Ben 10 - Will and Ben at Mr. Smoothy's
Art Page - Master Post - Patreon
Did you guys know I'm a die hard Ben 10 fan? NEVER GOT TO FINISH OMNIVERSE, but that doesn't change the fact I've always loved this series. And I especially loved the art style of Omniverse.
I was doing something else this morning, but then I had the idea to draw something Ben 10 related... and then I thought about drawing Will-23 in the Ben 10 Omniverse art style. I did have to look a reference of Rook to give myself an idea of how I wanted to draw Will-23, but wow, I think he actually fits in pretty well aside from his obvious design differences.
Also ULTRAMagic Alternate and Ben 10 Omniverse would be perfect for a crossover, and it's not just because the multiverse is involved in both series, even though that's a big part of it. UMAE is serious, yet light-hearted. There are moments of suspense, but also moments of comedy. Honestly Ben would fit in well with the Universe-23 crew. Also Will and The ULTRAMagic Guild could easily get to Ben's universe.
So what's going on here? Will-23 is in Ben's universe investigating an anomaly relating to Audoin Dethbrand when he stumbled across Ben himself. The two hung out, dealt with one of Ben's foes, and then went to Mr. Smoothy to get some smoothies... and then Vilgax showed up. Suffice it to say Will is ready to tussle.
"Don't worry, Ben, I'm not underestimating him; I've just dealt with arguably worse, ha!"
The only thing that tripped me up here was the clouds, but I found a brush that works just fine. And I'm color picking from official artwork for Ben, which threw me for a loop because look the difference between Ben and Will.
If anyone wants me to do more Ben 10/ULTRAMagic Alternate art, PLEASE ASK ME TO DO SO! Good lord, I would love to learn how to draw the art style of Ben 10 Omniverse. Also if you check out the lore for ULTRAMagic Alternate, you'll quickly see why I'd argue it would be a perfect crossover candidate for Ben 10, ha.
