The False Tyrant God shoved the shadow titans aside to get to Blood-Wraith, with Karnage leaping down to confront the one who he had personally ripped the soul out of. “YOU! YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD, YOU INSOLENT WHELP!! YOUR MAGIC COURSES THROUGHOUT ME!”

Blood-Wraith stepped right up to Karnage and got in his face without even a hint of flinching. “The next time you drop someone off at death's door, Karnage? Knock."

Karnage backed up, turned around, and started laughing hysterically. “OH THAT’S JUST DUCKY! IF I KILLED YOU ONCE, I CAN DO IT AGAIN! How would you like me to do it this time around?” The insanity in his voice would have frightened anyone, but not Blood-Wraith. “Perhaps we should show him the iron fist I’ll use to crush everyone beneath!!”

The False Tyrant God sent his mighty fist flying into Blood-Wraith, but he stood still and deflected it with a spectral dragon’s wing, causing the giant to tumble backwards. “I leave for the day and that’s the best you can come up with?”

Karnage stared with his mouth open in shock, as he knew there was no way the Blood-Wraith from earlier in the day could have shrugged off such an attack. “Alright then, I’LL DO IT MYSELF!” Karnage roared as he barreled forward with the stolen might of the Cosmos itself in his hand.

Blood-Wraith inhaled deeply and let out a sharp roar that sent Karnage flying back. “You really are an arrogant idiot, aren’t you Karnage? Did it ever occur to you that Leif, following his final battle with you in the Epoch, made plans for a successor to continue the fight?”

“BUT I HAVE YOUR ULTRAMagic, WHELP!”

“I don’t need it anymore…” Blood-Wraith then momentarily created a glowing sphere of light in his hand, unknowable to those below the tenth dimension. “I’m a true ar’ton now.”

There was a moment of fear in Karnage, as Leif had been his most formidable opponent, even though the dragon was two dimensions below him. Of course this feeling may have also been prompted by the stolen power within him growing unstable, yearning to return to its true owner. “You think you can defeat me? When even Leif couldn’t put me down back in the Epoch?! HA, DON’T MAKE ME LAUGH!” This was followed by more hysterical laughing that was truly unnerving to hear.

“But The Dragon of Old isn’t alone this time, Karnage…” The Madman of Old said as he emerged from his portal, back to his brutalist form. He crossed his arms with a smug grin on his face as he stood next to Blood-Wraith, ready to fight upon given the signal to do so.

“I told Leif he needed help for that battle!” The Hunger pointed out as he emerged from a geyser of blood-like fire. “I’ll have to make sure he doesn’t make those mistakes again as Thaddeus.”

“It is of no issue, for we shall finish his fight here and now,” Ozymandias stated as he exited from a golden portal with Tereza. “This blight on the Cosmos has overstayed his welcome and it is time for him to leave once and for all.”

Tereza summoned a slender, curved sword of anti-ice from her arm and held it at the ready. “Funnily enough this detestable brute never truly had Sepulcher’s best interests in mind…”

“Oh look, a traitor here, a traitor there, whoop dee dee doo daa…” Karnage was mocking in an uncomfortable attempt at a child’s voice, dancing around like a fool who was on the verge of having a self-entitled, mental breakdown. Even the False Tyrant God was starting to get nervous.

“Ozymandias, Tereza, how did you even put up with him when you were with The Eternal Order?” Blood-Wraith inquired, unamused by Karnage’s antics as he kept dancing around.

“We didn’t…” Ozymandias grunted with crossed arms.

Flying over in what sounded like a giant tornado was Wulfric with a look of fight in his eyes. He had been told to stay back, but he felt honor-bound to help Blood-Wraith and was going to make Karnage regret killing the boy in the first place. “KARNAGE, WE SETTLE THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL!” he declared as he pointed his greatsword forward, the winds of justice and retribution howling around its mighty blade.

“OH LOOK, IT’S THE LITTLE NEPO BABY WHO CRIED WOLF!!” Karnage barked back with his form stretching all the way from where he stood, looking truly freakish in a way that would have damaged the mind of any mortal. “WAAHHH, ARE YOU GOING TO GO CRYING TO DADDY MAR-GARGN AGAIN!?! WAAHHH!!!”

“SHUT UP, YOU FOUL HEATHEN!” The Madman roared as he punched Karnage so hard that it hit him through several dimensions. “Here, Blood, I’ll keep Karnage busy while you get ready to cast your magic…” he said as he ran in to start beating up Karnage, tossing around like he was a mere sack of potatoes.

“Thank you, Madman…” Blood-Wraith said with a nod as the group watched the spectacle of fisticuffs ensue.

“Blood, if you deliver the final blow, make it brutal…” Wulfric requested, trying to regain his composure.

“Don’t worry, I will… Also Wulfric, are you going to join us for this rogue god hunt?”

“Lad, I am so sorry for all the trouble I’ve unintentionally put you through. I’ll be by your side for this, even if I have to sit on the sidelines and watch.”

Blood-Wraith shook his hand with a smile on his face. “It’s an honor to have you on board, Wulfric. Now before we get into the main show,” he said with a clap, causing multiple portals to appear. “I’d like to have the rest of the guild here to witness this.” It took a few seconds, but soon every member stepped through and gathered around the group. The Colossus and his fellow giants also approached to accompany Dreadnaught, ready to defend the guild just in case Karnage pulled something dastardly.

“BLOOD-WRAITH!” Dragoslava exclaimed as she picked him for a hug and swung him around. “Don’t ever do that again! We thought you were gone for good for a moment,” she said with tears in her eyes.

“Oh, sister, you know I'd never leave you guys,” he said as he hugged her back.

“Blood, buddy, glad to have you back from the dead,” Desislav said as he also gave him a hug. “Jeez, just look at you now!”

“I know, crazy isn’t it? And to think Leif planned this all out…”

Next up was a hug from Tusk, of which Blood-Wraith was reminded of how muscular he had become in recent years. “Blood, you’re incredibly wreckless, just like the day I met you. Welcome back.”

“Well hey, it’s how I roll…WHOA,” Blood-Wraith was interrupted by Mal, who also bear-hugged him. “Mal!”

“Blood, I agree with Drago-don’t ever do that again!”

“Welcome back, Blood,” Gummi added. “Don’t scare us like that…” The others were also starting to speak up, leading to the start of a cacophony of greetings.

“Guys, guys, let’s save the reunion for when Karnage is six feet under,” Blood-Wraith cautioned aloud with a laugh as the fight between Karnage and The Madman went on in the background.

“Can you really blame them, Blood?” Aureolus asked as he gave his friend a hug, despite Blood-Wraith trying to get away from the hugs.

“No, no I can’t, haha. Glad you were all able to hang on without me.”

Over at the fight, Karnage lunged at The Madman, tackling him. This was followed up by The Madman tossing him back, but Karnage responded by throwing a spear of vile energy into The Madman’s abdomen, accompanied by him leaping up and firing a red laser from his hand. The Madman dodged and ran up, devastating him with a mean punch. Karnage then summoned a bastard sword and tried to slash at his foe multiple times and The Madman had to back up to avoid it. The guild was thoroughly impressed when The Madman then uppercutted Karnage during an attempt to do a jumping slash. Karnage was down and The Madman charged, but the vile god took him off guard with a kick from both legs. An attempt to punch his opponent in the face was met by The Madman grabbing Karnage by the arm and tossing him over his shoulder onto the ground. This received a round of applause from the guild.

As the fight continued on, Morrigan nervously approached Blood-Wraith. “Hey, Bloody-buddy?”

Blood-Wraith smiled and gave her a hug. “Hey, Morrigan. Before anything else is said, I forgive you for everything that’s happened.”

“Are… are you sure? Are you sure I deserve it?” She looked like she was about to cry, but held it in.

“It was never your fault to begin with. Ready for one last hurrah?”

She drew her sword and held it before her. “You have my sword, Sir Blood-Wraith.” This received a round of applause from the entire guild.

“Alright, now let’s get to the really important stuff,” Schwarzes announced. “Blood, what do you have in mind to fix all of this?”

Blood-Wraith clapped his hands together and rubbed them with a maniacal laugh. “Shall I show all of you instead of just talking about it?”

The Madman was tossed back, skidding to where the guild was standing. “I think that would be a capital ideal, Blood.”

“Right, let’s get to it… oh, Mal, your dad says he’s going to be there for you more often.” This made Ozymandias, Tereza, and The Hunger chuckle, with Mal looking a little confused yet happy. “Now, Karnage…”

“WHAT!?!” He screeched, startling everyone with his unstable nature.

“Firstly, rude. Secondly, I didn’t just go to The Ennead to pick up Leif’s power. I came back with something truly special…” First Blood-Wraith snapped his fingers, causing a colossal, spectral clock tower to appear. Five chimes came from it that thundered all throughout The Unlight, and anyone who heard it felt like they had just witnessed a divine act of God. “It’s a shame Gudrun’s not here, but either way she’s got five years before Teunis breaks free of his prison in the far north. And don’t worry, I made sure she knows about what I just did…” Blood-Wraith smiled as he saw Karnage’s dumbfounded face, and looked up at the False Tyrant God who was beginning to run away.

Karnage also saw this and felt his blood ignite. “WHERE ARE YOU GOING, COWARD!?! TRAITOR!”

“No no, Odo, don’t run away…” Blood-Wraith said as he clapped his hands. The giant burst into a cloud of black smoke, with Odo flung to right before Blood-Wraith’s feet, crying tears of great sorrow. A black and red orb of chaotic energy then landed in his hand and it took a second for Blood-Wraith to figure out what to do with it. “Hmm… oh, I know! Hey, Will! Catch!” Blood-Wraith said as he chucked it high up into the air.

A portal opened up in the sky and the one who caught it was… The Tyrant God!? Or was it The Tyrant God? A fragment of The Tyrant God? “Thanks, Blood! Hey, Odo, heads up!” he called out as the portal closed.

Blood-Wraith could see the confusion on everyone’s face and held up his hands. “Please, hold your questions for now, as I have one last curse to cast…” What sounded like an orchestra led by a triumphant rock song came from a great band of gods high up in the sky as Blood-Wraith held up a glowing sphere in the air. Gripping two, invisible handles, Blood-Wraith gently pulled the sphere like he was opening it and out shot an unstoppable burst of light that created a great wave of energy that washed over the entire Cosmos in one fell swoop. Those who welcomed love and reverence in their lives immediately felt confidence and hope empowered them like a gift from the heavens, even if they had no idea where it came from. “I may not be able to undo all of the damage you’ve done Karnage, but I can certainly let everyone know who’s to blame for it. The power of knowledge, light, and love will make sure you never harm the Cosmos that bad ever again!”

Karnage felt it too, like he had just lost in the most spectacular fashion even though he had been poised to win it all. “NO NO NO NO!!! NO!!! ARGH!!! I’LL KILL YOU ALL FOR THIS!!! NO!!! NOT AGAIN!!! YOU WILL NEVER SEE THE LIGHT OF THE COSMOS EVER AGAIN!!! AGAIN AGAIN AGAIN-WHO’S AGAIN?! A GAINE!?!?! I’LL KILL THIS GAINE AS HE’S CLEARLY THE ONE WHO EMPOWERED THE BLOODY IDIOT-MOOTATEEEE DUUTATEEEEE!!!” The incoherent, babbling lunatic began throwing himself to the ground, beating it with his hands that were growing more and more bloody with each fit, even nearly destroying a shadow titan in the process. This one actually tried to leave the shadow titan army in response to this, with Orrgun and The God of The Abyss protecting it when Karnage tried to destroy it once and for all. “CURSE YOU, GAINE!!! I’LL KILL YOU A CENTILLION TIMES OVER WHEN I’M DONE WITH BLOOD-WRAITH!!!”

Everyone else was growing more and more unsettled by the moment, with The Madman looking up to address the turncoat. “Well ain’t that a strange turn of events… Um, welcome to our side, Gaine?” The situation was escalating and The Madman began gesturing for Blood-Wraith to speed things up.

While Karnage continued to have his meltdown, Blood-Wraith finally helped Odo up. “Alright, upsy-daisy, buddy; enough crying in the dirt and mud…”

“But I… but I…” Odo tried to say through snivels and tears. “I did so much harm to everyone! Just leave me be! Leave me to die!”

“Odo, come here,” Dragoslava said as she brought him in for a hug. “You’ve always been like an older brother to me, and we’re not going to just leave you behind like that. Besides, you’re a member of the guild…”

“But I…” Before Odo could say anything else, a crow landed on his shoulder and cawed at him, like the bird was disappointed in him for trying to give up. “Di-Diomedes?”

“Well, it looks like Sylvia has certainly forgiven you,” Dragolsava remarked.

Desislav then patted him on the back. “Look, we can figure this out later, as we still have a problem to deal with. Come on, Odo, stand by us and continue the fight.”

“Alright… I’ll do what I can…” he finally relented, receiving a supportive cawing from Diomedes.

“BLOOD, YOU ABSOLUTE MAD LAD!” Vexation called out as he made his way through the gathering to him. “Those were some of the greatest curses I have ever seen! And I made the damn things in the first place!”

“Thanks, Vex…” he started to reply, only to sense someone behind his back.

“Blood, God bless your soul, BUT DON’T DO THAT AGAIN,” The Screaming God scolded. “Do you not realize how much outside help that last curse needed?!”

“Sorry, Scream, but I needed to set things right in the Cosmos and…”

The Hunger began to notice Karnage preparing something and got Blood-Wraith’s attention. “Not to interrupt the good times, but look!”

Karnage was laughing manically as he levitated twenty-five of the forty-nine remaining shadow titans into the air. “YOU THINK I’M DEFEATED JUST YET YET YET JUST YET HAHAHA!!!! NO!!!” The titans in the air split apart back into the constructs that made them, creating an army big enough for Karnage to still do some damage. “LET’S GO RUMBLE TEAR REND RENDY DENDY HENDY HAHAHAAAAA!!! KILL THEM!! KILL THEM ALL MY ARMY OF EVIL!!! BEEHAHAHAHA!!! HEEHEHEE-HAA!!! HAAAAAA!!! KILL KILL KILL!!! ZAATAA-GAATAA-HAHAHA!!!”

With everyone starting to panic, Blood-Wraith snapped his fingers, calming them for the moment. “If you could be so kind, Dreadnaught?”

“WITH PLEASURE, SIR RAYNOT!” Dreadnaught proudly declared as his cannons let loose a volley that disrupted Karnage’s army, breaking any semblance of formation they had.

“ULTRAMagic GUILD? BATTLESTATIONS!” Blood-Wraith called out, with the guild cheering with their own warcries in support as they charged forward, magic and weapons at the ready.
