Hey, I haven't drawn a primordial from ULTRAMagic Alternate in a very long time! And this time we have one that has had multiple appearances in the books.

Also I am going to forego posting this on Newgrounds because this was experimental and I don't feel like getting spammed with 1 star ratings. Go ahead and critique this, I just don't want that to come with the expectation that this has to be high art and I'm not allowed to experiment.

    In the ancient past, during the Epoch of the Cosmos, when God created the Primordials to pave the way for Man, two Primordials went against the will of God and created three Primordials of their own... Through passion and divine inspiration, The Sulfur of Old and The Mercury of Old came together and created three sons:
  • The Child of Old, an alchemist who would go on to became a great scholar of Atlantis and be elucidated by Poimandres
  • The Hunger of Old, a proud warrior with a thirst for battle and justice who would help hunt down gods who defied The Source...
  • And The Fear of Old... a curious boy who fears all, knows all fear, and sees all fear...
    While The Fear of Old is terrifying entity to encounter, he is ultimately harmless. The lad merely wishes to draw, bake cookies, and spend time with his family... but that does not stop him from noticing the shadows... the bumps in the night... the feeling that you are being watched... the dark thing standing behind you right now... Should you cross paths with him in your dreams tonight, stay close to him. The fear he feels is all around you, and it would not be pleasant to wake from a vivid nightmare...

    And if you want to know more about him and his lore, read the books! I'm serious... read the books. The Fear and his brothers appear in them.

    I wanted to try a quick drawing of a character partially obscured by darkness, where you actually can't see parts of their body. I was watching some creepy animations of Gaster with G Man's lines and I got inspired. I may try more of this eerie, black and white art in the future. Seriously, I want to do more horror art.

     ULTRAMagic Alternate is the story of Blood-Wraith Raynot, a founding member of The ULTRAMagic Guild.
