    Lyev is the OC of my friend, Alex. Lyev was a Papers, Please OC. I actually drew Lyev and a past version of my character a while back, but it was exclusive to Tumblr. I'm going to assume Lyev is slavic because firstly the name... and secondly the setting of Papers, Please is themed around Russia, the Balkans, and East Germany. Also apparently the name Lyev can be both Slavic and Hebrew, but that is the Slavic form of the name.

    No, we are not in the UMAE Balkans in this scene.

    What can I tell you about Lyev? I don't know, I was lazy back then. Alex probably had some lore or story for Lyev and I was too lazy to go looking for it... I'll have to bug her, ha. Lyev is not a part of ULTRAMagic Alternate, but I can tell you this right now: If he was, he would be placed firmly and squarely on the SFW only list. Unlike me, Alex is normal.

    I would have had this up Tuesday, but I was incredibly unfocused this week. So now we're here... at least I am not burnt out and I am glad I took multiple days to work on this. Working on this all in one day would have had me into the late hours of the night, completely exhausted. Why are these two on a train? They're going somewhere because Vlad is showing Lyev around... in America. Yes, this takes place during current day UMAE. It is winter out, pretty stinking cold, and Vlad is tanking that cold like the champ he is.

    This was fun. High detail drawings are fun to work on, not going to lie. As for why I drew Vlad in a similar pose to his debut, well I needed to draw him again in my current style. Now that I have done that, I should be able to draw him more. I just needed to get a handle on drawing him now since it has been so long.
