    So Elaine, what's the deal here? Well her design is based on a few things. Firstly there is obviously the character Embry from It's not me, it's my basement, part of ArcadeKitten's canon. I've seen the gameplay of those games and I love the style and aesthetic. Speaking of aesthetics, Osamu Tezuka's Black Jack. I know jack squat about that series, but I love the look of the titular character. Is it really any surprise that I am paying homage to things that have imprinted on my psyche?

In case you are wondering, she was making bread when Drusa showed up.

    You can probably guess the reference there. So aside from the inspiration, I wanted to have a character that is the poster child for Weave magic in my canon. Now in regards to this drawing, it's actually a second take. Why? I was not satisfied with the first drawing I drew and scanned on my laptop. That's the deal with the discrepancy with the previous two uploads. And this actually a remake of a drawing I did a while back totally not featuring an early version of Elaine, no no no...
