- - Gabriella's History - -
Unbeknownst to many, Duke Valentina had a child before Antonio. That child was Gabriella. Gabriella was a quiet child who preferred to keep to herself and read books. This is the main reason why she is so obscure in comparison to Antonio. It was nothing personal, it's just that Gabriella preferred learning to socializing. Valentina is still unsure why this was the case. Regardless, this led to Gabriella becoming insanely smart to the point where Valentina had to start enrolling her in universities. Specifically she chose Adonai University as it seemed to have the best courses for her up and coming daughter.
Gabriella would end up graduating alongside alumni such as Prince Stolas, but she did not immediately seek out a career. She needed to do some thinking on what she wanted to be. At the time, the strange realm known as The Unlight was opening up to Hell and held vast potential for discovery. This captured Gabriella's interest and made up her mind: She would become an Unlight explorer.
- - Exploring the Unlight - -
It was rough going at first given that the Unlight is very unpredictable. Gabriella definitely had a few close calls during her first expeditions. The biggest threats came from beasts and beings from before reality was even a thing. These primal beings were something else and required the young adventurer to think outside the box. One day, a strange, 1 dimensional entity came to Gabriella's aid. This being was Sir Odo, Knight of The Unlight. He had been watching her and offered to train her in the ways of void magic.

Sir Odo could see it in the girl that she had been using what seemed to be the void to escape scraps and altercations. Learning void magic wasn't too hard all things considered...once Gabriella stopped overthinking things. Void is deceptively simple: You are calling on the void to lend you a hand by giving you access to things that do not exist, yet do exist. It is insanely easy to overthink this kind of magic. Alas, Gabriella eventually got the hang of it. Mastering this form of magic made things somewhat easier...somewhat.
Gabriella and Sir Odo would eventually encounter Shadowland, a country in the Unlight reminiscent of Victorian era England. It would be here where they would set up a base of operations. Of course Gabriella had to return to Hell for a bit to share what she had found. What she did expect was that she had gone farther than everybody had before her.
Suffice to say Hell was thrilled and lauded her as a true pioneer. This led to her shooting up to President in Hell's Pseudomonarchy (For context, she held no rank before venturing out). Valentina was immensely proud of her daughter and begged her to write some books about her adventures. Wanting to settle down for a bit, she figured she would oblige her mother and got to work. She also took this time to refine her magic even further and really think about what she had encountered prior. After some time, she returned to the Unlight. Shadowland had gone to Hell in a handbasket in her absence...
- - Returning to the Unlight - -
According to Sir Odo, she had left right before a fanatical church had come to power, spreading a religion of lunacy and delusion. This had led to an outbreak of beasts and aberrations due to the church's teachings, practices, and medical procedures. Fortunately the church was now in shambles, so the two could clean things up with nothing in their way. Getting things back in order was a handful and not easy. Plus any citizens of Shadowland were hesitant to trust Gabriella and Sir Odo, no thanks to the church. Some did trust them, one being a blacksmith who had been running a workshop for those who wanted to restore Shadowland to its former glory.
This blacksmith went by the name of Weaver Craddock and he was more than willing to help Gabriella and Sir Odo. He would forge the president a set of Flintlock pistols that tapped into her void magic, allowing them to fire magic. In time she would find out that these guns had other properties, including evolutions and their own unique spells. While Shadowland would never truly go back to normal, things got pretty close. With the workshop becoming more successful, Gabriella appointed several fellow mages to watch after the place and to alert her if things went awry. Why this was done was that Gabriella had become homesick and also wanted to explore Hell itself. And that she did.
Currently Gabriella is out adventuring through the unknown regions and layers of Hell. Her findings have been numerous and truly intriguing. Interestingly she is completely unaware that her mother has adopted the Pari surname. She's also currently unaware of her newfound brother, Antonio.
- - About Gabriella - -
Personality-wise, Gabriella still retains her quiet nature. She'll speak if she needs to, but she much prefers to read and study. Unlike her family members, she is incredibly modest, maintaining decency and staying fully dressed when out and about. She's also a neat freak who prefers for things to stay organized so she could find stuff with ease. She'll even organize rocks and wood out in the wilderness if the messiness bugs her enough. Gabriella is enamored with the beauty of nature, be it the Unlight or Hell. It is not uncommon to see her watching a stream of flowing water or relaxing under a tree in the woods. Her quietness seems to stem from the idea that she feels life, reality and nature speaks for itself. Why say what's already been said?
The consequence of this self-imposed loneliness is that she occasionally yearns for company... yet doesn't want to seek it out. That's another side of her: her self-conflict. Due to her intellectual nature, she tends to overthink things. Does she want to meet a new person? Or maybe she shouldn't since that could lead to an awkward situation... Was it really necessary to organize those rocks? Or maybe it was needed to help someone stranded out in the wilderness... Naturally Valentina has been trying to get her some friends to little success. Despite her isolationist nature, Gabriella is willing to open up to people like Sir Odo and Weaver. And yes, her quest for knowledge has gotten her into trouble many times in the past.

I actually forgot to draw her pistols... Oh well, we'll save that for future upload. And What about those 1 dimensionals, Sir Odo, and Weaver Craddock? We'll get to those soon enough, especially Weaver Craddock.
Why yes, I did take heavy inspiration from Bloodborne. Gabriella's attire is based on Lady Maria's attire. If you want an idea for what Shadowland is like, mix Bloodborne and Alter Echo. Now hopefully I did not botch this drawing. I wanted to try something different with the hair and yes! I will be updating Valentina's pictures because I botched up the hair in those drawings. Getting back to the attire, honestly I just love this look. Dang, maybe I should have made the clothes roughed up a bit... Uh, Gabriella occasionally repairs her clothes if they get too roughed up and this is after such a repair.
I was thinking about taking this week off, but I figured I might as well do something before the year ends. So yes, I will be uploading stuff this week. It is going to be all catch up stuff. Nothing new, I got a massive backlog and I am not happy about that fact... And it's like I said previously, you know? I want to get back to Unlight, Hell, and lore stuff. Like I said above, this is the last of the Pari's. I mean, there's a few loose ends here and there, but we've got the main three of the family at this point... Unless Valentina reveals she has a long lost sibling or something like that...
