Given that my laptop is on the fritz (Context: at the time of originally posting), what better time to try my hand at DRAWING WITH MY MOUSE! I have Krita, my mouse has adjustable dpi, let's freaking do this! Full disclosure: I used a scene from Spider-Man 3 as a reference.

There are many locations where members of the ULTRAMagic Guild can test their mettle and improve their skills. One location is the Cliffs of Darkness. This wasteland of towering, obsidian mountains is pretty rough and perilous for most. Fortunately Will has Haze. In this form, Will has incredibly versatile elasticity. And if the worst case scenario occurs, Will can use Haze's Soul Fire to burn a hole into the Obsidian to steady himself.

12/20/2025 Me here-allow me to expand on the fact that I basically traced a scene from Spider-Man 3. I wouldn't call this a full trace, as my intent was to use the scene as a reference, but at the same time I have no regrets. This was not done for a commissioner nor have I hid the truth. Plus Spider-Man 3 was a full-blown, Hollywood production by Sony and Columbia Pictures and the filmmakers and studios have made their money back on this. The filmmakers and actors have also been well and truly paid by now. I see nothing wrong in using the scene in question as a direct reference for a concept of mine.
Also I wanted to use this as a learning experience. If I were to do something like this again, I would not have the reference image as a semi-transparent layer. Despite my steadfast nature towards this, I do question my methods which led to a borderline trace. Still, this art is not harming anyone and will stay up.
