Spiritus Magni Maxima
Spiritus Magni Maxima is the lost Spiritus Magni of Chaos, 11, Gravity, Heresy, and Learning. She is known for several noteworthy things:
Unsure what to do next, Maxima looked into The Realm of Chaos. It greatly interested her as it was barely documented despite being a cardinal realm. She quickly realized why that was: The realm was a mess. There was structure, but that structure was chaotic, to say the least. A pantheon of gods known as The Discordant Gods of Chaos were also running around with reckless abandon, causing trouble for the Cosmos as a whole. She would go on to help the Arbiters of Droom reign in these gods.
After her escapades in the Realm of Chaos, Maxima journeyed to The Unlight. She was particularly interested in the Deep Unlight and how unknown it was. Due to her inexperience and the non-linear nature of the Unlight, her wanderings led her to the distant past where she would meet The Mage of Old. He was on a quest to “map” the Unlight and had set his sight on levels of it beyond the Deep Unlight. Maxima would help greatly by stumbling on the border of The Trench Unlight. The Mage was eternally grateful and constructed a throne room in her honor in the Magician’s Labyrinth

Spiritus Magni Maxima
Spiritus Magni Maxima is the lost Spiritus Magni of Chaos, 11, Gravity, Heresy, and Learning. She is known for several noteworthy things:
- She was the first goddess to be expelled from the pantheon, yet she kept her honors.
- She helped subdue the Discordant Gods of the Realm of Chaos.
- She was Spiritus Magni Drusa’s first student and took after her teacher’s desire to ascend the dimensional hierarchy.
- She assisted The Mage of Old in building the Magician’s Labyrinth in The Unlight.
- She has taken up the role of watchman for the Spiritus Magni pantheon.

Side note: The Magician’s Labyrinth is intended to be a research station for the parts of the Unlight beyond the Deep Unlight. Currently it is exploring the Abyssal Unlight in hopes of finding a deeper layer of The Unlight. Some of the Ar’ton, natives of the Trench Unlight, respect Maxima for her honors and achievements.
Many events have happened since Maxima returned to her time. Currently she resides in the Magician’s Labyrinth, serving as a watchman for the Spiritus Magni. She has also continued her research to great success. One of her interests as of late has been a Spiritus Magni disguising himself as a sellsword named Captain Roger. Why Spiritus Magni Manius left his universe is unclear, so Maxima asked Drusa if she could do some snooping and intel gathering.
Maxima definitely has some of the strangest domains for a Spiritus Magni. They are as follows:

Maxima definitely has some of the strangest domains for a Spiritus Magni. They are as follows:
- Chaos: Order and Chaos can appear as domains, but not as a primary domain. The same goes for Light and Darkness. Anyone familiar with Octavia knows she also shares this anomaly with her Light domain. A cardinal alignment is seen as arrogant and asking for trouble, as stated by Vita in the past.
- 11: 10 is often viewed as the holiest number, representing God… so why does 11 exist? This has always perplexed Maxima. Vita has always told her to relax, to no avail.
- Gravity: Again, another thing that confuses Maxima. Gravity and Anti-Gravity are hard to study, even for higher dimensionals. Just when Maxima thinks she has it all figured out, something new comes along and makes her rethink what she had written down.
- Heresy: This was assigned to Maxima by Vita as a way to deter the foolhardy from seeking forbidden knowledge. Plus it is somewhat accurate to the kind of research Maxima engages in.
- Learning: Self-Explanatory, but it does go against the grain of her other domains.
- Maxima stopped caring about the pettiness of humanity when she became a Spiritus Magni. She’s not heartless, just indifferent. The squabbles of man no longer concern her as she has more important things to do.
- She values learning to the highest degree and looks down on those who shun it. Burning books and censoring voices, regardless of what they say, is a one-way ticket to earning Maxima’s hatred. To be clear, she is not an anarchist. She is fully capable of recognizing nuance and context.
- Maxima is fully approachable and actually quite friendly, albeit a bit messy. Her workspaces are always a mess, but are organized in her own special way. She will also always help you if you want to research anything (assuming you are not of foul intent).
- She is very protective of her fellow goddesses and all followers of the Spiritus Magni. The other goddesses are usually fine, but that does not stop her from worrying.
- Maxima has no qualms about going to the Discordant Gods of Chaos for help should the arrogance of man become too great. Her patience has been tested in the past and future…
Some ending notes and trivia:
- Spiritus Magni can recognize each other across the Multiverse, regardless of how different they might be. Maxima and Drusa have both seen Spiritus Magni from alternate universes pop up in the Unlight. The best example of this is Captain Roger/Manius.
- In regards to Captain Roger, it is unclear if his current hairstyle is a reference to that of Maxima’s.
- Maxima is confused as to why the Ar’ton respect her, but welcomes it regardless, given that they range from 10D to 12D while she started as 4D and became 5D. They have provided her with a great deal of insight, so she will not look a gift horse in the mouth.
- Maxima is currently 5th dimensional, just like Drusa was. The higher tier Spiritus Magni typically do not show up in the 3rd dimension, something most evident with Spiritus Magni Julia (the only 7th dimensional Spiritus Magni).
