- - Weaver's history - -

Weaver is a survivor of a collapsed timeline. Not all universes are created equally and some are less fortunate than others. Some universes slip through the cracks and Weaver's timeline just so happened to be one of them. That universe was near the ULTRAMagic timeline and was very unstable. While very few managed to escape, the ones who did were cast about throughout reality. Weaver managed to land in the Unlight... not the best place to land in. Regardless, he chose to make the best of his new circumstances. He wandered for a bit until stumbling across a city known as Shadowland. The city was in its infancy and was in desperate need of workers. It just so happened that they needed a blacksmith or two and Weaver needed the work. He was nowhere near as constrained back in his timeline, so he was really able to improve his skill and craft. He became more bold and daring, trying new ways of smelting and forging. Truthfully his family would have been proud if they were there. Weaver became renowned for his smithing in Shadowland and his reputation managed to make its way to other cities in the Unlight.

Eventually universes within the multiverse began to seek out Weaver's skills. Of note was the ULTRAMagic timeline. Valentina Pari would request two guns from Weaver: A Vulcan minigun for herself and a gun for her son, Antonio. The two guns made for the Pari's have yet to falter despite everything they've been through. Another individual of note was Morrigan Devilfay. She wanted a sword and was willing to spend as much as needed. While she only had a loose idea of what she wanted, Weaver had a good idea what would suit Morrigan. He would craft a wicked greatsword named "Sepulcher" that he felt was her. It fit her perfectly. Suffice to say Morrigan was shocked, but accepted the sword regardless. One of his favorite projects was working on the motorcycle of Abezithibod. He did not assemble the bike, but he did forge the parts for it.

Of note when Weaver forges a weapon or tool, he usually makes a lot of noise when he does. He likes to forge his works using the thunder of the Unlight, leading to some of the most wicked storms the Unlight has seen in quite some time. This attracted the attention of the ULTRAMagic guild. Something else the guild was interested in was the fact that Weaver was actually fairly powerful. He was a master Alchemist and had a hidden power. His right arm is a manifestation of a cursed power he holds called "The Beast of Iron." Apparently back in his timeline he had inherited a demon of iron that granted him immense power at the cost of immortality. Naturally the guild offered to let him join, but he declined... but he was more than happy to work with the guild if they needed something made. Weaver wasn't exactly the fighter type.

The rise of the Eternal Church in Shadowland was not a welcome one as they were a bunch of nuisances. The amount of times Weaver had to cave in the skull of a zealot, beast, or aberration is too numerous to count. On the verge of saying screw it and forging a war machine to level Shadowland to get rid of the church, two individuals would be brought to his attention: Gabriella Pari and Sir Odo. Odo was new to him, but he recognized the Pari name. Seeing that the young lady needed a weapon, he forged two flintlock pistols for her. Together with his newfound allies, Weaver was able to drive out what remained of The Eternal Church. Once peace had returned to Shadowland, more people from the ULTRAMagic timeline began visiting. One interesting individual was a demon named Heinrik Rofocale. This demon was a rowdy one, but Weaver was impressed by his fire and tenacity. He would have taught him how to be a blacksmith, but Heinrik was too rowdy for that. Instead, Weaver tasked Heinrik with collecting stuff for him. In return, Weaver does favors for Heinrik. One of Heinrik's favorite pastimes was fighting The Beast of Iron. He has yet to defeat the beast...

The presence of the Metal Empire in the Unlight is very concerning. He's been approached numerous times by General Bismuth and even Eliza-Rex herself. One thing that has always confounded him was why Eliza-Rex wants to hire him from time to time. Isn't she a metal construct? Does she not have a blacksmith of her own? Or is there another motive? Maybe she just likes him? Whatever the case, he gets nervous when around her. Very few people are able to make Weaver nervous and Eliza-Rex is one of them.

- - About Weaver - -

Weaver is a stoic, yet kind-hearted individual. He has a good sense of humor and always remains positive. His parents instilled in him that you should always greet company and customers with a smile. If you're happy, they're happy and will think favorably of you. Another thing his father instilled in him was his work ethic: ALWAYS KEEP IMPROVING. It doesn't matter if you mastered your craft, find a way to outdo yourself, even if there is nothing to outdo. It's the reason why Weaver has gotten as good as he is. Hang out with him during work and you will see him scraping projects because he's not satisfied with the end product. He always notices something he can improve on. He always notices a mistake he can correct. He will never be truly satisfied because if he is truly satisfied, that means he has grown stagnant and lazy. Of course he is a bit unorganized at times, but it's a mess he understands and knows. He needs everything to be in a specific place. Very few things bother Weaver. Do not clean his place without his supervision, don't try to modify his work, and do not try to scam him. Other than that, he's very patient and willing to work with his clients and customers. Also don't bother him when he's tired or hungry because he gets a bit irritable.

Yes, the timeline most of my characters hail from is the ULTRAMagic timeline. Also there's Heinrik again! Perhaps we're going to be meeting him soon.

So yes, it's about time we got another Alchemist and I did not elaborate on the lore... I'll have to dedicate an upload to Alchemists in my magic system. This character idea just sort of came spontaneously and I also wanted to get artsy with hair. I wanted to do something unique. Tell me what you think. Like I said above, this was supposed to be uploaded sooner, but I did not get around to it. Why was that? Simple, that was the week I was having internet issues, as mentioned here: ULTRAMagic Disciple. Anyways, Weaver definitely has an interesting role in my canon, being responsible for a lot of weapons and tools used by my characters. Obviously Gabriella was not the first to venture into the Unlight. Shadowland isn't out of the way in the grand scheme of things despite how I made it sound in her upload. It's one of the more popular cities to stop and rest at. Plus it is very similar to the township Weaver came from in his original timeline.

There's not much else to say at the moment... I say that when I know full well that I remember something I forgot to add in. I'm going to be on my laptop Thursday and Friday, so it's not that big of a deal. I am looking at the notes I wrote down on the drawing and I seem to have gotten everything. Speak of the devil, I obviously included the colors I used. The black and gray not present here are his boots. They are steel toed boots that are primarily black with silver over the toes.
