Let's talk a little more about Konrad.

Getting ANTIMagic Hex to calm down revealed that Konrad was once human, but something happened to him that caused him to mutate into ANTIMagic Hex. His origin is up for debate as his insight on the matter is inconclusive and he just showed up in The Unlight one day. The running theory is that he is from an IGL universe at a high enough level to mutate him and his magic. Whatever the case is, he expressed desires not to return to that universe.
As a human he has great control over his magic, actually making it more potent and dangerous than when he is in his "dragon" form. Even if his human form is not perfect, the key to maintaining it is keeping him calm. Over-stimulation and heavy emotional distress causes him to lose control and revert back to his dragon form, making him a threat to everyone around him.
Regardless of his current state, The ULTRAMagic Guild leadership has prioritized taking him into guild custody and keeping him safe. He has great potential and the guild would like to foster that potential.
