UMAE 2026 - Dark Angel Exhehal
Art Page - Master Post - Patreon

You guys are getting a night time upload because I sketched Exhehal and wanted to take that recent sketch and turn it into a full picture. We've already gone over several Dark Angels, those being Zozena (Valentina), Ezomathon, and Lemogethon, so let's introduce a new one. I have others sketched in my sketch book, so you will inventively see them drawn in one form or another.
Annoyingly, I don't have a lore entry for Dark Angels yet... Yet. Given a primal angel that appeared in my dreams recently, I'll have to see what the Dark Angels have to do with Screaming Gravastars... Lore Entry 28 does touch upon the Lost Era, however, and this upload will touch upon that subject.

Despite the reclusive nature of the enigmatic dark angels, some do leave their home realm of Luna and venture out into the Cosmos. Standing at over 20 feet tall is the eccentric Exhehal, a ninth dimensional dark angel with a knack for sticking his business wherever he pleases. This started when the Primal Angel Hatanathos entered into modernity and began working with Andromalius of Universe-23 to study Screaming Gravastars and how Lost Era entities use them to leave the Lost Era. Exhehal had heard of Zozena's exploits with The Descendants and decided he wanted a piece of the action by partnering up with Hatanathos and Andromalius.
Getting to explore the Cosmos more, Exhehal began wandering into various universes to see the sights and exercise his might when necessary. The most notable instance of this was Universe-XX444, a universe drenched in evil and sin. A truly foul, degenerate entity of great evil had assumed control, dragging Earth into the depths of depravity to such a point where people proudly declared that evil was stronger than good and that it had secured eternal victory. But there was a young lady who retained hope and called out into the foreboding void as loud as she could in one last desperate attempt to save her universe... only for the strangest entity she could imagine to answer her call.
Exhehal was astounded by what he saw and rightfully disgusted, so he unleashed the apocalypse on that Earth. Plagues, natural disasters, and unending wars shook the grasp of the great evil, and led to a confrontation between the two. The entity was a horrid, wretched being whose mere manifestation rendered sanity and reason non-existent. It was a perpetually screaming woman who always hovered laying on her back facing the sky, but no sound ever came from her mouth and her movements were so smooth in an unnatural way. Such a description may seem trivial, but any man who witnessed its unholy atrocity either died screaming into oblivion or was immediately corrupted by the entity.
Exhehal laughed in the face of this great evil, as he knew she had never seen the horrors of the Lost Era like he had. He was so unimpressed that he did not even vanquish her. Instead the dark angel called upon Gaia itself, who screamed in burning rage, ripping the great evil from the realm of eternal darkness it called home and dragged it to the deepest, most forbidden depths of Inferno where it would burn for eternity for its irreverence towards God. With his job finished, Exhehal would return to Luna for a rest, but was followed by the noble and brave lady that summoned him in the first place. Henna Sulzbach wanted to learn about the true nature of the Cosmos, and Exhehal could not say not to someone as tenacious as that.

If you're wondering what the inspiration for Universe-XX444 was, it was Twin Peaks. No, I have not seen that series and don't plan to, but I am aware of some of the lore. Exhehal is nearly a god and everyone underestimates how powerful 9D entities can be. The Great Evil of XX444 should consider herself lucky that it wasn't Nacht, The Alkainting God, The Virus God, or The Madman of Old after her...
And if you're reading between the lines with that last paragraph, this had nothing to do with The Eternal Order, Exhehal was just out wandering in the backwoods of the Cosmos. Not every conflict is because of Karnage, Audoin, or The Sepulcher God, although Audoin definitely had his eyes on XX444...
