UMAE 2024 - Any ideas, Haze?

What's going on here?
Will (ULTRAMagic Ignition, formerly ULTRAMagic Shadow) was sent out on a mission to investigate reports of an entity causing havoc in an abandoned temple in The Deep Unlight. The ULTRAMagic Guild has suspicions that this could be an ANTIMagic Mage, but those chances were slim. Ignition had just gotten back from a mission that ended with the timeline in question annihilating itself through nuclear war, so this was seen as a nice and easy mission to relax his nerves.
What Will, Haze, and the guild did not expect was that there was a mage and it took the form of a blob of pure poison with poison based magic... Will does not want to call for backup given the failure of his biggest mission, but his instincts are telling him to run and get help. Whatever he decides on needs to be done fast as Haze can only hold back the poisonous mist created by the entity for so long.

That's it. If this seems familiar to you and reminds you of One Piece, it is because I have a Shonen Jump volume with Luffy and Magellan's first fight in Impel Down. Those chapters are ingrained into my psyche for some reason, ha. I don't read One Piece by the way.
Yes, Haze has a "hazmat" form. He can turn himself into whatever the wearer needs at the time. He's not perfect at it, but he can get the job done.
