- - Who is Will? - -
William Ford II is... not that special all things considered. He is an American Dullahan who is a tad shy, into anime and video games, draws art, and studies the occult. He had a fairly normal childhood. There is not much to talk about aside from a few mundane childhood occurrences. Sure he saw a strange man at his doorstep and has vague memories from his infancy of someone visiting him, but relatively normal regardless. Now his teenage years are where things get interesting. A fire devil by the name of Faustus began whispering into his ears. Will did not realize it, but he was being pushed in the direction of studying the occult. Eventually he met Faustus who was interested in being one of his partners in Necromancy. Things were going great until something went wrong...
Will and Faustus got themselves into an incident that threatened Will's life. It was do or die and the fire devil had one option: Possess Will and merge with him to enter a powered up form. This was dangerous as Will was not ready for something like this. Sure, they were able to defeat the threat... or did they? Sensing the impending disaster, two Angels close to Will spiritually, Af and Hemah, stepped in and got the berserk devil fusion out of there. They disappeared in a flash, but those who saw it would have seen the monster get tangled up in flaming chains. Will and Faustus were separated with Will's memories being suppressed. Faustus was not being taken away from Will, he would just have to avoid his partner for a while. And what sucked was that Faustus was planning to introduce Will to his wife, Mira (an Ice Devil).
Things went normally for Will after that. The memory suppression worked and he carried the rest of his teen years as he should. Something interesting happened at age 20: Will met an Alien. This Alien life form was named Kyu #9, or just "Kyu" for short. Kyu was an odd one, but Will took to him easily. Kyu was incredibly smart, quirky, and loved to talk. This jived perfectly with the 20 year old as he also loved to talk and enjoyed learning. Kyu would become Will's motivator and helper, guiding him and being there for him in general. This was a good thing as around this time Will discovered he was a Dullahan... his head popped off at complete random. Will naturally panicked, but Kyu was there to scour the internet and find out what was happening. He found out that his friend was essentially a Celtic fae of death... Quite fascinating, truth be told.
- - Meeting New Friends - -
Around 2018, Will met an oddball alchemist over the internet: Samantha (Morrigan). Things were a little awkward at first, given Will's habit of making a fool of himself on the regular, but they hit things off. The two had an equal interest in magic and were looking to branch out. Will had been studying Necromancy with an interest in Alchemy and Sam was the same for Alchemy and Necromancy. The two began teaching each other and the relationship blossomed. Two years later they would end up becoming a couple. It should be noted that Faustus was allowed to reunite with Will during this time, but was advised to watch what he talked about around him. Aside from Will having strange feelings towards the devil, things seemed to be fine.
2020 was an eventful year for Will, Faustus, Kyu, and Sam: Kyu had gotten them a house out in the countryside, secluded and peaceful. Well... it was secluded except for the curious man living across from them. This charming, handsome man was Antonio Pari. He was a model and an actor who was just going about his business. Kyu had actually been in contact with him on account of looking for a house that was off the grid so-to-speak. The house Antonio had in mind was the one right across from him that was not worth much at all. Why was that? Simple: it was haunted and failed to sell so many times. The relator did not give a shoot about Will and company, they just wanted to sell the damn house. Antonio took to Will and his friends very quickly. Something about them just drew him to them. It was soon realized that Antonio was a demon in disguise.
And yes, Faustus did finally get the chance to introduce Will to Mira.
In 2021 Faustus had the idea of contacting one of his friends from Purgatory to see if he would be interested in tutoring Will and Sam. This man was Randalph Scarfe, a goatman from Limbo. He was quite the mage, regarded as a master in his homeland. Randalph was quite the lovable gentleman, being kind, courteous, and patient. Will and Sam definitely gained a great deal of knowledge from him. Randalph would end up staying with Antonio since he needed some company and he sort of knew who the spider demon was due to a prior encounter. Antonio also took the opportunity to call two of his friends to come stay with him for a bit: Buster Ash and Olivia Briggs. These two were a journalist duo: Buster did the reporting while Olivia got him the scoops he needed. At this point things were getting pretty active, but that was fine with Will and Sam. The people Faustus and Antonio had brought in were legitimately cool people... Plus Will got to tease Buster for being a journalist.

And finally in 2022, Will was reunited with a childhood friend of his: Antares Briggs, a captain for the Liger Brigade. He was Olivia's cousin and he had been ultra interested once he learned that his cousin was staying near one of his old friends. Antares and Will were good friends that took different paths in life. For Antares, that was joining the freelance military force, The Liger Brigade. They were noteworthy for blending magic and technology... and doing the jobs that needed to be done that some were too cowardly to do, but that's beside the point... Antares was ecstatic to see Will studying magic and doing well at it. Despite Will's apprehension of military related business, he had to offer him to join. Despite Will saying no for the time being, the group would become more involved with the Liger Brigade as time went on.

Interestingly this would introduce Will to Trumna Wintergate, a member of M.A.I.G. (The Magic Anomaly Investigation Group). This was a government funded organization that the Liger Brigade worked closely with. Let's just say M.A.I.G. has a file on Will...
- - In Regards to Will - -
Personality... Will is a wild card in that department. He's friendly... if a bit awkward due to his shyness and anxiety. He means well and loves to socialize when he feels comfortable enough. That bar is not hard to get over. Will is a thinker for better or for worse. He loves to ponder and philosophize... but he also has a tendency to overthink things, become paranoid, and jump to conclusions. On the bright side, this does not stop him from learning and being creative. Now Will does have a stubborn streak. He can be pretty adamant at times, but this is not necessarily a bad thing. The bad is that he can easily get stuck in a rut, being too afraid to move forward. This has caused him to stall on things he should be doing in life. The good is that he will not give up, even if he is screaming at the clouds. Even if he is up against the wall, he will try to climb it no matter what when he really wants something.
Temperament-wise, Will has a long, but fast burning fuse. He is easy to anger, but can calm himself down before he goes off. This is characterized by him just straight up disengaging from the thing that was stressing himself out. Some things ignite his anger while other things are just not worth it. It is not anger for the sake of anger, it is just that he feels his intelligence is insulted on the regular. Despite all of this, he is an optimistic realist and open minded. He's also highly spiritual while being interested in science and philosophy. On an ending note, he likes to talk... a lot. He will not cut you off, but he does tend to ramble.
In regards to Will being a Dullahan, Will has a good amount of Irish ancestry and this seems to be a pseudo-curse that runs in Irish blood. Will can open locks and his head pops off... the former is finicky and the latter can happen when Will is startled. Fortunately an inherent magic protects his head from harm. Also note that smoke can emanate from his neck at the separation point, the color depending on his mood (purple is the neutral color).
In regards to his partners for Necromancy, currently Will is partnered up with the couple Faustus and Mira. Faustus is a fire devil and Mira is an ice devil. The two devils are married and take interest in Will. Mira adores him and Faustus views him as one of his best friends. These two give him fire and ice magic, as to be expected. Ornias is Will's first true demon contract, but that will happen at a later date. In regards to Alchemy, Will is apt at making and enhancing metals. The robes he has were picked out by Sam, with help from Ellen the Wayward.

Let's talk about my robes for a second. I had a blast with these. Did you know Alchemy is the coolest thing to work with for writing? Seriously, I may have to start studying Alchemy in addition to my occult studies. The robes are one big reference, drawing from what I know of Necromancy and Alchemy. I mean, it should be kind of obvious given the seal and symbols surrounding it. The color scheme was giving me a little trouble as I wanted it all to be in reference to the 4 step process for making a philosopher's stone, but then I remembered a certain song... Black then white are all I see, in my infancy... Red and Yellow then came to be, reaching out to me... Lets me see... I had fun... AS BELOW SO ABOVE AND BEYOND I IMAGINE. Also I am introducing long haired me into the mix... I already did that, but here is the proper introduction.
Yes, all of the characters I have mentioned will get their time in the spotlight in time. Obviously I need to do more than character profiles... I really should start writing a story, shouldn't I? And drawing my characters interacting... (sigh). Tell me what you think. I got a bit artsy this time around, experimenting and whatnot.
