Mary: Okay, that's better. Still, what do you want with Will?

???: He is amongst a group of individuals of interest to us. We believe Will in particular to be related to a specific primordial.

Mary: Right... Well he's allied with some powerful groups. You better make it worth my while if I'm going to have Antares and Trumna breathing down my neck again...

???: We'll offer you 75% upfront and 100% more if you bring him to us with sound body and mind.

Mary: GRAND COULEE DAM! I'll have to apologize to Will profusely after this...

    Mary Pickford is a bizarre anomaly of an individual under close watch by The Liger Brigade and M.A.I.G. She's one of the few known 2 dimensional entities existing within the 3rd dimension. The other stand out trait is that she seems to be a living cartoon character. Having emerged from a black and white film reel in the 1920s, Mary appears as a real life inkblot cartoon and a wide array of aberrant magic abilities that make her borderline invincible (fortunately her code of honor and psychopomps seem to keep her in check). Due to not being able to fit into society, she has taken up the career of a bounty hunter (widely different from the pop culture perception of bounty hunters).

    Despite being a problem on a regular basis, Mary is a valuable ally as her escapades give insight into the criminal underworld. This has allowed, the Liger Brigade, M.A.I.G., The League, The Devil's Brew Coven, and The Red Order to stay one step ahead of scum, corruption, and villainy.

    I pretty much said what I had to say about the Art Deco stuff above. I love how I incorporated inkblot style into my avatar, yet have yet to draw any inkblot stuff to a meaningful degree. This doesn't fully count. Also here's a quick clarification on Mary's appearance: Despite me drawing her in a more anime style, she canonically appears as a cartoon character in real life. There will be more to this when I do the lore post related to Mary. And yes, she is named after a 1920s Prohibition era Cocktail.
