Important Context: The concept for Blood-Wraith presented here is radically different from what appeared in ULTRAMagic Prelude. Blood-Wraith originally was not the protagonist of the series and this concept was not actually for this art. Originally Blood-Wraith was just going to be a intimidating and mysterious side character, but evolved into the lovable goofball we all know when I made him the main character of ULTRAMagic Prelude and the entire series. Still, this will be preserved here for obvious reasons.

ULTRAMagic Blood-Wraith is one of the most bizarre and powerful members of the ULTRAMagic guild. He is a wretched entity, born from a curse, with the knowledge of how to manipulate Cause & Effect. He is also one of the rare few who know how to cast true curses. Blood-Wraith was one of the earliest members of the ULTRAMagic Guild and predates its founding. He is very close to the chronicler known as Dragoslava the Indomitable. He considers her to be his older sister.
Entities that can manipulate Cause & Effect are very concerning to higher entities. Even 7th dimensionals sweat around these individuals as Cause & Effect is not something to be trifled with. There is a very good reason why these individuals are as rare as those that can use true curses. To be fair, it does take a lot for someone like Blood-Wraith to really tug on the strings of fate. The smallest animal can inflict the most grievous wounds, however.
In our time, Blood-Wraith was born on April 8th. Every year on his birthday, he will have a memory. What is that memory? His birth. He remembers that he was born. And it is that point where he pops into existence, without fail. This makes his existence a paradox, making all 5th dimensionals confused and irritated to no end. Many parallels have been drawn between Blood-Wraith and two other members, Disciple and Entropy.
For those that are curious, his magical aptitude is Alchemy. For the longest time he had no specialty, but that changed when he learned how to use curses. He also takes interest in Necromancy and Void magic. His current fascination is Weave magic.

And that's it this time! I am going to save a lot of Blood-Wraith's lore for that story project, but yes, that is his young self in the flashback. Also don't forget to wish him a happy birthday on April 8th.
I am a little surprised I finished this one today, but I was also very passionate about this one... and actually thought I could have had it done sooner. Blood-Wraith was interesting to draw as I was not sure what the design was supposed to be. Originally it was supposed to be this horrific, tribal-looking aberration; clacking and clicking while he made bizarre and jerky movements. As you can see, that's not what I went with. I like coming out of fire look he has going on here.
What's with the background? Some websites bug out when I post a transparent PNG (cough) Twitter (cough). I might as well try adding in backgrounds to make things more interesting.
