ULTRAMagic Archive Volume II - Introduction

AH HAHAHAHAHA, aren’t current times just a great time to be alive?! The internet is being shut down in the name of “protecting children,” the EU is trying to control the entire world, tech prices are soaring through the roof because chip manufacturers are grifting over to the “AI industry,” The U.S. is screaming that the EU is terrible for censoring everyone despite trying to pass KOSA and the SCREEN Act, everybody is ready to go to war with each other, AND I FEEL FINE! Despite all of this chaos, I am still working on ULTRAMagic Alternate. I don’t care what any politician, CEO, or rich elite nutcase says or does, the show must go on. The only way anyone will actually stop me is if they literally come to my house and actually make me kick the bucket… and even then I am going to come back from the dead and keep working on ULTRAMagic Alternate.
The first volume of ULTRAMagic Archive was certainly a strange one. It was incredibly eclectic, unorganized, and subject to a bunch of retcons. Not only that, but a portion of the Lore Entries were just lore dumps I organized into proper Lore Entries. I did not even consider turning them into a proper book until I started posting ULTRAMagic Alternate to Wattpad. And on top of all of this, I’m only doing this book because we are up to Lore Entry 28 as of me typing this. Regardless of my unorganized nature, I do have a plan for this volume. It will be bigger and better, with an emphasis on really expanding what is already there in addition to adding new lore. The first three lore entries of volume 2 have already done this, and I plan to go even further with topics like Atlangea, the Dream Realm, Screaming Gravastars, The Dark Angels, and Hyper Overflow Realms.
As for what has been going on with me, it hasn’t been fun. I’ve switched over to typing to let my arms rest after TWO STRAIGHT YEARS OF WORKING ON ULTRAMagic ALTERNATE… I know, perfect timing, right? Ahem, I still need to get myself a working printer so I can make the full switch, and for the longest time I have had my sights set on a laser printer, but I may need to compromise and go for an ink jet printer for the time being. I know, those are terrible, but things just keep getting worse and worse economics-wise in this dang country of mine and I need to work smarter, not harder. I still don’t have an income or a partner in life, which both suck because I am running out of time. I’m 30 years old as of typing this and it really looks like I am destined to be one of those people who never gets to start a family. Oh but don’t worry guys, clearly I’m just a lazy parasite according to our illustrious society of people claiming they’re making things better and I will be comfortably burning in Hell when I die because I did not start a family and contribute to society!! Oh, and adding insult to injury, I am paranoid I am going to have problems with my roof even though it’s fine, but try telling that to the trauma of having to deal with a third ice dam incident as of 2024… on top of being poor in an area with trash-tier job opportunities.
I have a lot on my mind right now, but hey, you know what you can do to help me and have a good time in the process? You should keep reading, as I can guarantee you are going to have a lot of fun! Lore Entry 26 was a banger with a guest appearance from the impeccable Dead God, Lore Entry 27 is some of my best work yet with a clever allegory hidden in plain sight and was an amazing follow up to Lore Entry 25, and Lore Entry 28 is bound to make you question if I’m all there in the head with the sheer terror of its cosmic horror and grave implications for the whole series. Despite all of the nonsense I go through on the regular, I can always wake up in the morning feeling refreshed and ready to face the day’s challenges (even during an ice dam!). And the funny thing is that no matter how much an authoritarian huffs and puffs, they can never get past step 2. They think they are playing the long game when in reality it is those who are reverent and love God that are truly playing the long game. These bloodthirsty despots will roar as loud as they can with their guns ablaze, and me? I’ll be standing there at the end of time, watching their statues finally crumble to dust and be blown away in the last dead winds of the universe, the final traces of their repugnant empires finally gone from the face of the Cosmos. I won’t be angry, rather I will pity them and wait for what comes next…
Thank you for coming this far with me and bearing with all of that incoherent rambling. Don’t worry, I’ll be fine and will find a way to keep moving forward. No matter what happens, keep moving forward, even if you’re not sure where to go. The path to the light will always be there for you. As for what comes next for ULTRAMagic Alternate, strap in and hold on tight, because it is going to be a wild ride.
