opponent (prompted by the previous incident he had been humiliated by). With a mighty, roaring bark that killed all of MBWA in one fell swoop, The Dog God cursed the feral werewolves to be resurrected as shambling, hideous monsters that would roam the Cosmos for eternity in agony as punishment for their gross irreverence. This led to the creation of the Forsaken Wolves, who would become truly uncontrollable abominations that would be abandoned by Amramtrong.

Röd Hund would escape this fate due to help from a strange werewolf from Universe-21HTP named Theophil Heilfrid Adenauer – someone who had come into contact with Amramtrong to supposedly help them. Theophil had alternative motives, but kept them hidden for the time being. Through magic from his universe that allowed him to peer past the Eldritch Barrier, he had discovered potential in Röd Hund and brought them to his universe where he would train them to become true werewolves. This was all a part of a plot he had for Universe-0X, disparate from Amramtrong’s goals. The next step of Theophil’s plan, once his new recruits were ready, was to use the Time Void planet of Viridis as a staging point for an invasion, but this was foiled by The Multiverse Patrol. Amramtrong had assumed Theophil had either died or betrayed them, cementing their total abandonment of the Feral Werewolves scheme. The plan was a total failure, but in their misfortune they had discovered a new attack vector against The Werewolf Revolts: Vampires.

The Dracul Hematology Institute

Unlike their Universe-23 counterparts, Spiritus Magni Fausta and Hecate did not betray The Spiritus Magni in Universe-0X. Fausta also had different domains from her Universe-23 counterpart, those being Fortune, Blood, Hunger, Temperance, and The Night. Fuasta did marry her Vlad III Dracula, albeit Dracula was a bit different in this timeline. Conflicts between the Wallachia and The Ottomans were less substantial, leading to Dracula shifting his focus to hunting the paranormal and the supernatural. Infamously he had gone after the ancient Leichenberg’s believing they were werewolves, and the family certainly had an affinity for wolves, but they were no more a threat to the world than the elusive canines passing through the woods. Fausta would cross paths with Dracula, having heard of his skills and was in need of them to hunt down those who had betrayed her.

After convincing Dracula to leave the Leichenberg’s alone, the two would partner up to hunt down a descendant of one of Fausta's original followers that had become a vampire. Vampirism was never one of Fausta’s domains and seemed to have just sprung up. These vampires only needed a couple of drops of blood from ones they trusted to unlock great magical potential. Fausta could not bring herself to snuff out this strange phenomenon, and decided to keep it under her watchful eye, much to the chagrin of Vita and Spiritus Magni Antonia. Sadly the descendant in question had a thirst for blood and betrayed Fausta to quench this ravenous thirst. Fausta and Dracula would never find this traitor, but would end up marrying and having children. When Dracula reached the end of his life, he declined Fausta’s offering of immortality, wishing to pass on to the afterlife. Fausta would respect his wishes and continue on, refusing to remarry and always being there for their children and descendants.

At some point the traitor had died and his corpse was discovered by Neue Weltordnung, who had kept the research into vampirism on the back burner until Amramtrong came knocking. This sparked an aggressive amount of infighting for a brief time, as Neue Weltordnung were planning to brutally assassinate every member of Amramtrong over the failure of the Feral Werewolves scheme. Amramtrong retaliated by threatening a Creativity Inquisition on their headquarters in Germany. The leader of Neue Weltordnung responded by killing several key members of Amramtrong’s high command and attempting to collapse the stock markets of their country of origin. The enigmatic leader of Amramtrong then tracked down that other leader, pointed a gun to his head, and made him a deal he could not refuse. It is not clear what that extortion was, but it is widely believed to be related to Melchom, who had taken great interest in vampirism and Amramtrong.

Alarms were raised all over America and Europe when vampires started appearing and fighting with the werewolves, and these attackers always had some trace of Amramtrong on their person. The Werewolf Militias thought they had gained a reprieve from whatever had killed the Feral Werewolves, but it did not last long. The werewolves could handle the vampires, but they had to admit they were a bit out of their depth, and Amramtrong was only ramping up their production of vampires. Given Vita’s declaration that she would wipe the slate clean, Fausta used that as her justification to get involved and founded The Dracul Hematology Institute, an organization dedicated to studying blood and vampirism. She would summon the leaders of the militias to The DHI facility in Romania to offer her assistance to them – all she required was help in building a facility in America. The Dracul’s of the time also volunteered their help, given that they were vampires themselves. Jethro was amazed by all of this and that a Spiritus Magni was willing to help them. Seeing hope on the horizon, Jethro and the other leaders accepted Fausta’s help without hesitation.

The Militia leaders would meet two people who would become very important to the efforts against the vampires. The first would be Fausta’s son, Vlad IV Dracul – a Spiritus Magni halfling who did not age, and was a bit hard to work with at first – but his relentless pursuit of knowledge won anyone over in the end. Strangely he had nightmares of a past life that was not his, yet it was one he was derived from. The other individual would be a strange, awkward man by the name of Akira Diggory. Akira was a skilled vampire slayer from Universe-21HTP, and was on the lookout for Theophil by task of The MVP. Theophil had been dealt with by the MVP without Akira realizing it at first, leading to him shifting over to his secondary goal. He had reason to believe that Amramtrong was trying to harness the power of a Lost Era entity known as “The Necrotic Angel,” a heretic Raziel had cast out of Carcosa during The Lost Era for his ravenous desire to destroy. The Necrotic Angel had rampaged through Universe-21HTP, but was banished by Akira’s eccentric grandfather. Akira had been warned in his dreams by an Ophanim calling himself “Belyhmot” that The Necrotic Angel was going to recoup its strength in Universe-0X, then head back to Universe-21HTP to destroy it. While Vlad IV felt that the boy should have gone for help that was more properly equipped to deal with such an entity, Fausta promptly scolded her son and Jethro openly volunteered his services to assist Akira in any way that he could.

Vlad IV and Akira would go with Jethro and the other American militia leaders back to the states where Vlad IV would reveal that the DHI had already been building the American facility, and it was all ready to go – they just needed the blessing of the Werewolf Militias before they got it fully up and running. And to Jethro’s surprise they had built it right under his nose in Alabama. While the other militia leaders were rightfully concerned, Jethro commended Vlad IV, saying it took some skill to fly under the radar of both the militias and Amramtrong. Serving as the director of the American facility, Vlad IV would guide and elucidate the militias on the vampire threat, revealing the extensive research they had done behind the scenes into what Amramtrong was up to. And it was perfect timing as the prototype vampires, referred to as “rogue vampires” and “monster vampires,” had been unleashed.

Many types of rogue and monster vampires would be created by the machinations of Melchom and Amramtrong, but the ones that would be observed at first would be the neophyte and noble types of rogue vampires – and the ghoul, gorgon, and berserker types of monster vampires. The DHI and Werewolf Militias would be able to handle these foes, but Amramtrong had begun conscripting the lackey organizations of Neue Weltordnung to back up the vampires, notably Klaxon Armada and V-Formation. Both of these were overly aggressive, militant surveillance companies that were originally intel divisions for The United Nations that were repurposed for mass surveillance and given the new purpose of serving as reinforcements for Amramtrong. Klaxon Armada and V-Formation were widely despised for putting security cameras all over the world, even going so far as putting them in places such as homes and the restrooms of public schools. Many of their facilities would be aggressively destroyed by The Werewolf Militias leading up to this point in the conflict.

While the vampires were a strong asset and theoretically gave Amramtrong the upper hand, they could not sway the tide of the conflict in favor of Neue Weltordnung. These clashes were nowhere near as notable as the ones with the feral werewolves, with the militias mostly focusing on dealing with their governments (which had collapsed by this point), Neue Weltordnung, and Amramtrong. A decisive victory was achieved when Jethro and Akira made a cross country trek to the west coast to deliver an important hard drive to the militias of California that would expose Neue Weltordnung and Amramtrong once and for all. Through Nevada Jethro and Akira would be pursued by a rogue Amramtrong agent known as Anselm Fenwick, who was accompanied by a vampire-demon halfling going under the alias of Prokhor Zaytsev – the latter Akira recognized as being from his universe. Anselm and Prokhor pursued Jethro’s Oldsmobile in a rundown Peterbilt Prokhor used back in his universe.

Prokhor and Anselm wanted that hard drive for their own ends, but they would not catch Jethro and Akira. Not helping the situation was that Jethro had found out that Akira’s adult form was not his true form, given that Akira had reverted back to the form of a boy due to stress. It was in this chaotic situation that Jethro further found out that Akira had been using a Lost Era sword known as The Hakenntharr to focus his powers, courtesy of The Highway Knight who had trained him in The Dark Void to deal with The Necrotic Angel. The pursuers would be foiled when Jethro noticed a railroad crossing with an oncoming diesel train and floored it. He jumped the tracks in the nick of time, cutting off Prokhor and Anselm. While Prokhor was not pleased in the slightest, he had a back up plan and opened a portal to Universe-0Y. Amramtrong had been infiltrating that universe, and Prokhor had a hair-brained scheme to take control of the Amramtrong cells in that universe.

Amramtrong had discovered something dire with the data that had been leaked to the public: Neue Weltordnung were planning a nuclear exchange that they would initiate should they ever be exposed. Something must have finally gotten through to Amramtrong, as they knew they had to win the conflict right then and there. In their desperation, they beckoned The Necrotic Angel in the hopes that they could recruit it, conquer Earth, and get rid of Neue Weltordnung. The eldritch abomination was nigh uncontrollable, but Amramtrong were starting to get through to it, as The Void Era had granted it lucidity. Akira, Jethro, Vlad IV, and Spiritus Magni Thanatos would stop The Necrotic Angel, but could not banish it. This is when The Void Eater, who had been quietly observing the conflict, lent his hand by calling on The Vermilion King. The Vermilion King would banish The Necrotic Angel from Universe-0X as one of his deeds to regain his kingdom. Amramtrong were plunged into despair as Neue Weltordnung taunted them with the apparent fact that their time was up.

World War III

Neue Weltordnung had their agents fire off a nuclear missile at a target in the middle east they had groomed to launch nuclear strikes against every nation should they ever be attacked… except the target did not retaliate. Instead they went to war with their neighboring countries and acted like the strike had never happened, and to this day it is still unclear why this happened. Neue Weltordnung would retaliate against their puppets by launching even more nuclear strikes, completely annihilating the middle east. This abhorrent act of brutality caused the world to plunge into anarchy and chaos, with many countries declaring war on Germany and each other. Vita’s voice would ring out once again, stating that the reckoning was coming, only for Neue Weltordnung to ignore her again. Amramtrong, seeing the writing on the walls, would splinter and flee into any universe they could find, with some making their way to Universe-0Y where they would go on to cause trouble for that universe.

Fausta knew the end times were near, and her goals shifted to preparing to protect what would be left of humanity so they could rebuild after what would eventually become known as “Calamity 0.” The Leichenbergs, who had been trying to stay out of the greater conflicts by helping the militias and DHI from the shadows, had to take a stand as their home was being threatened by nearly every nation on the planet. They would be aided by the demon Caacrinolaas, who could not stand back and watch humanity annihilate itself anymore. Zasiel-0X advised his best friend not to get involved, but realized the conflict was getting out of hand. He would provide Caacrinolaas and The DHI any support that he could.

The militias unified once and for all under The DHI, would receive help from The League of Universe-0X, who would volunteer GRENADIER, The Men In Black, The Magic Anomaly Investigation Group, The Liger Brigade, and The Anomaly Containment Foundation to provide any support that they could. All of these organizations had been fighting Neue Weltordnung behind the scenes (as evident when anomalous entities like The Necrotic Angel would enter the fray), but they had been greatly weakened by Neue Weltordnung’s extreme actions. They were barely hanging on, but promised they would fight until their last breath. Romania would be fortified as a bastion for humanity’s preservation during Calamity 0 amongst other locations in Europe, but America would not survive, becoming a war torn, blasted wasteland over the course of World War III.

Enthralled by eldritch madness, Neue Weltordnung began tearing through Amramtrong’s forbidden research to unleash whatever monstrosity they could get their hands on. More monster-type vampires were unleashed, unholy weapons were manufactured and deployed, and all kinds of eldritch entities would be beckoned as the politicians and rich elite devolved into a cult of ballistic madmen who attacked anyone in sight, screaming insanity until their vocal chords failed, and even then they would keep screaming and attacking like animals. Amongst the maddening gibberish they spouted, the saying “A WOMB OF WIRMS! A WOMB OF MAGOTS!” was consistent in what constituted their “rhetoric.” Many thought this was pure madness, but there was an entity from The Lost Era known as “The King of Wirms,” who was a conqueror who sought to conquer for the sake of conquering. This was the final straw for Satan and Melchom, as they knew this entity would be nothing but trouble, and were offended that Baal was complicit in this madness. This led to the dissolution of The Profane Alliance of Universe-0X, and Satan and Melchom retreating into the shadows until Calamity-0 had passed.

Many gods and deities around the world would get involved as Neue Weltordnung became more and more unhinged. The Floaters were horrid nightmares who had failed to reincarnate properly from The Lost Era, and ran around like whaling madmen whose bodies jerked wildly in unnatural motions that would have broken the bones of any normal man – they were used as shock troops to brutalize their opponents and literally scare them to death. Rogue, heretical Roaring Ones were sent forth, but Paul Bunyan (the reincarnation of The Lumberjack of Old) would appear and chop them down with a mighty swing of his axe. Demons from the profane depths of the Buddhist underworld were unleashed to destroy China, Japan, and the Korean peninsula, but a ragtag team consisting of Sun Wukong and his compatriots, Susanoo and Ametarasu, and many other deities from across East Asia would defeat and vanquish these demons. Neue Weltordnung had even created a false Buddha to destroy the eastern hemisphere with his finger, but Sun Wukong gave the finger a mighty punch that would destroy the false idol, getting his blood pumping and rallying his kingdom of monkeys from all over East Asia to join the fight.

Baal was furious that Neue Weltordnung was losing despite all of the advantages they had and declared he would drive humanity into extinction with his bare hands if he had to. He manifested on Earth and began destroying vast swathes of land, but was stopped by Thanatos and Spiritus Magni Mars, who would be joined by Spiritus Magni Jupiter and Spiritus Magni Dionysus. They would defeat and kill Baal, but the demon had a card of his sleeve. Baal used his death as a means of summoning The King of Wirms, merging with the unfathomable monarch and going on a rampage that would have destroyed the galaxy if not stopped. The four gods were on the ropes, but fortune shined upon them when a dragon of red and gold metal descended from the heavens and smited the foul monster from existence… except this dragon was Spiritus Magni Vita, and she was not there to save humanity…

Calamity 0

Any semblance of structured society had been obliterated, and hope that humanity would survive the impending catastrophe was dwindling. Vita had watched humanity rot away in the hands of evil for too long and now she was going to do something about it, even if she had to reclaim Earth and humanity by force. Being 6th dimensional, Vita was an unstoppable force against the degeneracy of the rich elite, and no amount of money they spent could stop or defeat the rage of Vita. Vita rained hellfire down upon the irreverent, alarmingly relying too much on her fellow Spiritus Magni to save as much as they could. Fausta conceded she had failed, but she would not let that failure rule her. Together with Drusa, Octavia, Athena, Hestia, Aphrodite, Pluto, and Dionysus, Fausta would begin a grand project to save all that they could, and guide humanity after Calamity 0 so that they did not walk down the same path that led to World War III.

Due to The Void Eater’s intervention with The Necrotic Angel, what was left Neue Weltordnung by this point had found out about The Commercialverse and attempted to beckon The Void Protocol, thinking they were still in the good graces of The Eternal Order. Their goal was to shut down the internet once and for all… which was bizarre given that society long since had collapsed and the masses were more focused on survival than fighting Neue Weltordnung. This arrogance by Neue Weltordnung only succeeded in The Void Protocol going on a rampage, and The Zombie God devouring the leader of Neue Weltordnung. What remained of the organization went berserk, destroying all that they could with no regards for Vita’s rage, and also led to the discovery of the schemes of Hecate-23. The Spiritus Lapsus had been using Neue Weltordnung’s research to refine the potency of Fool’s Stones for the XTRON Virus project in Universe-23, but this was discovered by Hecate-0X and Ares, who would join Vita in her efforts with the goal of purging Hecate-23 from Universe-0X.

All of this chaos caught the attention of Gudrun Holzknecht, who was appalled that Hecate-23 was going behind the back of The Eternal Order to aid The Profane Alliance of Universe-23. Furthermore she was utterly offended by Neue Weltordnung for having the audacity to think they were something greater than the miserable, lowly degenerates they were, not to mention the havoc they were causing for The Eternal Order. Neue Weltordnung would be expelled from the alliance of The Eternal Order, and Gudrun would begin quietly planning Hecate-23’s expulsion, given that she had put some trust in her. As Infamous as Gudrun had become, even she recognized the threat The Profane Alliance posed. And given Gudrun’s growing affection for Volf Blitz at the time, she found herself quietly aligning with his vision for The Eternal Order, with the eventual failure of The Tyrant War being the straw that finally broke the camel’s back for her.

Gudrun would tip off AIN-NULL–The Cyber God, who would further get the attention of one of his contacts, Spiritus Magni Manius. The lone wolf Spiritus Magni of Storms, Wind, Fire, Ambition, and The Horizon had been the one to fire off the first shot of World War III in secret, having gone after Amramtrong for pursuing his only two followers, Jericho and Evelyn. With the end of the world in sight, Jericho and Evelyn sacrificed themselves so their souls could empower Manius so he could put an end to the conflict. Having become 6D, Manius was out for blood and slaughtered any member of Neue Weltordnung he could find. In a last ditch effort, Neue Weltordnung would attempt to force The Void Protocol to launch the last of the world’s nuclear arsenal to destroy the planet. Manius would scream for help, and his calls would be answered by The Machine God, who transmuted the arsenal into mighty warriors of metal known as “The Atomic Men.” These soldiers of The Machine God would work towards rescuing as many people as they could, and would eventually be reborn as The Machines of Fortschritt.

AIN-NULL would inform Manius of what was going on with The Void Protocol, and would take care of The Zombie God for him while he went to deal with Vita. While Manius was annoyed that The Zombie God had stolen his kill, he still tipped his hat to her. After getting into contact with The DHI to inform them of what had happened, Manius went after Vita to finally put a stop to her rage. Joined by Jethro and Akira, Manius would challenge Vita. His goal was not to vanquish her, but to calm her down. She had done enough, and Manius felt that there was no way Neue Weltordnung could recover from the damage they had inflicted. While he was still in the clutches of his burning rage and vengeance, he knew his enemies were done for, and there was nothing that could be done. The battle against Vita was fierce, but Manius and his compatriots would win, bringing Calamity 0 to an end.

The end and aftermath of Calamity 0

The world was in shambles following the end of Calamity 0, and Vita would get to work rebuilding. While she received great criticism from her fellow deities, she would not be phased and would clean up the mess she started. Of course there was the issue of Manius, as he had become incredibly powerful, had gone rogue, and had even been discovered to have worked with Valdemaras Dykstra (albeit this seemed to be a Valdemaras from the future). Either way, Vita was now deathly afraid of Manius and would have had him expunged from The Spiritus Magni had Ozymandias–The Royal God and The Star Eater not stepped in and stood up for him. Drusa and Octavia would also show their support for Manius, with Vita ultimately deciding that the records of Manius would merely be censored. Manius would also be forbidden from accepting new followers… in Universe-0X, per a loophole Vita had overlooked in her delirium from Calamity 0. Manius would fade into the shadows, becoming a wanderer who kept to himself, and pondered his life and how humanity would fare going forward.

The Werewolf Militias had mostly survived, but were too saddened to live on the war-torn Earth. The Wolf God would take those who were pious and fought bravely to his realm, where they could live in peace in the lush tranquility of his forested realm – and the particularly noble and heroic amongst them were invited to join The Wolf God and his wolves in his great marathons across The Dream Realm. Jethro in particular was granted perpetuity so he could join The League proper and fight alongside The Wolf God against The Lost Darkness God and Surtr. Jethro currently works with The Wolf God, The Opiliones God, Spiritus Magni Julia of Universe-23, The Neanderthal God, and The Ankylosaurus God to help keep The Dream Realm safe, and he will occasionally check in with The Spiritus Magni of Universe-0X to see how Earth-0X is doing. Akira would bid farewell to Jethro, Vlad IV, and Fausta and head back to Viridis, and would further head back to his home universe to make sure The Necrotic Angel had not attacked them.

The DHI would round up what remained of The League’s member organizations and take good care of them, with The League joining the DHI. It would take time for humanity to fully recover, and the era of the Spiritus Magni started almost instantly, but thankfully the DHI had growing support from the Spiritus Magni who were not pleased with Vita’s actions. Vita was on the fence about the DHI, but she gave Fausta her blessing recognizing the good she could do, and not wanting to agitate more of her peers. Notably deities such as Neptune, Quetzalcoatl, Anansi, Baldr, Thoth, Anubis, and Horus would join Fausta in helping humanity to recover, amongst others. Of note was that many countries and cities would take on classical names such as Almany, Dacia, Rascia, Rome, and Londinium. As for Caacrinolass, he would spend some time in the shadows observing how humanity healed so he could eventually take on a human incarnation to better help guide humanity.

None of Neue Weltordnung or their allies would survive into The Spiritus Magni era, being either too stupid to survive or being relentlessly hunted by Fausta’s allies. Amramtrong would never reform into what it once was, and any of their members who were dumb enough to stay in Universe-0X would be hunted down and executed. Those who fled eventually splintered and faded into the sands of time where most of them would lead truly miserable lives in remorse of their actions during the Calamity 0 Era. Prokhor and Anselm would stay in Universe-0Y, and Röd Hund would stay under Theophil’s leadership. Satan would vanish without Baal’s presence, the coward that he was. As for Melchom, he would sit in the shadows and plot to lead the rogue and monster vampires to conquer the Earth in time, but with the increasing presence of The League proper, The Eternal Order, and more and more hermetic gods taking interest in Universe-0X, Melchom's ambitions would fade and dissolve into nothing but causing trouble for The Spiritus Magni.

The Spiritus Magni Era

Starting with the year of 1 SME, the recovery of humanity was already off to a roaring start, even if humanity did not realize it. With the corrupting force of the old rich elite of Neue Weltordnung gone, humanity became vastly more productive right out of the gate. Their technology had been set back a great deal to about the 1800s to early 1900s, but the Spiritus Magni filled this deficiency with magic. Many people were scared at first that they would plunge back into war, but the Spiritus Magni and their allied deities were there to guide them back to more traditional lives of self-sufficiency, stoicism, and piety. Humanity became vastly more happy, freed from their bureaucratic enslavement by the evils of the Calamity 0 Era. For a thousand years things would be peaceful and steady, with no interference from outside entities nor invasions from other universes… but this would not last, as Hecate-23 and Karnage were still poking around where they should not have.

Karnage had been plotting the downfall of The Decay God, as he had begun working with The Rotting God, who had always been envious of The Decay God’s standing with The Sepulcher God. Hecate-23 was also not going to give up on her Fool’s Stone and XTRON research, and she needed the magic of The Decay God for those ends. The Rotting God would lure The Decay God to Universe-0X where he would stab him in the back by ratting him out to The Madman of Old, who alongside The Star Eater and The God of Logic, would hunt The Decay God under false pretenses, vanquishing The Decay God in the process. Following the disastrous results of Valdemaras’ mission to capture Buster Ash in The Tower of Babel, The Running God would begin to investigate why The Decay God had died, and why Valdemaras had suddenly shifted his magic practices to that of The Rotting God. The Sepulcher God had been immediately suspicious of Karnage and Hecate-23, but did not wish to say anything lest Karnage turned on him, which would have created trouble for him that could have destabilized the entire Eternal Order.

While The Sepulcher God was interested in the Obsidian Hexecontahedron due to The Running God’s explorations, the real reason for Sepulcher sending him out to explore it further was so that The Running God could have a cover to go find out what had happened to The Decay God. After finding out that The Rotting God was a dirty traitor that was leading Valdemaras astray, The Running God would call on The Lynx God and The President God to get ahold of The Madman of Old to deal with The Rotting God. The Running God would report back to The Sepulcher God, who had figured that Karnage and The Rotting God had been conspiring together. Gudrun would also be notified of this given the assistance she provided AIN-NULL, and several changes to The Eternal Order were made right then and there. Firstly, The Running God would fully adopt the persona of “Volf Blitz” and move the Obsidian Hexecontahedron to The Commercialverse. Hecate-23 and The Profane Alliance would be quietly expelled from The Eternal Order. And The Sepulcher God would quietly withdraw support for Karnage’s Tyrant War scheme.

All of this left The Decay God’s body to rest next to Universe-0X, affecting it in more ways than one. The most alarming consequence of this incident was that Universe-0X discovered The Unlight due to all of the instability that had been triggered. The knowledge gained allowed the humans of the Spiritus Magni Era to discover things they were never meant to discover, further leading to the rise of The Proch’s, Ryder’s, and The Warwik’s, who would eventually create The Proch Hegemony. Vita and Manius were both growing increasingly concerned, but Ozymandias and Tereza–Ar’ton of Water would lend their expertise to Vita and The Spiritus Magni so they could maneuver the issues presented by the Eldritch Barrier being shattered. The revenant of The Decay God would hide in the shadows and begin to guide Valdemaras back to his teachings, but would have to wait until Karnage was dead to properly begin his revival.

The great calamities of the Spiritus Magni Era would shake humanity’s perception of reality itself, but they would continue on. The Decay God’s corpse would affect all magic, creating a rough and hardy form of standard magic that was tricky to master. This led to some complications for humanity given that their magic had been altered, but they eventually figured out how to overcome the difficulties. The rebirth of The Atomic Men as The Machines of Fortschritt at the hands of The Machine God was legitimate act of anger, as The Machine God thought The Proch Hegemony was legitimately going down the path of Neue Weltordnung, but this was worry was quelled by The Madman of Old. Milosh and Valentina’s split was alarming, furthered by Valentina creating The Dukedom of Donnerherz, but Manius promised Vita he would rein the quarreling couple in… to Vita’s vehement chagrin, stating that she would handle it.

The DHI had been behind the scenes managing the challenges presented by The Proch’s discovering The Unlight, but Fausta and The Dracul’s knew they had to start playing hardball with The Proch Hegemony given that the potential for corruption was there. The Spiritus Magni Era saw the outbreak of two world wars eerily parallel to when they had happened during Calamity 0 Era, and Fausta saw this as a golden opportunity to bring Milosh Proch into the fold. Fausta made it clear that Milosh needed to work with the DHI, as Melchom was still out there, and it was his machinations that preserved a lone cell of Amramtrong that would become the Vorherrschaft-Rodentia. This political party was connected to The Rotting God and the cults that had formed around him, but this case seemed to be Melchom legitimately trying to resurrect Amramtrong with the rogue and monster vampires he had managed to save from the Calamity 0 era. With these vampires being deployed behind the scenes during the SME World War I, Fausta used the remains of The Liger Brigade and Magic Anomaly Investigation Group to help Milosh create The Proch Magic Research and Defense Order (PMRDO). The DHI would handle threats from Calamity 0 Era while the PMRDO would handle issues due to the Eldritch Barrier being broken.

The SME World War II saw The Great Vampire Outbreak, in which Melchom had paved the way for vampires to reemerge in the shadows – Most bad, but some good. Fausta had feared such an event occurring, but this time she did not have The Werewolf Militias to back her up. The ones she fought alongside originally had long since passed on, and their descendants only knew of the events of Calamity 0 through myths and legends. She did not have the heart to drag them into a conflict that was not theirs, but one werewolf the DHI was well familiar with returned to lend a hand – Jethro Cottonwood. Jethro had many duties to tend to in The Dream Realm, but he would always make time for the DHI and his original home. Milosh was a bit intimidated by Jethro, as he had heard great stories told of his heroism as a child, and the actions of the Proch Hegemony left him feeling a bit guilty – It was a relief when Jethro patted him on the back and told him he was doing fine, despite his troublemaking. And with The Dracul’s, Leichenberg’s, and even a returning Akira throwing their hats into the ring, Fausta’s vigor had been renewed, and The DHI and PMRDO were able to get control of the vampire crisis and protect humanity from the ancient evils that lingered in the shadows.

Current day and Earth-0X going forward

The feud between Milosh and Valentina certainly stirred things up, causing Ludwig Leichenberg, Rostislav Dracul, and Spiritus Magni Manius to head for The Unlight. Valdemaras Dykstra had also been fairly active, causing great concern for the PMRDO and The DHI. Vita had seen all of this commotion and panicked, declaring she would take action if the conflicts between the PMRDO, Donnerherz, and Fortschritt were not resolved peacefully and amicably. Part of her panic was caused by Manius leaving to go deal with trouble in The Unlight, but The ULTRAMagic Guild has assured her that Manius is fine, and that he has been a great help in dealing with Audoin Dethbrand’s machinations. Melchom’s actions have done nothing to quell Vita’s panic, but Fausta has made great strides in foiling his schemes, and the knowledge gained by the PMRDO each day assures that another Calamity 0 will never happen. Something that haunted everyone regardless of the conflicts they dealt with was all of the hermetic deities and entities of similar dimensional standing meddling and intervening with Earth-0X, given that there were many instances where entities from the past and future converged on the present. Earth-0X is in a bit of a precarious spot despite their progress, but they have the benefit of divine knowledge and inspiration on their side. If the old evils of Neue Weltordnung and Amramtrong ever rear their ugly heads again, humanity will be ready to push back with all of their might and then some.
