As for the basics:
Tusk is a Tree Person living in The Unending Forest, always found within The Unlight. The Tree People are a species of Humanoid trees that mind their own business and keep to the forest. They are a peaceful people unless disturbed, in which they will return the favor. The Tree People tend to be traders, craftsmen, scholars, mages, alchemists, and blacksmiths. They are widely known throughout The Unending Forest and are also regarded for being in tune with the forest itself.
Tusk is a loner and a sullen mage. He prefers to spend his time wherever he can be alone, usually to sleep or ponder his thoughts. He is always well hidden, being difficult to find. Of course, his family members always know where he is. He was not always like this, however. Something happened that altered the way he views things, leading to a somewhat jaded outlook on life. It does not help that things are fairly calm in the forest, but recent events forcing him to act may just be what he needed...

For real, I am going to be doing my best to make my art a lot more interesting than it was before. No, I have not perfected my art yet. You can tell just by looking at this upload. Anyways, I wanted to try new stuff as per usual. Thankfully the setting Tusk resides in allows me to get a bit more artistic. Also I swear to God I am going to figure out how to properly shade and light my damn drawings.
Alright spoilers, read to chapter 8, the most recent chapter as of uploading this. That description also has some other relevant info on Tusk here. As you can see, There were things I could have discussed... if I wanted to spoil things that happen in the story. Also yes, I am going for the doppelganger trope/look here given the origins of the character.
