The Unlight is home to many strange things. Strange things that boggle the mind and defy our understanding of how reality works. This is one such case:ULTRAMagic Disciple. Disciple is nothingness. To be specific, nothingness with a consciousness. Disciple does not exist, yet he does. There is nothing under his cloak, yet there is something. When you look at him, you see nothing yet the brain registers that something is there. He definitely has a soul of some kind given the presence of the shard representing soul fragments, but it’s a soul that defies expectations. Disciple does not occupy space nor does he occupy time. Despite all of this, he is a person with a personality.
One day he awoke… and had no idea what to do with himself. He had no body and no soul, yet he existed. He had the ambition to walk forward, see what he could see, and hear what he could hear. He had a sense of being and wanted to know what he was. Unclear on what to do, he wandered the Unlight and began to learn what he could. Over time he would begin to collect soul fragments (albeit unintentionally) from those who had been lost to non-existence. These fragments gave him a degree of form and allowed him to interact more with others (he was previously a disembodied voice). He now had a proper soul of sorts and discovered he had magic potential. This caught the eye of the ULTRAMagic guild. He would be sought out by ULTRAMagic Entropy (a living embodiment of Entropy), who would ask him to join the guild.
Disciple cannot be vanquished nor defeated, but he can lose interest and leave. He is not concerned with protecting himself as he cannot die. He also has no interest in conquest. Instead, he wishes to understand reality and beyond. He does however wish to help the guild maintain balance as balance allows him to learn unimpeded. He is the furthest thing from omnipotence, but is often seen as extremely powerful given the nature of his existence. Truthfully he is not all that powerful and still developing his skills. Note that he prefers to stay away from the third dimension as people tend to lose their minds around him. It also behaves oddly given that he is nothingness. Ultimately he prefers the Unlight as it is timeless and does not react weirdly to his mere presence.
