- - Stark Devious - -

So Alfonso is an oddball. He is the son of Stark Devious (Real name: Clarence Thatcher Whitters. Yes, demons usually have Earth names outside of the noteworthy ones), a scorpion demon who is one the premier film directors of Hell, specializing in R-Rated and Adult-Only films. When Stark Devious gets on the job, things get done! He is fiercely dedicated to his craft and will not settle for mediocrity. He definitely has a reputation in Hell for his full-steam ahead approach to filmmaking. He wasn't always like this though. As a child he was fairly normal and unassuming. In fact, his thing was that he was normal. At some point during high school, he snapped and had the mighty need to do something... filmmaking. While his first films weren't great, he got praise for dedication and doing his own stunts... There were always bets running for how he would hurt himself that week. He would also take on the pseudonym of Stark Devious, which turned into a quasi name change in the near future. Stark would eventually hit it big with his film To Hell, To Earth, and back again! which was an R-rated, gritty action flick on par with Earth's 80s action movies. This led film studios to realize that he had potential, so they started hiring Stark more often.

Stark was on a roll with his films. He had hit after hit... albeit with a few sleepers here and there. Regardless, he began getting invited to parties and events thanks to his success. Usually the organizers would show advanced screenings and previews of his upcoming projects. Some of these parties even gave him good feedback on how to improve some of his films. One event had him cross paths with a particular Duke of Hell, Valentina Pari. The two got chatting, both got drunk, and did the business... They had a good time and do not regret that night whatsoever. This however mar the start of Valentina not being careful and accidentally baring children. They quickly found out about this and Stark begged the duke not to get rid of the child... Valentina was confused as she was not that kind of person. She would be happy to bear the child and bequeath them to Stark. Of course she realized she would have to keep an eye on them due to Stark being a bit of a loose canon. She would lend a hand whenever she could since Stark was never one for relationships...

- - Alfonso - -

Finally: Alfonso Thaddeus Pari. Due to Valentina being a duke, Alfonso inherited her surname. It should be noted that Alfonso was born a bit before Antonio (14 years). By the time Antonio was born, Alfonso was well into his mid teens. Alfonso had a weird childhood as his father was always working. Naturally Stark had to bring his son with him and this caused him to move into doing PG and PG-13 movies for a while. It was definitely an interesting phase of his career. Alfonso loved being on set with his dad. He got to see how movies were made, he got to meet all sorts of actors and artists, and he got to see the movies before anyone else did. This imprinted a desire in Alfonso to get into the film industry in the future. Aside from being an extra in Stark's tamer films, Alfonso didn't really get a chance until he turned 17. It was at this point where his father was working on the Gunpunk action thriller Blood and Bullets: Beyond the Inferno. A problem popped up where the lead had dropped from the film before shooting. They needed someone and fast... and that's when Alfonso stepped up to the plate. He had some experience acting, but he knew he would have to bring his A-game for this role.

And you know what? The film was a hit! Alfonso brought a fresh blood charm to the movie and was able to bring life to his character. It was still obvious that he was a newbie, but audiences didn't care and enjoyed the movie. This allowed Alfonso to get more work and he made a name for himself alongside his father. Of course at some point, Alfonso wanted inspiration for his work... so he incarnated as a human on Earth during the early 19th century. Somehow he managed to get tangled up in the Napoleonic wars as a soldier defending against Napoleon's forces. He would meet a soldier on the battlefield who was clearly a woman in disguise, but a good fighter regardless. The two duked it out for some time before coming to a draw that would end both of their lives. Alfonso would jolt awake once his consciousness returned to him. He was in pain, but he gained so much from that lifetime. It breathed new life into his acting and led to a string of very interesting performances, inspired by his escapades on Earth.

Once Alfonso hit his mid twenties, something changed in Stark and Alfonso: They wanted to do Adult-only films. This was most likely due to Alfonso getting into latex clothing around this time. They were definitely something and saw modest success. During a particularly interesting film shoot, he met a woman who he had encountered in his human lifetime. Her name was Cheryl and she gave him a good punch in the gut. It was to be expected and he took it in stride. She then refused to leave him alone as one does not simply forget someone like that. Now after some time, Alfonso felt the need to change things up: He wanted to be a talent manager. He felt he could impart his acting knowledge to up and coming actors and felt he could guide them into successful careers. It was hit and miss: Some actors went on to bigger projects while others quit prematurely. Alfonso would have a string of quitters and this would end up burning him out. In general he was a bit worn out, so he tried something that he had tried before: an incarnation as a human on Earth.

Alfonso the human would be just a normal store clerk, running a family owned business. One faithful day, a group of professionally dressed men entered the store...carrying guns. They were led by a red-haired Italian-American man named, you guessed it, Antonio. They were there to appropriate supplies and they wanted a special discount. How could one say no with a gun barrel pointed at their head? This nearly ruined Alfonso's store, so naturally he was more than happy to tell the police who robbed his store. This felt wrong though, but he could not figure out why. Note they did not have proper access to his true memories, so his human self had no idea who Antonio was. And as history played out, the shootout that took Antonio's life transpired. And as if an act of karma, Alfonso would be hit by a police cruiser on the way to the shootout...

That wasn't exactly the greatest experience. Alfonso woke up back in his room with a roaring headache and massive pang of guilt in his stomach. He was NOT about to attempt that again, so it was back to work. Not too long after, something very interesting happened: Stark had a new actor on his payroll. It was Antonio... with no memory of who he was. Alfonso had always wanted to meet his brother, but this was not the time for that. It sucked too because Alfonso always felt bad for not having time to meet him. Despite the circumstances, Antonio was a great actor. Things were great at first...until Stark revealed how awkward he was. He had a crush on Antonio, but personal space and social grace wasn't his forte. It never escalated to harassment, but Stark definitely made Antonio uneasy. This is where Stark's son, Alfonso stepped in. Alfonso and Antonio were filming rivals, but he gave Antonio a reprieve from his father by letting him hang out with him at his place.

It was here that Antonio would meet one of his best friends, Cheryl Garnier. Cheryl was a feisty demon who had died in the Napoleonic wars, having disguised herself as a male soldier and having died in battle. Why was she hanging out with Alfonso? Simple, Alfonso was the one who had ended her life on the battlefield. Cheryl enjoyed messing with Alfonso and she also found he was a pretty cool dude to hang with... when they weren't fighting each other back on the battlefields of Earth. After hanging out with Alfonso long enough, Antonio came to a realization... ALFONSO WAS THE RAT THAT CALLED THE COPS ON HIM AND THE BOYS! Antonio promptly decked Alfonso in the face. Before Cheryl could jump down Antonio's throat, Alfonso took it in stride and admitted he deserved it. Antonio quickly began regaining his memories after that.

Currently Alfonso is still doing his thing as a talent manager. While he is sad that Antonio doesn't trust him, he does his best to be a supportive older brother. He's also trying to get in with Antonio's current manager...

- - About Alfonso - -

Alfonso is an actor through and through. He also has an eye for talent. He is a fast talker, but in a way that you instantly absorb. Due to his career, he is observant and analytical. He knows what he's looking for and where to find it. As an actor he is always full of energy and ready to improvise if need be. Unfortunately he does have a habit of occasionally needing to do a scene multiple times due to not being satisfied with his performance. Naturally has insane charisma, which is due to him knowing how people work, what people want, and how people generally act. He could legitimately sell you a pen from the corner of your desk on the grounds that it will change your life for the better. This is just his outward appearance, for when he is in business mode. Casually he is very artistic and sociable. He loves to talk and tell stories about his acting career. He's also got a piece of advice for most situations due to having been through a lot over the years. Filmmaking always has an issue or SNAFU that needs to be dealt with and they are excellent learning experiences... for better or for worse. Of course Alfonso does have regret as sometimes he feels he's a little too upfront with how he presents himself. Also he harbors regret for not being there for Antonio. He was always busy, so he practically had no time to devote to his younger brother. He also questions his dad's work ethic sometimes. And yes, he has a tendency to be critical of himself.

Well jeez, sorry about that. I did not mean to write an entire essay. My brain is kind of fired at the moment... So uh... yeah, Alfonso... Well I can say the color scheme was last minute given that I had no idea what I wanted to do with him. I think it turned out interesting. Is Alfonso based on a specific character this time? No actually. Maybe a lick of inspiration from Nergal of Billy and Mandy fame, but that's about it this time. Yes, you can say that is a rubber bodysuit, but the tentacles are his.

Hey look at that! New font! I decided to mix things up and pick a new one. Was I going to pick a new style for the information? Yes, but I wasn't satisfied, so we're sticking with what you see in the drawing for now. Jeez, first upload of 2023 and it's a new character with a bulk load of lore... Yes, Cheryl will definitely get her own upload and ideally Stark should too. This was a fun one to work on given that we are focusing on a less serious side of my canon and Hell. Yeah, my Hell has its own industries and whatnot. Hell is very similar to Earth in that regard.
